Anyone else sick of Eric Wood?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to GrizzlyAdams's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need some country strong athletic mean mofos on this line, I don't think anyone should be safe especially in the interior line. This coming draft and free agency should have a heavy emphasis on rebuilding this whole unit even the bkups need to be replaced. Pears & Hairston will be free agents and Urbik & Williams should be cut. The Bills need to draft Eric Wood replacement this yr and give him a chance to develop for a yr on the bench. EW gets over 4mil per and that's alot for a mid to lower tier center. He's definitely not top notch and if u think so ask yourself when was the last time u said what a block by Wood. He has no power and isn't as agile as he once was before he started getting injured. Let's surround him with 2 capable guards and a new experienced oline coach and we will see if he's the problem. If he is we should have his replacement ready by 2016 -
Ok time to start the off-season
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm so on board with this plan that I would give the Skins a high pk to make this happen. 2nd rounder maybe even a 1st that's how desperate I am. -
First we need the new offensive line coach. Greg Roman or Tony Sparano, then 2 Athletic Guards & step 3 is Cordy & Henderson getting into the gym. C & H both need great off seasons. These 2 guys need some more strength and conditioning. There both to big they need to lose at least 20lbs each. Cordy might need to lose 30lbs. These 2 tackles are horrible in space and can't push anyone in the run gm..

So what your telling me is the Bills lost there biggest gm in over a decade to a 2-12 Raiders team ? Well so much for the culture change, things seem the same around One Billls drive.
-
Are u kidding me, that first pk swung the momentum of the gm in the Raiders direction. The Raiders were ready to pack there bags and head for the beach. If we scored anything on that drive the game would of been over. Like Denny Green used to say, we let em off the hook!

Get it done Whaley.

Orton missed open wrs all day, He missed them short, long every which way. He's a bum, I'd rather start Fitzpatrick or anyone else. I'd even take Cutler over this non athletic QB with no arm. He sucks and yes, yes it was his fault today we lost definitely his fault.

I was watching film of Nassib last night a few things stood out to me. #1 He has different release points with his throwing motion but the ball fires out of his hand very quickly. #2 Shows great anticipation when comfortable in the pocket. #3 Arm strength has improved since college, but still lacks a adequate deep ball. #4 He can make all the throws on intermediate and short routes. #5 He plays with confidence. The Bad #6 He needs to work in his pocket presence. Seems like he tries to get out of the pocket to soon doesnt step up or stand tall. #7 deep ball needs work #8 has touch issues at times #9 tends to make bad decisions when being rushed. Overall I watched his gametape from college to the pros and RN has gotten much better. He kind of reminds of Drew Brees. He has his eyes down the field at all times then he works threw his progression to the checkdown. With some more polishing he can be very good.

Updated: The AFC Playoff Picture

Refs stuck it to us again today, Where was the international grounding call in that last series. Man the NFL needs to hire full time officials asap. -
I am in no way a Nassib guy. The thing is though how do we really know that Marrone didn't want him. It could have been Whaley force feeding Ej on Marrone. The problem was at the time the Bills had Ej, Kolb & Tavaras maybe they didn't want to add another guy to a crowded situation or maybe it was a coddle situation. Adding a guy like Nassib would have put alot of unnecessary attention on Marrone having to answer questions bout the QB situation every time EJ threw a pk. I just don't understand why some people on this board like to assume they know what's going on. The only people that truly know are the coaches and front office people that were in the war room. Now that EJ future isn't looking so bright maybe Marrone asks the front office to make this move. Considering that Nassib knows Hacketts offense like the back of his hand. This could possibly be a sink or swim desperation move by Marrone considering the fact that his ass will be on the chomping block next yr. We've all discussed these QB´s available and one thing is for sure there is no true franchise qbs available. So they could go bk to someone who they had a working relationship with and roll the dice. I guess we will find out soon enough. I am in no way a Nassib guy. The thing is though how do we really know that Marrone didn't want him. It could have been Whaley force feeding Ej on Marrone. Ponder, Yates I mean yikes!!. How bout Matt Moore I'd definitely take him over any of those rejects. I'd even take Matt Moore over Orton. MM is a big strong QB standing at 6-3 230lbs has a nice throwing arm and most of all is a tough minded sob that is not afraid to sling it. MM also has good leadership skills as teammates usually gravitate to him. In 2011, Moore took over a Dolphins team that was 0-7 & won 6 out of 9 to finish the season 6-3 . After that season was over Miami drafted Ryan Tannehill with there new head coach & he was never seen again in the starting lineup. I live in Miami and lots of there fans didn't want to see Tannehill drafted. Even to this day many of there fans call the radio shows and demand Moore gets a chance to lead there team. Now that Moore is gonna be a free agent at 30yrs old he will be looking for a team to go & start. If the Bills can't work out a trade for a better QB or if they trade for someone that's injury prone like Bradford or RG3. I would love to see Matt Moore brought in to bk them up. This move will give us that insurance we need. Even if we can't get another QB let's give this guy a chance. Remember bk in 98 the Bills brought in 2 QB´s Flutie & Johnson. I think it's time we try again 2 new QBs. Let's go Bills!

