Don't get me wrong I really like Hughes but if we bring in Revis the pass rush would flourish without him. I would be an advocate for franchise tagging Hughes with the intention of only keeping him for one more year, so that all that money could go to Dareus.

I think it's more about the initial thought you get in your mind about McCown being the starting QB. I'm not saying he will be and I understand he hasn't signed yet - and even if he is it's not that he is the only one we can bring in/sign. Nevertheless that initial thought that automatically pops into your head is frightening.

I don't think there's the interest by the Jets for Spiller people think. Chris Johnson is 29 and proof that being that small is very difficult to last. CJ has already had a significant injury prone past and couldn't sniff Johnson's jock.

What if you rank the QB's as a GM/Organization and one you have slated in the 2nd round and another in the 4th - the one in the 4th has this brain type, what do you do?

I don't find this particularly interesting at all. There is no way to pre-determine who will be a franchise QB or who won't be for that matter. In addition say this was true and someone like Andrew Luck has this brain type and he's the only one, what are you going to do about it? He went to the team that had the first pick.

I don't know a sole that thinks Sammy is a bust so I'm not sure where the OP is hearing that. I love Sammy Watkins but to be perfectly honest Beckham just looks to be better. Evans is a completely different type of receiver but is very good. In saying that I could absolutely care less about Beckham and Evans and I just don't see why we as fans spend so much time worrying about every player that gets taken after our pick and it goes on for years and years. Sammy is a fantastic receiver, he's a Buffalo Bill, and he had an excellent rookie season.

I disagree. I think they'll be looking for a pass catching tight end whether he can block or not. I believe they'll attempt to find both but passing ability will come first. If he has enough size they'll teach him to be an adequate blocker.

That would put him right around Jared Cook and Mercedes Lewis money. I don't think he'll command Gronk or Graham money but I'm thinking it's going to be 8 to 8.5 mil/year range.

This might be true. If it was the case it shows how professional our players are and that with the right leadership they can go even further with that kind of loyalty to team. Rex said if we're all in this together - we'll win. Well it seems Rex is inheriting that type of locker room.
