  1. The Bills are from Buffalo. If the franchise goes to another city I am done with them. Should it happen, I would hope they start a new team with no history. At least the city of Cleveland kept the name and stats for the Browns in Cleveland. What a Modell Job that was! I wonder how many Los Angeles Rams fans followed them to St. Louis? No different to me than Baltimore (Colts), Houston (Oilers), St. Louis (Cardinals), and Cleveland (Ravens?) As far as the NFL, I do not know what I would do. I wish R. Wilson could strike a deal that would allow the team to pass from his hands upon his death to another Western NY oriented owner.
  2. "Holy crap! " "You want to know the meaning of life? You're born, you go to school, you go to work, you die. Canole... Marie!" RIP Frank
  3. Go to your local library first and get a current guide to grading and pricing vinyl. Could save you a lot of time.
  4. EZC where do you tailgate?
  5. Thanks! Oh, wait - was that SARCASM? It works for most other NFL cities!
  6. It is actually a few miles farther from Rochester than OP , but Niagara Falls NY is an armpit.
  7. Media. The Pats are not saying anything. I'll bet quietly they have spies looking for who sold the video to the Fish though!
  8. Anyone get any video yet? I found this on youtube by searching "pinto ron" but it is just a tease!
  9. None taken, EII! The Ferry was a Lemming from Day One, is still idle in port, and chewing up thousands of dollars of OUR money every week, as they continue the search for some other idiot, I mean potential buyer to take it away. I would have loved it if the Ferry was the start of a renewed Lake Ontario waterfront. They are still sorting through the payola on this one. At least a 60,000 seat stadium would seat 60,000 butts in WNY at least eight times a year. Even the Ralph has done that, even if there are only four home sellouts this year. Apples and oranges.
  10. The thing that bothered me the most was the smug way Saban talked about it. Like he was F*cking General patton or something. A better analogy would be a limp-wristed-red flag throwing-Doctor Strangelove cloned-girlie man. Nothing will be done unless Jauron does this. THEN the NFL will be in an uproar.
  11. I look at it this way, they ARE GOING TO piss away my tax dollars. See Rochester and the Fast Ferry. Since they will spend it anyway, spend it on something that matters to me. Do you think taxes will be going down anytime soon?
  12. Be careful, most dealers will "low ball" you if you are looking to sell. I am not criticizing them, they have overhead too. It might be better to have them independently appraised if you think you really might have something, or "google" some of them. Do they have picture sleeves too - that can make a big difference. Do not use eBay as a barometer of value unless you plan on selling them there. Usually, unless what you have is REALLY REALLY RARE you will be lucky to get 50 cents on the book value. Also, pay strict attention to grade, many times people only see the "mint" price, when what they have is fine to poor grade. my two cents
  13. That was the photo link I put up earlier, Diane, just a couple shots at the end of the tailgate with the ESPN crew. This weekend when I see him I will *try* to get some of the action on digital video and post it on youtube (only with his permission that is). In the meantime I hope someone gets a copy of the ESPN special - I am dying here! I hope he makes it to the WNYTBDGPS Friday. He has at least once in the past.
  14. Turning 75 cents into a small fortune. Velvet Undergound LP
  15. NOT good enough!
  16. Is that empty land the place once known as Bethlehem Steel? Start excavating the shore there and you will have another Love Canal! God only knows what is buried under the slag. Not saying they shouldn't have built a new 60K capacity stadium somewhere in Buffalo, though! Make it too fancy and no one will be able to afford tickets!
  17. Sounds like you should work for a network news agency.
  18. Amen! Buffalo is one of the smallest markets with one of the largest stadiums. Easiest way to reduce 10K seats? Make the seats large enough for the average adult. The game would already be sold out!
  19. NOW I remember! Uh, I mean I think I remember - Jets game, right? (or maybe Vikings ) It is CRAZY over by Kenny's! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Beer!
  20. Will you be there this weekend? I met so many people it is hard to remember everyone (and for them to remember me!). I am better with faces than names. I remember EZC because he was so tall he was able to steal the TV remote at Danny's from the rafters, just by reaching up and taking it. I was looking for a chair to stand on. I flipped channels until management got mad and put some college ball on - which is all we asked for! I may have to tip the bowling ball at Kenny's Sunday.
  21. I remember meeting him at the home opener!
  22. I think it has been a sellout since 1987. I try to make the game in December every year. I am happy to make it to the games that I can. I believe they said 6,500 tickets at 6 o'clock. I blame the economy more than the lack of a rivalry! I will always hate the Miami Dolphins.
  23. I try to go to opening day and a snow game every year. Looks like Sunday will not be a snow game, but those who go can look for me in my 1962 Buffalo Bills Boosters Club coat! Yo-donkey! I ended up paying more than face value, including shipping, but not a lot. I know R. Rich and I THINK EZC are close by. I budgeted for this game back in September, so the family will get Christmas gifts too. I tried to buy tix at bb.com but there was nothing in the lower bowl. There are some good club level and lots of upper deck seats available. Thanks Bart, I wish you were coming East to be with us.
