  1. Is NYC still the #1 television audience, or did that move west? Worst case they would be #2 I think. Why did they ever have them playing at the same time when they created season the schedule anyway?
  2. You are more of a freak than I am! Did you ever read the comic book series by Frank Miller? It is BETTER! <edit> Oops! Looks like Dibs and me disagree. But who pays attention to a guy whose avatar is an aardvark?
  3. Even when they play each other?
  4. IMO - the edge is about the same or perhaps less than home field advantage. To reverse this, northern teams who had snow in October, like Buffalo did, are at a disadvantage when traveling to a hot and humid place like Miami in December.
  5. A couple years ago, Mrs. Rock was thinking of coming to the TBD opener with me and Babyrock. The she started talking about "why were we going up Saturday, and why were we sleeping in a tent on the ground, and were there any malls around there..." I interrupted her at that point and just said, "Nevermind, you are not going." She does come to games on other days and we pick up freebies and get into contests for free t-shirts on Abbott Rd, and she checks out the store (I give her HER ticket when she goes in the store in case she zombies out), and we have fun doing other stuff - but NOT at the TBD opener!
  6. From TBD front page - Niagara Gazette: "The Bills certainly didn’t play in a vacuum. The Colts, Bears, Cardinals and Raiders couldn’t fit 63,680 fans in their respective stadiums. The Ralph rocked like a full house Sunday, especially in the game’s deciding moments. Terrence McGee said he could barely tell the crowd was smaller than usual." Keep in mind ALL of these markets are much larger than Buffalo.
  7. Mine too. I was surprised that they reviewed it.
  8. You are right. I suck.
  9. Thanks, Lori. You da FAN!
  10. ooh, ooh, and get a PS3 , don't forget the PS3 ! You would make a good Pilgrim, Diane! Peace and joy to you and yours, sweetie!
  11. When done correctly, they are quite tasty.
  12. Ever read Summerhill ? link Interesting book. It has been in operation since 1921 so they are doing someting right!
  13. There you go! Every year there are a few I love to get, and at least one that goes directly to the shredder.
  14. He is a whore. He and John Cougar must be brothers. "HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY Show me what you got, lil mama Show me what you got, pretty lady Show me what you got, shorty Show me what you got, baby Hands up and.. waves, waves, waves, waves" "I'm hip-hop's savior, so after this flow you might owe me a favor," Jay-Z
  15. Very gutsy play. THAT is what they hired Roscoe to do!
  16. Really, we WON?! Reading the wall this morning I was not sure. That last drive was a nail biter!
  17. Just finished watching the game on tape delay I am HAPPY !

  20. You are asking him to follow rules and be serious?
  21. Yes, that can work, but they can refuse to let you back in. Aussie had it right. I got my passport last year because we go to Mexico and Canada every year.
  22. For grins we peeked in on the raptor frenzy for PS3's on eBay last night. Highest price I saw was $3500, but may of the bids were from people who had never bought or sold anything on eBay. I would be interested in how many winning bidders disappeared after the auction. Highest bid I saw with a person with a 100% rating and over 50 transactions was $2800. It was funny, while also visiting with friends, to hit the refresh key on the PC and watch a bid jump $500 or more in the last 30 seconds. These PS3s were all from pre-sales. What they had was a receipt showng they put a payment down on one, a promise to pick it up and ship it today, and a disclaimer that if something went wrong (the store did not keep their end of the deal) the winning bidder would have their money promptly refunded. Happy Holidays you greedy bastids!
  23. Uh, maybe the truth hurts? I think this is the problem with the way JP is being coached. Everything is in absolutes. This is just aother example, since they drafted him because he could run, then told him not to run. I hope he can get his confidence back after being wrapped up in Ace Bandages for the last two years. GO BILLS!
  24. Thanks, Lori! Enjoy the road trip.
