Corey Bojorquez stinks and at some really bad times too. Yes he got better but dang he punted enough - he should. I think over the years - similar to a Sabres goalie discussion I had with a friend - we've had pretty darn good kicking for most of my viewing life (I'm 45). I know what good kicking looks like and that's not it.

I predict if Olsen signs with Buffalo and has 2 good seasons he should and will be on our Wall of Fame. -
I disagree with everything you've said here except i wouldn't trade Njoku if I were Cleveland.

Trade for David Johnson?

We're not the type of team that needs to take risks hoping for a bounce back player. -
Myles Garrett Still Claiming Racial Slur
White Linen replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with largely what you said and it's been a good conversation, IMO. I never insinuated you said MR called him that. I just pointed out you said it would be uncharacteristic of Myles given his mild nature. That's speculation that you also didn't afford MR. I don't think cracker and n word need to be compared. It actually doesn't foster any positive movement. However, we can't dismiss other slurs and then expect positive change because historically they're not as egregious. They come from the same hateful place in present time. So a black person today - not lived through the worst time - has no right to claim special privilege if they use slurs. -
Myles Garrett Still Claiming Racial Slur

I'm not down playing it - I just think it's difficult to move relations forward trying to have a slur chart. Your argument really doesn't make things better - it's just regurgitation. If an Asian and a black guy get into an argument and the black guy calls him a slant eye and the Asain says well you're an N word. You want historical significance to come into play and say the Asian is more wrong? So for you to dismiss the other posters comment about slurs being uttered to him is ridiculous. That's why you are only able to look at this from one angle and compare Garrett to Burfect. What about Rudolph's character tells you he likely made a racial slur? -

No slur is ok but there's definitely a ranking system? You have no idea what happened but because Garrett is mild and loves art he's probably not lying? I think in order to be the most fair and move forward on issues like this - we should start with all slurs are bad and are equally offensive. Then we'll at least have a baseline. If we say some slurs are worse than others - we'll never fix things. Especially if we are going to say people are insane and ignorant because the slur used on them isn't the same. -
Personally not interested. As others have mentioned he did well in zone but he's never been quick. I also think we play a lot of man coverage - some think we play zone. Regardless, I'd still like my corners to be quick in either. I also saw him get beat deep too much, so if he's getting beat deep and can't press, it's a pass for me.

Interim coach -
I"m not sure what you mean - they've slashed payroll big time. They haven't begun to spend money in any significant way.

He takes a lot of grief because he's actually not what most posters here say he is. He does not take on double teams and he's suspect against the run. Those are the two things people keep trying to say he does well and he doesn't. He's a rotational guy that is decent.

This is why I think we as a fanbase at times think too small and try too hard to fit our players into larger categories. -

I'll make it simpler since you can't resist arguing about nothing. I didn't mean Beasley types as in the same player and skills - for example I didn't mean a shifty 5 foot 8 TE. Obviously I meant in terms of impact. You have over 25K posts and you think Beane is looking to add Beasley impact "playmakers", I mean it's becoming hilarious. He had more games under 20 yds receiving than he did over 100 and Beane is scorching the earth to find more. -

I never once asked you for the difference between speed and quickness. I showed you quickness doesn't exist without speed by any measure including definition. My point was you argue about something congruent - just to argue. As it relates to playmakers - we can define them differently and that's a discussion. Playmakers for our team vs league wide recognized for example. Beasley wouldn't be chosen as a playmaker by any other fan but a Bills fan. We think too small IMO and try to fit our players in bigger boxes. It's my opinion Beasley is a piece that fits nicely with playmakers around him. We're in desperate need of them. We need another thousand yards passing yearly to be good. I suspect you're incorrect about Beane's assessment and he's looking for more than a few more Beasley types. -

I agree with Beane that our offense needs playmakers and when I think of that term - to me it means among the best in the game. I like Devin and he made some plays but I don't think he's dynamic enough. We need some bell cow's somewhere on offense. I think things like saying Beasley is dangerous - is not understanding what we need. -

Perhaps you can tell us where Beans said he wanted quickness in playmakers. You're arguing against speculation with speculation. Just to argue. I wouldn't put him in that category. I think he's a good player. Wasn't a dig on him. -

Quickness - the quality of moving fast or doing something in a short time. i just don't understand what you're arguing against. -

I mean if you want those type of players to be our top end - it's not going to be good enough.
