Years ago I was on some commuter flight and Ted Cottrell sat across the aisle from me. After a couple minutes of conversation I thought to myself how would I feel if some guy comes up to me and starts talking "shop" about JIT & Lean Mfg & Kaizen, etc..........it would suck
Of course Cottrells & Whaleys job are much COOLER than mine
I had it Saturday in N Falls Canada. I was really weak, no coffee taste. Hasn't coffee gone up a lot? Maybe they changed their formulation. But the hot chocolate the wife had was great
Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds are much better any way
In the early 70's I was in high school in Cheektowaga. A kid from our school maybe 15 hung himself in a wooded area in Williamsville off Main st. He was a victim of EXTREME bullying which I can be quite sure led to that.
Yeah the guy hasn't had damages yet, but I think he is getting his suit out there for the sake of visibility. For the NFL & players. And how about the 100 of thousand PSL holders who could pile on with their suits. Maybe a class action type.
I also don't think "any" football gets the NFL off the hook. You go to a restaurant and order & pay for filet mignon, and they serve you a PBJ sandwich, they can't say "well its food". Alright, bad analogy and I like PBJ, had it for lunch today
Seems like there is a lot of "blame" going on here in posts as to what did Detroit in. Simply, it is now a global economy we all live in. And that will over the long time erode the standard of living in the US. EVERYTHING can be done cheaper somewhere else. Manufacturing was just the first to go.
Someone posted about how Buffalo looks. OK here is a site with a Buffalo thread 53 pages long, but some great pictures. See how many you recognize
SS City
The thread below is how I found this site. I think it's awesome
Concrete Central
That sucks. My house was broken into about 20 years ago. A neighbor was a foster parent, and had a kid for like 2 months who broke into half of the closest 25 houses around.
Local police tell me that they won't be able to recover anything, but most everything ends up at the local pawn shop and I can go buy it back if I want it bad enough. I said isn't that like a crime in itself being a receiver of stolen goods? They said you want it or not?
I remember although I already had deadbolts, I put up a massive vapor light in my backyard, and pinned all my windows. The kid broke a window latch to get in. Put glass block cellar windows in too. But if someone wants to get in, they will
I have a 52" LCD Samsung that is a couple years old. Works FINE!
But that reminds me of a 27" Phillips tube TV I had. Bought it for $250 with a 90 day warranty. Day 100 it fries itself to the tune of a $175 repair and Phillips told me too bad. BUT, we really value you as a customer
Seriously. I guess one could say he also had one of the most successful NFL financial careers. If it ends today, what did he make? $50 mil? For being one big POS. I'm not looking it up, but it has to be up there
I remember his first game against Denver. Been here like 2 days, they line him opposite Bruce and every down just head up field. Terrorized Elway, played like LT
Actually all the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can even bicycle it on dedicated bike paths, although it is nice to have a pick-up arranged at the end. Great on the Harley too
Oh boo hoo, if you don't like the terms don't take the job. No one forces you to play the NFL.
Prove the dead by 55 compared to the rest of the population. I want to see it
According to the story, 1,000 fans sue for $5,000,000. Assume it gets reduced to $2 million. The attorneys get 40% and you get 60% divided by 1,000 tickets, thats $1200, half of what the NFL is currently offering. Lets hear it for lawyers
