  1. I'm surprised to see you say this. I think clearly Fox is the better coach. Carolina fans are stupid, but for me it's because they want people like Fox and Newton gone. Ridiculous!
  2. I don't know about that. I think it's close but to say we would be far and away better than Seattle if we had their offense is a stretch.
  3. Why did he email them? Sounds a little like that he was kind of begging for something and then they went way over the top. Definitely a cool story but to me a bit bizarre that he would contact public relations to just say hey I'm a life long fan and am planning to come to a game, just wanted to let you know.
  4. Do we really believe as the AP states that Bills Officials including the Pegula's interviewed Mike Shanahan - to take on the GM type role while Whaley is sitting there? Then the Raiders interviewed Mike Shanahan for just their coaching job? This is why reading most of what Tim Graham tweets is not a good idea.
  5. I agree. I'd be thinking in the 2 year 5.75 mil range. Do you think that would be enough to keep him and be good numbers for Buffalo?
  6. I love the way you put that!
  7. I don't think it's surprising Marrone handled it wrong. What this tells me is Marrone decided late that leaving the Bills made the best financial sense for him. I don't necessarily blame him for that and I am glad we're moving on without him.
  8. Pretty much how I feel.
  9. I know this isn't always the case but usually if you've made as much money as Terry you're a fantastic decision maker and it's usually centered around putting the right people in place. That's just my take on why it's a good thing. I know Terry seems meek and naive but I'm sure he's a focused shark when it comes to things like this.
  10. ESPN gave him a chance to express his unusual style and he proved the public would accept it. Great Job! I hope he knew the Lord.
  11. Ok so you at least agree that giving Schwartz a raise as you suggest is only after the new head coach agrees to have him as his DC?
  12. It's a tough position for the Bills. His name was put up there prior to everything that transpired. He wasn't convicted so what would the Bills do "well we know he did it so we're taking his name down". I think the organization is as embarrassed by his name being up there as we are. I think the best thing to do is just leave him off any recognition of past players in the new stadium and they can come up with a PC reason to not include him.
  13. I found his little write up insulting.
  14. Don't you think the head coach is going to have some say about keeping Schwartz or are you guaranteeing you think the Pegula's are saying he's our DC so you have to accept that?
  15. C'mon Tim, someone told you the coach reports directly to the owner and not the GM?
  16. When he said that I believe he had already been coaching for 12-13 years. IMO more power in personal decisions is earned and doesn't usually come after a 6-10 year one and then quit the next year because you weren't listened to. If this is true Marrone has serious psychological issues.
  17. That's the funniest thing I've heard in a while. There is no New England system, dynasty, whatever without Tom Brady. He is the majority reason for their success.
  18. Ingenuity and innovative are such over hyped terms. Winning in the NFL is more simple than that. The best QB's in the game give their team a chance to win a championship. Then it's about the simple yet complex things like execution, dedication, hard work, commitment and those are the things excellent coaches get out of their players. They have a great relationship with their excellent QB and everyone falls in line and they win games.
  19. Why does either quitting or coming back warrant an announcement? Just do what you have to do and realize it doesn't effect or matter to anyone but yourself. You post this as if everyone should remember that you left after the Raiders game.
  20. I think I get your point but your kind of backhanding WGR too. Not sure if you've had the opportunity to listen to much local coverage outside of Buffalo but if you haven't you should. Buffalo does a darn good job. I live in Charlotte and listening to this local media about the Panthers is pathetic. I literally cannot listen to it anymore and I used to most mornings. I found the coverage today especially by Sal and then by Simon to be excellent and level headed.
  21. I think a lot of this BS is coming from Adam Scheffters agent being the same as Doug Marrone's agent. Our local guy Graham isn't smart enough to understand what's going on.
