  1. Probably a bit premature but every year we go through who our surprise cuts are. Who's yours? Offense - I'm going with Goodwin. I think the last not contact injury was the final straw. Hope for him to be able to stay on the field has to be dwindled. Defense - Robey-Coleman. I just get this feeling that he's in trouble.
  2. Yeah, you're starting to get a boring with this broken record.
  3. I wish I knew how much influence agents have on players. I get the feeling the agents guilt the players into doing things like this.
  4. Karlos is going to look back and say damn - if I would have kept myself straight I could have played with one of the great young QB's in the game - Tyrod Taylor.
  5. Look, I understand what you're saying and we're not that far off. I think the important part of your post is give your all in practice - especially in the film room. It's become a thinking man's game as the game has evolved along with the physicality. These guys are getting stronger, bigger and more athletic. Unfortunately the joints don't get bigger so it's an injury ridden game. The pre-season to me is get the starters a little action to feel the game speed again and for others to make the team. I don't want my known starters to go crazy and get hurt but play hard and smart. I think you'll agree those trying to make the team should go all out.
  6. It's not about them. I'ts about Badol actually thinking he's the best talent evaluator of the 3. They've studied film on the players and so has Badol - he literally believes folks should side with him - prior to either of them playing in the NFL - that they f'd up missing what he see's so clearly. It's hilarious and you're the sheep.
  7. It amazes me that you think your smarter than Whaley and Monos.
  8. I find it ridiculous that you should give everything you have in game 3 of the pre-season - in the event the world ends and someone finds your game film. They went 6-10, 10-6, 4-12 and 7-9 while he was in Detroit. Didn't work apparently.
  9. It's mental warfare being a place kicker. I've said it in another thread - that it really bothers me that Rex is messing with Carp again. You don't do it to kickers unless you absolutely have to for competition purposes.
  10. and he's proven he can play in the league
  11. This was what I thought too and it infuriates me. Rex almost immediately jumped on Carpenter last year and it failed. I disagree with trying to get in the head of a kicker by screwing with him.
  12. Read your post back to yourself and I hope for your sake - you expose yourself.
  13. I bet they'll sign some free agents to replace these guys - they're so brilliant. We'd never think of that when our players go down.
  14. C'mon 26 the league is littered with playoff teams that fire the head coach after one year.
  15. Yes, firing a GM before the season starts makes a whole lot of sense.
  16. How is it weird timing? He came in grossly overweight - which is a bigger problem than it seems. Even in Hard Knocks, Jeff Fisher said this is not the NFL of yesteryear where training camp was just running these guys to death and they would hit and hit and hit. Now it's a different approach with an emphasis on mechanics and learning. The athlete is required to come already in shape. That means weight, strength and conditioning. To be 32 lbs over your playing weight is a nightmare because you're not going to lose it in practice. It's no time to be on a diet because the days are short on top of all the other responsibilities. It was an up hill climb and they gave him a shot. What else could they do? The issue is that they have to get ready to play and reps are of the essence and can't be given to an overweight player, not earning them and that actually can't play for you until October 3rd. The Bills knew it was an issue an immediately put him with the trainers because it was critical that he do something about the weight immediately - he didn't do it. They had little choice.
  17. To me the timing is perfectly done. It shows me they didn't make an emotional decision because they didn't do it right away. They gave him an opportunity to redeem himself - he didn't - so they didn't want to dedicate pre-season reps to a player who didn't earn them. Nicely done Bills!
  18. I am loving everything this organization is doing since new ownership.
  19. Blood handshake? Boston will do anything to get Vesey.
  20. After seeing the video - this name change was handled appropriately and with class. I couldn't put a negative spin on it based on a sign. I love everything this organization is doing - everything!!
  21. Shame on those federal prosecutors for accepting 9 years. I wish the judge would have addressed them also. What a despicable person you would have to be to try getting away with that.
  22. Looks to me like the hat portion is a digital image and would/can change. It could rotate in and out of different images, etc.
