I think Tyrod is better than Schaub. Kyle can work with Tyrod/Watkins/Clay/McCoy. They need to get a #2 WR.

I agree...We had 3 seasons of mediocrity (7-9) with Dick Jauron...Now two back to back 8-8 with Rex sandwiched by a bunch of 6-10/7-9 and 9-7....The only time they were bad was they picked Dareus and that hasn't really worked out. But it is the important position you need to find stability. The same Steelers are in the playoffs because of Big Ben at the helm for the past 10-12 seasons.

That may be true. But benching of Tyrod tell otherwise. The Bills have take a precautionary option with TT so that the new HC can evaluate Taylor and decide if will compete for the starting position. My interpretation of that indicates that the Bills have not indicated any preference to Lynn.

At the end of it you still need good talent accompanied with great coaching. Wade Philips ran a great defense because he had Washington and Williams to anchor his run defense. He had Bruce Smith, Bryce Paup to attack the QB. When Wade had similar talent in Denver, he won a Super Bowl as a Defensive coordinator. Schwartz cajoled a reluctant Mario Williams and a young Dareus to play well and the play of Hughes was a big bonus. Club Rex could not do that with his talented men. He could not get this defensive front seven to stop the run and get off the field on 3rd down.

Rex had a responsibility as the HC and he did not meet it. When the season goes in the tank, it is the HC's responsibility whether you like it or not.

The problem is not whether he has earned it. He simply has a contract. The Bills have to either cut him or pay him according to the contract. In a QB Needy NFL, I am sure some team will throw him money if you let him on the FA market. The bills will have to suck up that bonus and pay unless they clean house. It is always fun to say let someone go. BUt who is the replacement.

I think Travis Henry was very close behind, especially since he gave us 5 full seasons.
