  1. I just watched some Preseason footage of Tyrod Taylor he looks like a fit in Romans scheme for sure, While watching, Jon Gruden & Ray Lewis had some really good things to say bout TT. Ray Ray even said Tyrod was the steal of the draft that yr. Ray went on to say that Taylor is very impressive and he called him the human highlights film. I wouldn't mind this move but only if it comes with another signing like Matt Moore. MM should be signed to be our insurance plan.I think MM can be the Alex Smith of Romans Offense there skill sets are similar. If TT or EJ don't pan out we got a guy with experience that can take the reins. TT won't break the bank should be looking to sign with us for cheap figuring he can steal the job from Ej. So with that said I'm cool going into training camp with EJ, Matt Moore & Taylor battling it out. I know this isn't sexy but what choice do we have barring some miracle trade for Big Ben or Brees. This is realistic and has potential to be a steal.
  2. I applaud the Bills for this signing, but let's not stop here when it comes to the line we still need 1 maybe 2 more additions to this line. Let's cut bait with Urbik, C Williams & Pears and go hard after Boiling & RT Parnell from Dallas those 2 guys would be great additions to this team at a good reasonable price. I think Parnell won't get more then 3yr 10mil and Boiling probably 4 yrs 16-20 mil. If we can't get Boiling I would love to sign Jahri Evans once he gets cut from the Saints. Evans is the kind of road grader Roman & Kromar love. New starting line Cordy, Boiling/Evans, Wood, Incognito, Parnell. . That's Bully!
  3. With Gilmore we have the same option (5th yr) we had with Dareus. The Bills have until may to exercise this option if not he becomes free agent in 2016.
  4. First of all Kendricks is a great blocker and pretty good Red zone target. Gilmore has 2 yrs remaining with team option. Yes I might of low balled a couple of guys but that's the value I feel is safe for those players. I don't think Ap will get anything over 5mil. Murray was just offered 4 yrs 16 mil from Dallas. Hardy won't get paid but doesn't mean he will come to Buffalo either. This was my dream scenario I would be happy with half these guys.
  5. We should first & foremost call every team bout possible availability of there QB, if for some reason a guy like Big Ben is up for discussion. I wouldn't have a problem giving them 3 firsts no problem. Even Captain Phillip I'd give them 2 firsts. But those guys won't be available so we got to scrap the bottom of the free agent barrel see what we can get
  6. If u really think about it's not that much. It could be 1yr deal for Locker if he pans out he can get paid if not have a nice day. Moore can be signed to be a backup option just in case EJ or Locker don't work out. I don't think either one is a long term answer but having depth can be good for competition.
  7. Gilmore still has at least 2 yrs left, Cordy ain't with a dollar over 6 mil per season at best especially if he plays like he did last yr. Bradham shouldn't break the bank either. Iupati 8mil per Boiling 4.5 mil per Parnell 3 mil per Top notch FB no more then 2 mil JC 4 mil or JT possibly 7 mil. We targeting only one of these guys. 33 yr old David Harris 3.5 mil per Hardy shouldn't get more then 5 mil on 1yr prove it deal. Spiller 3 mil per Ap or Murray 5 mil per. Lance Kendricks 2.5 mil We can cut Urbik, Rivers, C Williams. Don't resign Pears, Hairston. Freddy comes off the books next yr. I wouldn't worry bout signing people back until the time comes in which we can open up more space by redo Mario Deal and others. Remember we have an owner now that doesn't mind paying upfront. No more cash to cap philosophy. Btw we should be upwards of 40 mil under the cap with the roll over. We have plenty money. This is my dream off season but like u said I would be happy if we can get half these guys
  8. #1 sign both Locker & Matt Moore to compete with EJ for starting QB. #2 Let Hughes walk & sign Greg Hardy for half the price on a 1yr prove it deal. #3 Cut Keith Rivers & Sign David Harris to play next to Kiko #4 Resign Spiller & Go hard after either Ap or Demarco Murray. #5 Sign one of the top FBs available Felton, Hynoski or Kuhn #6 Cut Urbik, C Williams and sign Boiling, Iupati and Rt Parnell from the Dallas kid is a beast can be had for cheap. #7 Resign Searcy #8 Sign either Jordan Cameron or Julius Thomas also add Te from STL Lance Kendricks, These 2 signings would give us a excellent 3 TE set with Chandler, Kendricks and either JC or JT. #9 Draft best player available in all rounds. If WR Doran Green Beckham is available I would take him at #50. With these moves the Bills will be ready to compete for division right away. All these moves wouldn't be mind blowing big money signings. Yes Iupati, JT or one of the rbs probably cost some dough but the rest of the guys can fit in nicely into our cap.
  9. We should sign both Jake Locker & Matt Moore. Make it 3 way battle for starter, EJ, Moore & Locker
  10. Applause hooray, I thought I was the only one that sees this stuff. Omg the holding, it's incredible what the Pats get away with. Btw what stopped u from mentioning the TUCK RULE! That is like the billboard of the NFL love for these cheaters.
  11. I wouldn't mind bringing in Hardy & Ap, these players make us better and hopefully they learned from there mistakes. Adding Hardy can save us at least 5 mil instead of resigning Hughes and he's a better all round player. Ap is a freak of nature and would flourish in Roman scheme. The Pats & Bengals have been living off second chance players for yrs now. Sometimes it works for both the player and the teams that sign them. Ap & Hardy are well liked & respected teammates in there locker room. They are not cancers to there teams. Sign me up for both of them.
