Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Booty huh 25gms played 6800yds = 272yds per gm 46tds 17pks 62% completion, this # is lower because the Kid throws downfield alot his intermediate throws and deep balls are something we haven't seen here since Drew Bledsoe was our QB. Foles is definitely not a captain check down type QB. -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are u kidding me Kelly doesn't run read option, Kelly runs a more spread read option, not necessarily the same thing as the 49ers or Hawks. But definitely the same concepts were the QB reads run to bk or runs it himself or passes the ball -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
U might be right they might not trade him. But if he becomes available I say we get it done. Foles is like I said a better much better option then anyone else we have a chance to trade or draft next yr. If these rumors are true bout the Foles losing favor with Chip, he will be available for trade for sure. -

Sometimes it's just a great trade for both teams. Hackett + Foles = Bombs to Watkins -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It makes perfect sense because he's not the prototypical Chip Kelly QB, he's not a dual threat guy. Chip Kelly loves QB´s that can run as well as pass. It opens up his read option attack. Nick Foles before he got injured had 2200yds passing 13tds & 10pks in 7 gms. His pk total went up from last season when he only threw 3 all yr and had nearly 30td passes. Most of his pks came in first 4 gms this yr. After that he got red hot and started putting up some big gms. My point here is why not add a young qb, that has the arm strength and size to flourish in Buffalo. He would also be cheaper & better then the options we will have this upcoming season. Cutler & Eli are getting paid and are on the wrong side of 30. Orton is garbage doesn't have the arm strength for December gms in Buffalo. U want Bradford? Maybe he slips on the same matt as Kolb and breaks his legs. I mean C'mon give me a better realistic option. Ej is the kind of QB Kelly loves, in fact the Eagles were mentioned on plenty of occasions leading up to the draft as a possible landing spot for Ej. I would have to think Chip can coach em up and get a draft pk in return. That would be perfect for both teams. -

He's a pocket passer that can throw a ball 60yds accurately to are star wideout Sammy Watkins. Foles is also a young QB that hasn't reached his potential yet. With him on board I think it will be alot easier to obtain a big name head coach like Cowher or someone else. Nick Foles would definitely be better then any other QB´s we can add this coming off-season. Trading a 3rd & Ej would also be cheap in my opinion. It's worth the risk and has upside to be a steal. -
Word out of Philly is that the Coach & Gm have fallen out of favor with there starting QB Nick Foles even before he injured his shoulder. Remember Chip Kelly didn't draft Nick Foles, he was inherited from the previous regime. Chip Kelly offense needs a mobile QB to truly run his spread offense. The question is now what would it take to trade for Foles, who btw I think would fit perfectly in Buffalo. He's a big strong kid with a cannon arm. There was rumors before last yrs draft that Chip Kelly and the Eagles loved Ej Manual. I would offer Ej and a 3rd for Foles. If that's not enough I would strongly consider giving them our 2nd rounder instead of the 3rd but that's all. I wouldn't be surprised this coming off-season to see this type of trade happen. This is win, win trade for both teams and is very realistic.

Who do you WANT as the Bills coach in 2015?

Joe B has said on a few occasions that it's Marrone philosophy that's keeping Hackett handcuffed. I believe it, Marrone got to go! -

Every coach punts on 4th & short, the problem with our coaching staff now is they don't have the wherewithal to know when u need to go for it. I'm not sure u really have grasp for what the Walrus is as a head coach I think u got him mixed up with the Stache or maybe Juaron. Holmgren has never been know as conservative. He has coached on some of the most explosive offenses in NFL history. I also think it's unfair of people to judge him purely on his time in Cleveland. I'm not asking for Holmgren to be a gm, that's not what he is. He's a great head coach one of the best in the last 25yrs. He rebuilt the Seahawks when they were garbage took a bkup QB like Hasselbeck and turned him into a pro bowler. The biggest problem with the Bills since the end of the 90's was the lack of developing & having that eye for talent. We have a good gm in place now with Whaley now we need the development of these players to be fixed and a guy like Holmgren with an excellent coaching staff will put us in that direction. We have a Whale now we need the Walrus! -

