  1. Searcy was huge loss
  2. The problem isn't our DLine it's the scheme there playing. It's vanilla as can be. No Stunts , No spacing, the blitzes are horribly conservative and seems like they've been figured out. The talent is definitely there even without Mario. Watching these playoff games I learned 3 Things #1 - The need for a team to be disciplined and professional #2- The need for true Safeties not corners playing safety. #3- The need to have a balance of pass rushing calls meaning sending Stunts, Blitzes and proper spacing at the right times depending on down and distance. These 3 things the Bills lack by a wide margin I'm hoping there watching and taking notes.
  3. I'm not saying he can't be good, what I'm saying is no thanks to a high pk id start looking at him in the 6th rd.. Btw I watched some of his film and it's not impressive. Please spare me the comparison to Ben or Flacco for every one of them there's 50 other guys that are trash.
  4. That's like saying this dude nailed Jennifer Lopez and Megan Fox but after that settled for bar crumbs , The man still nailed those 2. All the while we have been settling for bar crumbs, C'MON Man!
  5. If he's highlights include trees and bleachers in the background I'll pass until the end of the draft, no thanks
  6. I beg to differ the offensive side of the ball has some great coaches even better then our Defense has with Roman, Lynn, Kromor, Palmer, Lee & Sanjay Lal that,s definitely better then Rex, Thurman, Henderson and Dunbar obviously the D needs a little tinkering. I'm talking bout adding a great mind to help this D a older guy like Lebeau is probably not looking to run a D anymore as a DC but he might be a great Linebacker coach / D Quality control coach.. Having great minds helps they just have to be willing to work with one another for the betterment of the team. This would be much different then if Schwartz had stayed. Lebeau and Rex coach the same type of concepts as far 3-4 Zone Blitz scheme. Rex and Schwartz would of been a whole different situation
  7. Rex would be an idiot to not want a coach like Lebeau on his staff the man brings a ton of experience and would help with the teaching the players techniques and can show him a thing or 2 bout zone blitz concepts.
  8. Now that the Off Season has officially started for us and most of the NFL how can the Bills get better this off season without much cap space? With most head coaching searches under way it looks like teams are learning towards younger more youthful coaching candidates. With that being said Tom Coughlin and Dick Lebeau 2 HOF type coaches are available for hire and are looking to get in somewhere in some capacity. Should the Bills look to hire one of these HOF caliber coaches to our staff ? Maybe as assistant head coach or some other label like Coach Palmer has on offense as Quality control coach. I would love to see the Bills bring in one of these men they bring in tons of experience that can help mold us into more of a complete team. Tom Coughlin would be a great asset to Rex Ryan as he can help him with game planning in game adjustments and other things such as holding his players accountable and adjusting himself as a head coach. TC is a well rounded coach that has experience and understands offense and defense philosophies as well as special teams. TC would be a perfect compliment to Rex. Dick Lebeau would also be a great hire as he can help with the Defense, DL is the master of the zone blitz and Rex can learn a lot from him. The biggest benefit of this hire would be the teaching of these schemes to the players. DL has a way of simplifying these schemes to the players so they can play fast and physical. Believe it or not DL and RR have a ton in common in there schemes as they both run a 3-4 hybrid with a ton of blitz concepts. This combination of coaching would be great to see on sundays. So fellas who would like to see one of these men get hired by the Bills and who would u rather have?
  9. I'm hearing he's in great shape and focused but the Browns might be ready to part ways with him anyways. If They hire Maroone i wonder if he would take a player or 2 from us Mario and Graham, Cleveland D is horrible and can use a good corner like Graham to start opposite of Haden and a pure pass rusher like Mario. This would be great because we would essentially be giving them a couple players we were going to cut anyways and by trading these players it frees up even more cap space. Btw the Browns have a really hard time picking up top level free agents so this might be a move that makes sense for them.