  12. [3yrsl name=TheTruthHurts" post="3451860" timestamp="1423125091] They didn't draft him so now after sitting they would think he is better than EJ? Highly unlikely. Times change people change opinions change Ryan Nassib has been said to have developed very well playing behind Eli Manning he's young athletic and has a lighting quick release. Nassib just might be the fit that Greg Roman is looking for if anything he should be brought in to compete with EJ. I think he would be better then anyone of those other QBs that have already had there chances. Ryan Nassib is a mobile QB that can go vertical. What would u rather have Jake the Hurt Locker or Matt i haven't played in 3yrs Moore.
  13. Ryan Nassib is gonna be the guy. He's someone no one is talking about. Plus has sat and learned for 2 yrs and has played very well in the preseason.
  14. What I understand is it's a domestic dispute, he didn't kill her did he? No. Was she afraid for her life yes. Now if the NFL let's him come back I think that's enough for me. Maybe he learned his lesson. Maybe the Pats pk him up and he becomes man of the yr. So if we pk him up for cheap on a 1 yr deal I think it's worth the risk.
  15. He must not be that bad if they allow him to return to the NFL, he paid his dues sat for a yr now he deserves another chance.
  16. Im hearing Greg Hardy can be had for cheap on a 1 yr prove it deal. I think he'd love to play with this D cause it's good business considering all the one on one's he'll be getting. This can be lethal sign Revis & Hardy. TRADE Mckelvin for draft pk.
  17. Nobody absolutely Nobody is gonna pay him that kind of money. He's gonna get bout 13mil a yr tops.
  18. I see your Hughes and raise u a Greg Hardy for half the price on a 1 yr prove it deal for 5 mil. Now with that 5 mil savings and trading McKelvin for a pk in the draft we save another 5 mil that frees up 10mil for Revis. Add a couple more million make it bout 13 a yr for Revis and our D just got substantially better. Including that 3rd Rd pk for Mck. We can use that pk on a guard, Rb or a Te. Greg Hardy can definitely be had and is not gonna sign a long term deal. He'd probably cherry pk our D to play with so he can be freed up for one on one's all day. IDk bout u but Hardy looked like one of the best DE's in the league in 2013 he's an upgrade over Hughes any day. He's complete package run stuffer and a havoc in pass rush. Essentially we just traded Hughes & McKelvin for Hardy,Revis & a 3rd round pk. Yea we had to pay a little more to get it done but how much better did we just get if we were able to pull this off. Who wouldn't sign on for this scenario? Plus we still have money to fix the offense.
  19. Lynch or Ap would be a great fit in Romans scheme, I hope we get a true workhorse back this off-season. How would feel of we also added Greg Hardy on a cap friendly one yr prove it deal to replace Hughes, We can get Hardy & Revis for combined 17-18 mil. This would be much better then Hughes & Mckelvin for a combined 16mil ?
  20. I think his age matches up perfectly with our window with this team presently constructed. 3yr 45 mil should get the deal done. Guaranteed money is what players are looking for nowadays so if we offer him 25 million he will take it. There is no QB on this team or in free agency that gonna tie up our cap space anytime soon. So the next most logical way of building your team is by making everyone better around the QB. Adding Revis won't stop us from building our oline and RB core. We already have a young inexpensive wr core that is on the verge of being top notch. All we need now is a TE which we can add via free agency or the draft. With a couple of additions to this offense and the stellar D we will have we can compete for the title I'm on board. Get er done Dougie!
  21. Think about it this way fellas, What would the addition of Revis do for this Defense & team in general. I think if it was a stock it would sky rocket. Imagine the pressure it puts on opposing teams offense. Revis gives u that Dominick Hasek presence gets in your opposing teams heads. I guess the Bills thinking with this possible addition is they want to level the playing field and make the QB position irrelevant. If we can make your QB look bad we have the advantage because we are building ourselves to win without that franchise QB. The more I think of this the more it seems like a genius plan.
  22. I can't understand why we can't add other pieces to this team if we sign Revis. U guys have been losing for so long that u just think players come one at a time. We have cap space right now nearly 40 mil with the roll over. Yes we need to resign Dareus I agree and that should be our #1 goal right now. But this team has some dead weight that can be cut so we can even open up more cap space. Chris Williams, Rivers & trading McKelvin can free up even more money. Fellas the Grinch has left the building it's a new era at One Bills Dr get used to it. Believe it if we sign Revis more will come soon after. The future is now Revis will be 30 when next season begins and he coincides with our 3yr window for this team. If he signs a 3 yr deal at 40 mil it's definitely worth it. Btw to all we want is to sign big name guys cause that's all we know fans. I'm definitely not one of them. I know just about every player in the NFL. I know the difference between top 5 and elite Defense. As of now we are top 5 but with the addition of Revis & a healthy Kiko we are elite. So that makes the whole team better. Just ask Seattle fans what elite can do. There D opens things up for there Offense it allows them to play with balls. That's something we haven't seen here in a while. I'm definitely on board with adding to a strength to achieve greatness. Same people that talk negative bout this possible signing will be the first ones to love it when they see it hit the field. Have vision fellas and let Pegs worry bout the money. I can't understand why we can't add other pieces to this team if we sign Revis. 23. I beg to differ, adding Revis would put our Defense on another stratosphere. Please don't compare Revis to any of our corners just not fair to him. Imagine what type of blitzes we can send when we have a couple of shutdown corners. With the addition of Revis and Kiko this defense won't give up more then 13-14 a gm.
  24. Really man, did u know Allah is just the Arabic word for God. Christian Arabs call God Allah. Btw Allah doesn't condone murder of any people. Doesn't matter what there beliefs are.
  25. This would be my perfect scenario in upcoming Draft 2nd round either Gurley or Gordon falls in our laps. Then trade back into 2nd with 3 & 4 and select Clive Walford.
