  1. Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the wall of silence from OBD regarding their moves/plans.
  2. Can you show me where I did that in any of my posts about the topic? Warner is a journeyman that had success later in his career. I'm not so sure why it so hard for folks to admit. See Jackson, Fred.
  3. Sorry dude, but when you play in the Arena League, you are the definition of a journeyman. Silly Warner fanboys. You never shed the journeyman label if that's what you are. You're just a journeyman that became successful. Warner's career path, by any measure in any sport, is that of a journeyman.
  4. But...but...Locker was the 8th pick in the draft! Surely taking a QB, any QB, is a foolproof way to improve!
  5. Incorrect. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/16/not-so-fast-on-emmanuel-sanders-to-new-england/ Also of note from the article, Pats have no 4th, 5th, or 6th this year. If they do indeed give up a 3rd for Sanders, that would leave them with just 3 picks in this years draft.
  6. Amendola misses an average of 5.5 games a year. Expecting (hoping?) that to change is risky. You may not agree, but you'd be wrong.
  7. One thing that's not up for debate is that the decision to go with Amendola is far riskier than going with Welker.
  8. Mediocre to poor players at best. What's your point? The bolded guys suck. You aren't under the impression that the Pats have been running the same offense since the days of David Givens, are you?
  9. If you are going to post 40 times, please post factual info. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=33707&draftyear=2008&genpos=WR
  10. With the injury history or Hernandez, Gronkowski, and now Amendola, the odds are not in the Pats favor. History says some or perhaps all will miss significant time. Good luck with that.
  11. I liked how Skip said it was "debatable" when Sherman told him he wasn't top 22 in his chosen field. Pssst, Skip, it isn't. You aren't.
  12. Meh. Who cares. Nelson is average on his very, very, best day. For your sake I hope this is sarcasm.
  13. By who, you? Jones, Nelson, Barnett, Merriman, and Wilson clearly were not considered "core" guys by OBD. All the evidence says otherwise. You listed two UDFAs, a castoff that signed late in FA, a mid-season waiver claim, and an old vet that was given a team friendly extension prior to '11. This is what you are using to grind your axe? If you want to complain about Fitz and Levitre, fine, go ahead. But for the sake of all that is holy, please don't try to spin it like OBD ever said they were going to build around David freaking Nelson. Get a grip man. By "large" you mean Kolb and Cassel money, right?
  14. And yet people here still complain the Bills didn't draft Dalton.
  15. Far from it. Dalton, to me, is "meh". Every measureable about the guy screams middle of the pack.
  16. What does Dalton sucking at the QB position have to do with Fitz?
  17. What upgrades are needed on the DL? Also, secondary isn't all pro, but come on, it's as deep as it's been in some time, hence the release of Wilson. Searcy has arrived, and if Williams is the nickel or moved to safety then i really like it. Buddy has built from the lines out. Has he bricked on some picks? Of course. Would we all love to have CK or RW? YES! However, this is the guy that got us Glenn, Carrington, Mario, Urbik, Rinehart, Pears, and Dareus and has worked to re ink OL and DL depth including Colin Brown Sam Young etc. I think we can all agree he mis-targeted CK and RW, perhaps thinking they would go a round later. But wtf guys? For years we have complained about our interior being soft on both sides. Now we finally have a GM willing to address that first and we want to run him out of town because he didn't draft Andy Freakin Dalton?
  18. Who, prior to the post i am quoting, said Nelson "sucks"? Please stop being such a reactionary hand wringer. It's David Freaking Nelson, not Dez Bryant. Get a grip, dude. If he stays, great. If the Bills don't think he is worth a 2nd round tender, well then who can blame them? You have some balls telling us how awesome you are in the talent evaluation department and then in the same breath comparing a 30 catch a year guy to Phat Pat, Antoine, etc. It is the height of idiocy.
  19. Difference being if Williams gets beat out at LDE, his primary position, odds are he will beat someone else out at RDE. If, god forbid, he gets beat out at RDE, there's always OLB. There are four possible positions for him to play before being relegated to the bench. For Fitz or Jackson, not so much
