  1. 3-6 playing a 5-4 team. He had a class veteran QB who knew to take advantage of his opportunities of a short field and lousy tackling. In spite of having the two best pass Rushers and one of the best QB, Anthony Lynn has his team at 4-6....I think Sean is a better coach than Lynn
  2. I understand what you are saying. But again yesterday's 1st quarter had to be some kind of fluke. Balls flying out of WRs hands into waiting hands of DBs. The mistake I see Dennison made was in NOT protecting his young QB. He could have had Peterman make the dink-and-dunk offense especially when playing against the WORST RUN Defense in the NFL and McCoy was having a great day. Instead he tried to get his rookie in to a frenzy and with a poor OL against two of the best Pass Rushers, the results were going to be predictably bad.
  3. That is so sad.
  4. Coaches have to take decisions. Sometimes they work..sometimes they don't. Sean felt that TT was not inspiring his team as the leader. He was throwing 3 yards when you had a 3rd and 10. Yesterday, TT was sharper because he understood that he had to take risks. When he took risk it paid off as well as bombed (the fumble return for TD). The issue with TT has been that he needs his WRs to be open before he throws. That does not cut it TT is the best QB on this team now. But he is not enough to win a championship, especially with this team that has so many holes. At the end talent and hard work wins championships. We need to improve the talent. The coaches then mold that talent to have a single work ethic and that is what takes them to the next level.
  5. Also NFL teams will not take chances, whether he needs one or not. They would want to immobilize it.
  6. Why are we assuming Dennison was the problem. Our OL has been a disaster without Glenn in the line up. Incognito and Wood are playing well below average. Our Right side --Enough said. Tyrod throws 3 yards on 3rd and 8...that is not the OC's fault.
  7. Our Pass rush has been putrid for the last three weeks. This defense is playing too soft.
  8. This is crap. Besides the turnovers, this defense has stopped the run in all the games they won. Give credit to the team.
  9. To get to 10, they need to go 5-3 in the 2nd half. The Bills are 4-0 at home and have 4 more home games. If they can win those 4, then they really need one at Miami, KC or San Diego
  10. The defense was outplayed. Give credit to the Jets!
  11. It is poetic justice that the Giants pushed out Tom Coughlin for Ben McAddoo (Who??)...Tom is having a great season down south.
  12. we have a weak OL. They have been absolutely dismal in the run game when we need it on the road. Tyrod holds on to the ball too long to avoid mistakes and takes sacks. His OL doesn't do any favor for him or McCoy. I don't think these coaches have a chance to run an open-play when the LBs are in the backfield before the ball reaches the RB.
  13. Exactly. He fights for the ball and can go get them even if Tyrod is a little wayward.
  14. good point. I forgot the road game against Atlanta. I agree that the tough one is the win against NE at home. We need a pass rush. They have to get Laswon ready for Brees, Saints, Smith and Brady. That is the four QBs we will be facing in the next four games and they will determine our destiny
  15. They would anyway need more pass rushers..that is how they win the division against Brady. No Pass Rush, Brady will kill you.
  16. And he had one catch for the whole game.
  17. It starts by beating the Patriots. We have to go 8-0 at home and protect our turf
  18. IF we win two of the next four, we will be in good shape for the final four games. Good teams have to start putting away opponents irrespective of their rankings. That is always the hallmark of the playoff teams.
  19. We should aim to win out at home...that gives us 8 wins and we need to look for 2 on the road (Colts and Fish would help). Those WC trips are always hard irrespective of the strength of the opponent. It all starts with a win against the Saints at home. This team has 10 days to prepare for Brees and Company.
  20. Divisional games are always hard fought even if one of the opponents is bad
  21. The assumption here that the #2 QB is a second coming of Tom Brady is off the charts. NE Backups have not gone out and had the same success as Tom Brady. Even their coaches have had piss-poor success. They have not been able to replicate that system because they don't have the same QB!
  22. In a QB rich class (as everyone claims) putting out a 2nd rounder on a future QB is a good idea. Tyrod can be the bridge QB and if he does make it to the SB, then he will be our QB for a long time. If you don't even "try", how can we get a "result" Tyrod game ticks well, when the run game is going wild. When teams stop the run and put the onus on Tyrod to beat them, he has to show that he can do that. Having Benjamin and Clay in the huddle will help him to go for it. There will be games like the one against the Bengals and Panthers where our Run game was stuffed and they dared Tyrod to beat them. He has to show that he can do it.
  23. That is a slam-dunk in favor of the Bills. That #2 pick may be a later pick with the way the Rams are playing, but the drop off between Sammy and Benjamin are not that big. We still have significant holes at LB, DT and need depth at several positions including CB, S, RB
  24. I believe they can cut him and then re-sign back as a FA. BUt that is exactly what you want them for. Either to build depth via the draft (which we need quite a bit) and/or trade for better players.
