  1. Idec at this point, he probably wants a huge contract. Sounds like Buffalo is standing their ground, which I respect. He's not worth anything over $4.5-$5mil a year IMO.
  2. Nope, I got mad love for Gronk. He plays and treats the game the way it should be.
  3. These topics are beginning to be so redundant and moronic.
  4. No. Tyrod is more than capable and that's obvious to anyone with common sense. The lack of patience for the only QB that's had any success in the past 10 years in mind baffling. Tyrod was passing to glorified practice squad WR's with a swiss cheese defense. The whole team was garbage besides the run game.
  5. We've been going through this for too long to be drinking the kool-aid by May. Not being a pessimist, just a realist. Pump your breaks, we haven't even played a preseason game yet. I've seen/heard all of this many times before.
  6. Who cares, I mean he needs to earn his next contract. There's no reason we should pick it up. He has to go out there and prove he can stay healthy. Since his rookie year his he's trended missed 11 games, that's 23%. I see nothing wrong with making him bet on himself.
  7. Very true. It literally is a mystery as to what his job duties entailed and I think that was the problem from the get go. We had a GM who wasn't allowed to be a GM for the most part.
  8. I was on the same idea but that's the best time to do it. Scouting for next years draft starts now (or even before for returning college players). I don't mind them doing what they think is best for the team, all these hold overs from previous management/coaching I think is more of a problem than anything. I actually think this was a blessing for Doug Whaley, he's a great talent evaluator stuck in one of the worst run organizations in professional sports.
  9. Honestly and unfortunately I don't think Doug Whaley was the problem. The main problem in buffalo is that we have ownership who is pretty much clueless on how to run an organization, let alone 2 of them. Sorry to get off topic but both the Sabres and Bills are teams that have more than adequate talent on their rosters but bad coaching hires by the owner/s have kept the organizations in mediocrity jail.
  10. Great post! I'm all the way with you on this man. The only thing that frustrated me with this organization was their total lack of urgency to keep drafting QB's over the years.
  11. You can't keep everyone man, I mean that's the whole thing with having a salary cap. I liked all the guys that left but to be honest none of them were make or break players that would have somehow, miraculously got us over the hump. Hogan was good but when you have Tom Brady throwing you the ball it's kind of hard not to look good. Gillmore was good but he's not worth $65mil. Woods isn't worth $45mil. Every team lets players walk, it literally happens ALL THE TIME.
  12. I don't know why anyone would really complain. Yeah I wanted OJ Howard or Corey Davis but it didn't happen, so I simply moved on. This guy started damn near 4 years at one of the best schools who are known to produce really good DB's. I think the Bills got the best all around corner in the draft. And if there's one position that you should feel confident about McDermott evaluating, it's a CB.
  13. I mean I respect you're opinion but I personally wasn't a Ralph fan by any means. I respect what he did for the Bill and the city of Buffalo. Definitely not going to s**t on the man's name. I'm happy he was able to keep the team in Buffalo.
  14. That story sounds like total horse****. I'm sorry but c'mon man.
  15. Yeah they really did, I see sometimes how people get upset but I think Whaley is working with probably the oddest front office in football and that he's definitely not in total control.
  16. I definitely understand where you're coming from but it's really his 3rd year as a starter. I can see a QB getting substantially better after his 2nd or 3rd year starting.
  17. Yeah Whaley takes a lot of heat but he's actually not as "terrible" as everyone makes him out to be.
  18. For once I actually whole heartedly agree with him.
  19. Unfortunately, you gotta let him walk. Buffalo screwed up again, this isn't the Patriots fault it's the fault of a horrible GM and front office. Screw it, I guess we'll be in the mix for Leonard Fournette
  20. Seriously, I really don't understand that infatuation with this guy......I just don't see it.
