  1. "Everybody knows a woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood."
  2. Anyone would look bad protecting Kyle Orton. To say Wood shouldn't be in the NFL is ridiculous.
  3. Pretty sure everyone so far except the OP has - fools?
  4. I could understand if he just lost the game or had just got done playing and was getting mobbed. They blew the team out and just came off a very nice victory. He was a backup and wasn't approached by many although some because he was thought of as the future. The smug way he wouldn't even acknowledge me - when this time on the field is clearly an opportunity for fans to interact with the players was ridiculous. I mean look I'm 40 years old I could give a crap that some kid doesn't care to acknowledge me, but it would have taken the same amount of effort to say, thanks I appreciate it.
  5. I went to a Clemson game while he was there. After the game fans are allowed to just walk the field freely so I approached Chad. Wearing a Bills hat and pointing to it I said "hey man I grew up watching your Uncle and I hope to see you do well and follow your career. Buffalo fans are rooting for you." He was a miserable jerk.
  6. "But we’re going up there to make a difference. We’re not going up there to stand in the owner’s box and look important. That’s not the gig.” Wow! For a city that definitely doesn't rely on it, Buffalo got lucky with this man.
  7. I didn't know you had to mail anything in after 5,000 posts. Well I'm staying short of that then.
  8. The most frustrating thing for me is no matter our record the QB situation is still not figured out. If we went 8-8 or 9-7 and it was clearer that EJ was the answer - IMO it would be a hugely successful season. To me going 10-6 with Orton means little.
  9. Jordan Cameron. Shouldn't break the bank and if the injury concern is limited the upside is huge.
  10. Are you CBF on Rumblings? If so I've enjoyed your posts both there and here.
  11. Why do this? This is why most of the people I know don't want to come to our board.
  12. It's impossible imo to blame Hackett more and above Marrone. I think Doug completely changed his style this year with the players and media alike. It's backfiring big time. The defensive players clearly love playing with each other and the enthusiasm is palpable. You look at the other side of the ball that the head coach is in total command of and there's nothing cohesive about it and they aren't playing for each other.
  13. What if the Patriots trade for a good player, or draft one, or sign one in free agency?
  14. Jay Cutler certainly has his issues especially with decision making centered around when to not throw a ball. He has a gift of an arm and he lets his talent override his mind. In saying that, on this team he would be in the playoffs and I don't think it's debatable. That's how good I think the rest of our team is.
  15. Nice place to live doesn't mean great sports city that's for sure.
  16. I'm not making fun of you or being smart, just saying it's not that big of an upgrade and I'd rather roll with Orton and have him even more comfortable in the playbook.
  17. Just because our current options aren't great doesn't mean you bring in another low level option. It's like saying going all in with pocket 3's is crazy but if you have 4's you should.
  18. It's clear to me we can win against mediocre and below teams with Orton and for some that's exciting enough. But we can't contend with teams that have a decent coaching staff. Kyle is just very limited and can't be asked or expected to carry a team.
  19. It's close and with the defense we have we have to move forward or we're going backwards. This defense is special and they don't stay together long these days.
  20. He really looked like a guy dazed from getting hit in the head. He basically said haha tricked you right in front of the refs and they called it anyway. They threw the flag but were huddled, why couldn't one of them say "look at him - he's mocking that he's actually ok and drew a flag before we announced it".
  21. I agree he looks incredibly slow but what's more incredible is how he ends up gaining yards after contact. I can't figure out how he's doing it because beyond heart there's nothing special about his skills.
  22. Did anyone happen to catch the analysis Trent Dilfer made of RGIII? Where he said if you look at the history of football "small jointed" QB's break down. I thought it was right on and really made sense.
  23. I should have went to the ceramics class with my wife.
  24. Agreed it's a concern, but his upside in terms of talent is special.