Holmgren is also part of the good ole boy network and he would definitely have respect of the refs moving forward. We need a coach that has those type of connections. I watch alot of football and always see the old school coaches like Belicheck chatting up the refs during the gms. Some of u guys will disagree with me about the refs favoring different head coaches but I think this is very real. Mike Holmgren definitely fits the profile. The Walrus also has a way of developing QB´s and has the track record to prove it. The Bills will be very lucky to pull of this type of hire and we would finally be primed for a true playoff push. -

Trestman is a bona fide stud OC, he would know how to use our weapons perfectly. We sign back Spiller and use him in the mold of Charlie Garner & Forte. Those are 2 bks that Trestman used to perfection. Cj has similar skill sets as those 2 bks and would most likely welcome the opportunity to be coached by Trestman. Forget bout signing him bk with the coaching staff we have in place now. I believe the Bills need to try and build a super staff of coaches. If we hire Holmgren as our consultant. I think he would look at this team and start to drool over the prospects of coaching them. The Walrus has been out of coaching for a couple of yrs and I think he would be energized and ready too return . He would be perfect for this team and has the respect of his peers to form a super staff. I think he would definitely keep our defensive staff in place with Schwartz and Henderson . The Walrus has a connection with Trestman from there 49er days with both having been schooled in the west coast offense. To me this is very possible and realistic & with Pegs running the show money shouldn't be an issue. Head Coach - Mike Holmgren ( The Walrus ) OC - Marc Trestman DC- Jim Schwartz. I would welcome a staff like this any day, One Thing is for sure with this staff the Bills will be ready every week and there 2nd half adjustments will be top notch. -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted for Rex Ryan but he needs to come with a great Oc perhaps Marc Trestman if he becomes available. Plus Rex can bring that great ST coach they have with the Jets, Westoff. That would be a great coaching staff Ryan with Trestman Definitely get the Bills back to the playoffs. My 2nd favorite combo would be Malzone with Schwartz Least favorite is Bowles, I'm not drinking that kool-aid -
Call the Bucs ask bout V Jack he would be perfect compliment to Sammy & Woods, while we're on the phone ask bout the availability of Logan MANKINS I'm sure they would take a 5th for him wright now. Let's trade for V JACK & MANKINS get er done Doug. I'll give them a 3 & 5

Plain & simple 2 things need to happen and we make the playoffs barring of course injuries. #1 - Cut down on turnovers, we need to protect the ball because our D is good enough to keep us in games. Recently we have been turning over the ball way to often and we are still competitive threw out our games. That's a great sign and even better if we limit these costly turnovers. #2 Cut down on penalties, The players need to be more accountable for themselves. Focus more and stay within the game. Good teams, playoff teams don't kill themselves with costly mistakes over & over. Bad personal fouls at the wrong times. Holding guys that are nowhere near the play needs to stop. All in all even with the lack of talent that we have on our oline if we limit the Turnovers & Penalties. This team will make those playoffs I guarantee it. Hopefully we beat the Jets so we can head into the bye working on accountability and our oline. Let's go Bills!

