  1. The common thread in 17 years was not necessarily bad coaches....We did have decent to better than decent HC....Problem was we did NOT have a Franchise QB.....until #17 came to Buffalo. Dick Jauron, Chan Gailey, Doug Maronne, Rex Ryan, Mike Mularkey were all good HCs.
  2. Do they have a good OL? All SB winning teams had good to great OL that gave time to their QB to make their throws...Brady had some of the phenomenal OL and so did Big Ben in Pittsburgh. I am sure the Giants won those two SB with Eli with a strong OL and DL (that harassed passers)
  3. Allen is the key to this engine. Everyone plays the "spare parts" role...Go Bills !!!
  4. He could be a big target for #17
  5. Thanks. I was just curious to know who else.
  6. Which are the players that came back ? The only one that I am aware is Shaq Lawson and Phillips. Is there others who came back to the Bills after a big contract ?
  7. Ed Oliver had a very quiet day.
  8. great write up as always Virgil. on to Baltimore, the 1st of the three road games against teams with superbowl aspirations. These are the teams we are likely to meet in the playoffs deep in January...It will be a good barometer on our own aspirations. Go Bills !!!!
  9. Happy Birthday James. Keep Cooking! Go Bills !!!
  10. ZERO INJURIES
  11. Marino mentioned that it was 34 of 37 dating to last year.
  12. It is the toughest part of our schedule... *. 3 games on the road *. 3 games against teams with SuperBowl aspirations *. 3 games against Top 5-10 best QBs in the league *. 3 games against Top defenses in the NFL *. 2 of the 3 in Primetime on SNF and MNF (and the Houston game probably gets the CBS #1 announcers) If they get past this cycle, then they have a soft stretch before bunch of games against Chiefs, 49ers, Rams and Lions . Go Bills !!!
  13. The key to beating Stroud is getting that pass rush. If you give him time in the backfield, he will shred any defense. Minnesota was bringing that pressure continuously and harassed Stroud all day. For Batimore, it is more of the containment so that they don't give the lanes for Lamar to run. The defense has to play completely different between Lamar and Stroud. Corrects. A crack (normal case) will heal naturally. When you are in a violent accident, the bones not only crack but they may BREAK. Break requires immediate surgery to put screws in to stabilize it.
  14. Josh is overrated.
  15. We haven't seen. a single reverse sweep or a naked bootleg yet. Looking for those to keep those defense off-balance in the coming weeks. Our next three games are *. On the Road *. Against tough opponents * with great defense that incudes pass rushers * QBs that can make plays It is going to be a DOG FIGHT on National TV.
  16. I agree. People are harsh on Cook because the video shows ball going through his hands...but what is not seen is the spectacular leap he made to reach that ball...He was a good 3-4 yards behind the ball.
  17. The only injury I care about is the one on the left hand of #17. Everything else is immaterial. And it concerns that he keeps hiding that left hand below the table during his press conferences.
  18. Is he running barefoot ?
  19. I am sure there were bad plays on those three opening drives against the Cardinals. This team has been outstanding since then for 10 quarters.
  20. They do have TJ Watt on defense...a guy who didn't play in the last playoff game with us. The Steelers are a tough football team with some weapons. Go Bills !!!
  21. It definitely was impacting. Even when trying to hug teammates, he was not doing his usual bear hug.
  22. how much of those 31 points are garbage time points...(plus a KR for TD).