I completely agree with Kap & Cam, Cutler would be a horrible move but is possible also. The one guy I think would be great but I don't know if it's possible is Philip Rivers. Rivers would be perfect for our team he's well into his 30's with a huge cap figure. It's possible the Chargers start rebuilding and trade him for a couple of firsts before here starts to decline. The question is would we be willing to give the Chargers 2 first round pks?

6th or 7th round pick for Kirk Cousins?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Buffwagonscircled's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love this idea, if we get Bradford I most definitely would like to sign Matt Moore to bk him up. I think Moore would sign here because he would be one Bradford injury away from starting. Moore would be an excellent addition to this team. He has a nice arm and isn't afraid to sling it. He's also a fiery competitor and tough guy. He would complement Bradford perfectly. I would also keep EJ to further develop him as a 3rd string qb with upside. With these additions the Bills will be set for now and possibly the future depending on Ej growth and Bradfords health. -

List of NFL QB's by College Conference
NastyNateSoldiers replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess the question is now who do the Bills go after this off-season #1 Ryan Mallett #2 Matt Moore #3 Keep Orton I would prefer Mallett or Moore over Orton any day. I guess if it was up to me I'd take Moore. Moore is a polished veteren with a nice arm. He's also a fiery tough guy with balls. Yea I said it Balls. We haven't had that in a while at the QB position. MM wouldn't cost much either and is still young at 31yrs of age. If we had to sign a guy it would be him. If we can trade I wouldn't mind Foles, RG3 or Bradford if they were available. Please stay away from Jay Cutler he is horrible to costly cap wise and has zero leadership skills. -
Jason Smith was the 2nd overall pick in 2010, he never amounted to anything, Jason Peters was an undrafted free agent Te converted to Lt by the Bills and is now a borderline Hof player. There is no exact science to this, basically nothing is guaranteed. To be honest I don't think Kujo has any future in the NFL, hopefully im wrong. Last yr in the sugar bowl gm he had his lunch eaten by Erik Striker a 225lb De. Kujo gave up 3sks in that gm and multiple hurries ever since then I hated him. We should of taken Jace Amaro or the Te from Notre Dame.

The Possibly Intriguing QB Trade Market
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Bills Fan since '64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Forget Cutler with his contract we can sign a big time player & trade fir Foles. So for the Cutler fans would u rather have him or Foles & one of the Thomas bros from Denver or Revis ? -
2nd- Draft RB Gurley or Gordon 3rd -TE Nick O´Leary Free Agency Sign TE Jermichael Finley if healthy Sign SS Will Hill Sign 2 Veteran Guards Marcus Cannon & Orlando Franklin Tag Jerry Hughes Last but not least Trade for a QB NICK FOLES OR KAP This is a very logical and realistic off season. Get er done Whaley

Could it the diagrams of the run plays, it seems like there's no separation of our lineman. More teams are running the ball successfully by using more spread looks which we don't employ whatsoever . U don't have to spend lots of money to open holes. Miami is a good example of this they signed two veteran lineman this off-season, Darren Colledge & Samson Satele. Those 2 guys are dime a dozen players and there opening holes in there run gm. Bill Lasor has done a incredible job coaching there offense. Coming up with ways to use the whole field in the run & pass gms. Coaching makes a big difference. The Bills run gm lacks spacing. There formations are all cluttered up near the LOS. I believe if they ran out of some 4wide sets like Philly or Miami the run gm would be a lot better. Last week the Bills finally started running some misdirection plays. It was working well. The problem hear fellas is this offense. No spacing no creativity no style. Just reminds me of 80's football. The Wr´s always seem to be lining up in the same places instead of moving Watkins around getting him away from the #1 cb on the other team. They seem content with making things easier on themselves and with that comes making life easier on the opposition.. Case Closed. The Verdict is guilty of Garbage Coaching on Offense with a Garbage Qb.

I got 2 one for offense & defense. I would love to sign either one. Defense- Revis Island, this signing kills 2 birds with one stone. Revis would make our defense legendary status, Pure shutdown. With Revis & Return of Kiko this D would be scary good. All while hurting the Pats D by stealing there best player. Offense- Julius Thomas, Julius is still very young and would stretch the middle seems and create havoc in the red zone. This signing along with a trade for a QB like Nick Foles would instantly make the Bills offense a 25pt per gm offense. Value free agents I would love to see in a Bills Uni Jermichael Finley- If he's cleared by doctors he can be a steal. Will Hill SS- This guy can hit & cover. Instantly adds another head hunting presence in our secondary.