The Chargers Oline were holding all day
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, There's plenty of threads discussing multiple topics on this site, You have a choice to read it or not I can care less. But there's some people on this board that just can't get enough of themselves they got to criticize every misspelled word like some type of English teachers. I guess you have no life or something. I'm sure that most the people that read my post didn't care bout misspelled words or even my point of the topic. I was just shedding some light on something that bothered me all week. I wanted to see who else noticed the referees bias towards the Bills. Notice that I said a few times during my messages that I've been watching football for almost 30yrs and that I understood the difference between holding and refs just blatantly turning the other cheek. In this case it was blatant because they couldn't even make one call when needed. This makes a difference in the game believe it or not. If the refs don't call back those 2 big plays we had who knows how the game turns out. Or even if they make a call on that 3rd quarter drive the Chargers scored on it could of made a big difference in the game. The NFL is a league of parity so it makes a big difference when there's a disparity between calls on opposite sides of the game. Sometimes that's all it takes, that's the difference in the game and it's not fair to the fans. I know its not an exact science in terms of the officials getting it right or wrong but with my experience in watching games I can see there's not a level playing field. I don't know bout you guys but whenever the Bills make a big play I honestly wait for at least 10seconds afterwards to celebrate because it always seems like the officials are gonna throw a late flag or something. I've seem it far to many times. Btw I got 4games going at once in my household 4tvs going. I watch alot of football and believe me the Bills have and always been officiated differently. -
The Chargers Oline were holding all day
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I definitely seen these holds watching the gm live but I always go bk and rewatch the gms a couple times via shortcuts and it was abundantly clear that the refs were not calling the holds against us.Especially in that first drive of the 3rd quarter there was at least 5-6 holds in that drive alone. Ive been watching Football long enough to know when it's just missed call by refs or it was straight up non calls. In this case the refs put away there whistles and flags. I don't want to take anything away from the Chargers there a well oiled machine that makes u play there gm. McCoy has so far proven he can do a lot more with alot less then Marrone in there brief coaching careers. -
The Chargers Oline were holding all day
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
U guys might think I'm crazy but I got great way the NFL can fix this issue of holding. It's called technology yes put sensors in these guys jerseys from front to bk. At halftime the refs can look at a chart to see who exactly has been holding more then usual and that can help them watch these players during the 2nd half a little more. It would even bettter if these sensors can basically make the call for the refs. It's just an idea but with all the technology we have nowadays the NFL needs to look into at least doing something like this. They can even test it out during the preseason and practices intil they master the system. This can basically get rid of holding for good.. -
The Chargers Oline were holding all day
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm telling u man Orhenberger, Reinhardt & Dunlap were clearly getting away with holding.. All day it very very frustrating too watch. Bills Dline was putting there arms up.in frustration also inn plenty of occasions during that gm to no avail Exactly I think the Chargers coaches tell these guys to hold on every play. They have taken a page from the Seahawks philosophy of hold to they call it with there D bks but instead with.the Chargers oline.. -
The Chargers Oline were holding all day
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Penalties Chargers 6-44 with no offensive holding calls. While the Bills were called 11-110. That's a big discrepancy. Especially when factor in the yards that we lost on those call bks on those big plays for Spiller & Woods. Those were momentum killers. As revered as our Dline is one of the best in the league I'm surprised bout this lack of holding calls not even one.. I've been watching Football for nearly 30yrs I definitely know the difference between missing a call and just blatant no calls by refs. I this case it was blatant. I challenge anyone on this board to go bk and watch King Dunlap vs Hughes or there guards vs our Dt's it was ridiculous what they were getting away with multiple hugs holds tackling u name it they got away with it... I'm not an excuse maker but I had to say something because it's been bothering me ask week. -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not saying it was fixed, I'm just trying to figure out why the Chargers oline was aloud to hug our defenders like a teddy bear. I watched the gm multiple times on short cuts and it's very frustrating to see no calls when.people.are aloud to hold like.this. Makes u start to question things a little bit. I can even go bk and give u the time & plays that these holds were taking place -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously u don't re-watch the gm like I do. If u have shortcuts or even the full recording of the game I challenge u you to go bk and pay attention to the Chargers oline vs Bills dline. U will see what I'm talking bout. -
Idk if anyone else really noticed all the HOLDING that was going on between the trenches but it seemed like the Chargers oline was not just trying to block the Bills defenders but we're also trying to date them as well. I seen at least 15 plays where there Oline was hugging either Kyle, Dareus or Hughes. It was ridiculous how many times they got away with it on 3rd downs. It was almost like the refs gave them a holding pass before the gm even started. Mof they weren't even called once the whole gm for holding while on the flip side every time the Bills made a big play it was coming bk. I'm just saying something was fishy bout the gm from the get go as the Chargers threw 2 illegal pk plays on there scoring drive. These pks weren't your typical pks they were while the ball was in the air. Could all this have something to do with the point spread starting at pk em and moving to Bills -2. All the money was on the Bills seemed like a trap to me.. I could be wrong but I was wondering if anyone else seen all these non calls that I feel affected the gm in a big way?

Why does the defense continue to get a pass?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Jrock's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want to give the Defense a pass but did anyone see all the HOLDING the Chargers were getting away with for 3 full Quarters of the game. Orhengerger was tackling Kyle & Dareus all day plus Dunlap was hugging Hughes so much that it looked like they were slow dancing. I watched the game twice and I must of seen at least 20 holding calls that weren't called. Especially on 3rd downs. The FIX was in... Mof the Chargers oline were never called for holding the whole gm. Also every time we made a play on offense it seemed like it was called bk. Spiilers run play and Woods run and catch both calls took us out of scoring range and killed drives. Im just saying the spread opened at pk em abs went to Buff -2 all the money was on the Bills
