I doubt Allen succeeds if he went to the Jets. It was clear from Allen's rookie season that he was not ready for the NFL. The Bills nurtured him to what he is today. The Jets would have thrown him by the wayside. It is tough to play and survive in that market. Even a SB Quarterback Kurt Warner was kicked out of that market.

That is changing history. The Bills desperately tried to move above Pittsburgh and take Big Ben. They loved him for the same reasons they liked Josh Allen. Big Arm, strong body that can play in the cold and windy Orchard Park. The Jaguars were the potential partner...unfortunately they were bent upon getting one those Williams WRs....and they were afraid Pittsburgh will take him....They could have still had plenty of WRs... 😞

The team stiil has six games to go in regular season before worrying post season. They have three tough games coming up followed by three tough divisional matchups... Post season wins is what is remembered and the Bills are aware of it....the painful losses they have endured the last five seasons.... they are the king of December in the NFL and hope to continue that into January and finally become the Emperor in February. When the defender is 10 yards away, every play is Mistake free as there is no opportunity to make a mistake 🙂. Go Bills !!! The only time Allen did the old Allen thing was the three downs against Houston in the waning seconds of the game. On 1st down, he went for the kill...once he missed, then he tried to make some (almost) reckless plays on 2nd and 3rd down and giving the Texans great field position. That game was really odd especially with his 30% completion percentage...

May be the narratives change this year in the playoffs. The defense rises The offense is balanced and doesn't require Allen to be a super hero Allen makes those spectacular plays that only he can make but stays within the system. They could be winning the SB this year.

I used to go through this regularly when I lived in Pittsburgh. My entire family are Steelers fans while I am the lone die hard Bills fan in the house...And under Rothlisberger, they rarely lost to the bungling Bills and everyone in my house would holler at me with their terrible terrible towels...
