Malik Willis benched in Tennessee, Titans will start Josh Dobbs

in fact in the NFL! -
Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson failing good for QB market.

Don't forget Murray in that mix!!! Lamar may still get a contract similar to Wilson or Murray, but he will be in the same situation as Watson or Wilson. Go Bills! Burrow will be in line next to get the best contract and hopefully he will sign a team friendly deal for the Bengals. Mahomes, Allen and Burrow will be the face of the AFC for the next decade. -
He threw for three TDs in the game in 2019 (10-6 year with Wild Card exit) at Orchard Park

The Patriots won 17 AFC East Division crown in 19 seasons (since 2001). The Dolphins and Jets won once each. The Bills have quite a ways to match that statistics
-
Panthers, Falcons to add
-
Yes. However, he also got lucky to play a weak AFC West (Denver, Raiders) and a weak AFC South (Texans, Jaguars, Titans, Indy) and fairly weak NFC West (Cardinals, Seattle, Rams, 49ers). The Bills on the other hand has met stiff competition in the AFC East (Lost to Miami and Jets) and a AFC North that is likely to send at least 2 teams to the Playoffs (Baltimore and Bengals)and an average NFC North (Vikings, Packers, Lions, Bears). Plus the Bills had to go through adversity with the weather playing 3 games in 12 days (all on the road) and still pulled victories in all of them

Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job

and add all those injuries to key players...Hyde, Poyer, Oliver, Miller, Edmunds, Milano, White, Phillips, Rosseau, Epenesa all have missed games during the regular season and yet they are 3 plays away from being 15-0. -
I believe Tua is a much better QB and will bring a lot more stability to the Dolphins organization than Mike White.

We will never know -
Josh McDaniels doesn’t rule out benching Derek Carr

Garett Wilson has been a fantastic #1 WR. Corey Davis is also a #1 WR...and Mims is not far behind... Technically they may have a better cast than the Bills at this point (Minus Diggs). -
The Bills need to move away from McKenzie as the slot receiver and either put Beasley permanently or have Shakir replace him and give them the reps. McKenzie has been a big disappointment as a slot receiver. He has not been that safety valve for Josh. I still think the best combination on the field will be. Hines/Cook in the backfield and Diggs/Davis/Knox at WR. This combination can be a huge mismatch. I also remember (there was even a video on it) how Daboll used Davis and Beasley combination to ensure that Diggs or Knox was always wide open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzO2-KNemQM I would rather get the WR with the #1 and take OL on 2 and 3.

The Athletic: Bills QB room article - includes AFC East QB shade
ganesh replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
So well put. McDermott has changed the culture of this team; the environment at OBD earlier with Ryan and Maronne was very toxic. QBs such as Taylor and Manuel got a very raw deal and never were able to settle in to play the most important position. -
Don't forget George Pickens with the Steelers. He is having a stand out rookie season. He has been un-coverable just like Wilson. Once both teams have a good enough QB these two are going to be shining lights of the NFL
-
bizarre endings is something we seem to get one every year... 2 years ago it was the Hail Murray ending Last year, it was 13 seconds and the 4th and 1 at the Titans one yard line This year we have had the Fumble at 1 yard instead of icing the game.
-
Got overly excited !!!! Wanted to say there was a difference of 20 TDs....but in that excitement wrote down 200.... I mean it is not Mahome's fault that he did not get a chance to play his first season. Both QBs have been impressive in their own ways. Now they need to go win multiple Super Bowls to show case that they are the best QBs of this era (possibly along with Burrow and Herbert)
-
should have written as 2 games by less than a TD (the other two games were by a TD or a TD + 2 Pts). The Bills have beaten Miami, KC, Browns, Titans , Jets just like the Bengals. The Bills also have beaten the Steelers and Ravens - Both of whom the Bengals lost (and won against steelers in 2nd game). If you look at common opponents, it is fairly a wash. Both teams are evenly matched and both are going through the Ups and Downs during the regular season. The Bengals started 0-2 whereas the Bills started 2-0......Then the Bills lost two straight in the middle of their season. The Bengals only blowout win is against the Panthers. This will be a very close game and whoever has the ball for the final drive will win the game.

It starts at 6:45 AM for me (India) and usually means I have to WFH on those days skipping my 8 AM and 9 AM calls !! Go Bills !
-
Injuries on the OL has been catching up with this team. Dawkins, Morse and Spencer (all starting linemen) have missed multiple games during this period. The Bills have to overcome that on a daily basis. The same goes on the defense....Von Miller, Oliver, Edmunds, Milano, Poyer, Phillips, Rosseau - All have been missing games through the season.
-
Actually seeing Cook and Hines in the same backfield will be lot of fun with the speed they have. Cook/Hines/Diggs/Davis/Knox could be a lethal combination as long as the OL can block.
-
It is really maddening that people keep calling Tua a limited QB. The guy has delivered everything asked of him by this team. The guy has a 105. Quarterback rating through the season. Limited QBs don't put up statistics as Tua has done. Before their 4 straight losses, the guy had the best record in the AFC.
-
I believe Miami lost its 1st round pick due to "Tampering" charges against Tom Brady. THe 2nd 1st rounder was traded for Chubb.
-
17 years of the Bills ineptitude will do that to you! The Bills had a great chance to host the AFCG last year.....only 13 seconds separated them from hosting the Bengals!
-
Edmunds will be a FA and Oliver will be playing out his fifth year (and may hold out for a new contract). Poyer is also in the last year of his contract and Hyde is coming back from a serious Neck injury. The Bills will have plenty of holes and very little cap space to move around unless Diggs, Miller and Allen restructure their contracts.
