Yeaha...on the flip side Troy Aikman had severe concerns on draft day when the Bills traded two additional picks to draft Allen over Rosen. He felt that you cannot teach QBs to be accurate. Of course Allen has proved him wrong by going from 50% to 58% in his first two seasons... So we got to take all these pundits opinions with a pinch of salt. At the end of the day they are paid to give opinions about others.

100%...only thing the coaches should be teaching him is to protect his body. We simply cannot afford an injury to him. Our backup position is quite shaky as evidence in the season finale last year,
We hit this wall in the late 90's when the team loaded for one final hurrah and failed...then they had to cut Thurman, Andre, Bruce, Cornelius all in the same time...and the dead cap also prohibited the Bills from being active on the FA market.
Why not change the goal post design to put a horizontal bar at the top...That way your kick is only good if it went through the Uprights as well as within the given height.....I just don't get the NFL's fascination with "ambiguity" in several areas.
Another subtle acknowledgement on the play was the Josh's Rushing TD. As per Josh, the play action was set up because Bates was declared eligible receiver and he ran into the EZ and the defender had ot run with him to cover him. With the LB caught going after the RB, it was a easy TD for Josh.
Josh acknowledged that after the TD by looking for Bates and giving him the ball to spike.
He definitely missed the pre-season games to get live game practice. The guy has kicked successfully in college. Let us give him the time to settle down in the NFL
Last year was a fluke year with regards to injuries on the Bills team. This year with limited off season and a weird TC, we are not going to be that lucky.