  10. If the Bills can take a chance on Incog and Percy then they can definitely take a chance on DW and JG. From what I read on multiple sites both have cleaned up there acts and paid there dues missing nearly 2 yrs each. These additions would allow us to focus on other needs during draft. Maybe trade bk stock up a few 2's and let Whaley work his magic. I would take Sua Cravens and Jaylon Kearse in the 2nd round. Adding Ultra Talented players like DW and JG would in my opinion put the Bills back in the playoffs and also frees up money to resign Incog and Glenn. I would love this If I had to choose one of these 2 players it would definitely be Washington, He's a perfect LB for Rex scheme . Sidelines to sidelines tackling machine that can cover( 3ints )and blitz( 9Sks) from the middle backer spot. That's the type of player Ryan needs to set his D off!
  11. Now that the Bills have become the standard when it comes to rejuvenating a broken career (Ritchie Incognito) I got 2 new additions to the Bills rehab clinic over at one Bills drive. As of right now these 2 players have not been reinstated but if and when they do I would love to see them wearing a Bills uniform 2016. These 2 players are not locker room misfits or bad team players. They have or had a Mary Jane problem. So chemistry shouldn't be an issue unless there smoking it. Lol #1- MLB Daryl Washington - I realize he hasn't played since 2013 but this dude would easily be the best LB we had here since Takeo Spikes. In 2013 Washington had a monster season with over 130 tackles, 9 Sacks, 3 ints and 2 FFs . That's a beast right there. Btw fits a major hole on our D playing MLB. #2- WR Josh Gordon - Most if not all remember what this kid can do on the field when he's playing focused football. JG possesses a blend of speed and athleticism they few Wrs have in this league and would be a perfect complement to Sammy on the outside. From what I heard these players teams are ready to move on from these guys when there reinstated. I don't think it would cost much to trade for these guys either . The Browns have some secondary prbs we can offer McKelvin or Graham and even throw in Mario for good measure I'm pretty sure the Browns have the cap space to fit Mario plus they don't get much attention by players in free agency so this would be ideal for them. Plus I would definitely get a kick out of Mario being sent to NFL Siberia! Lol. Daryl Washington just send the Cards a late round pk and u should have a deal. I know Im dreaming right? Well that's what the off season is 4 , lol
  12. OPERATION DEMORALIZE BUFFALO! ( BILLS AND FANS ) AN NFL CONSPIRACY OR NOT? #1 - GIVE THEM A DAUNTING SCHEDULE FULL OF OBSTACLE COURSES! A - Give the Bills a front loaded home schedule starting with the AFC Championship teams ( Indy & Pats ) B - Within that Home Schedule we insert 3gms in first 5weeks against extra rested teams. Giving great coaches Like Belicheck and Coughlin extra time to prepare. C - Add a Massive Road Gm stretch 5 out of 6 gms with primetime gms on the road against division opponents ( Jets and Pats ). #2- Flags, Flags and more Flags. During Operation Demoralize especially at the beginning of the season the flags were flying from the skies like white phosphorus falling over Gaza. This Flag fest made the Bills play on there heels as if they were walking on egg shells that were already cracked. Instead of doing film work in preparation of upcoming opponents the Bills were doing pushups and looking at bracelets with slogans on them. #3 - Just give it to them I'm not gonna get into full detail of what just give it to them meant but plays that were iffy like the pass interference call on Robey vs the Jags. Marvin Jones catch that hit the floor vs Bengals or Chris Hogans catch vs Chiefs, Dennards int in Giants gm he was clearly out of bounds are just examples of plenty of 50/50 calls that ended up going against us. Well if anyone got anything else to add to Operation Demoralize please feel free to....
  13. I say do it, yes its a distraction but if the NFL asks us again to do it i say listen this time. Last off-season the Bills pissed off the NFL a few times. We proceeded to be the highest penalized team in the NFL. I'm not sure if these are the reasons. I realize that we as a team had a lot to do with this but it sure seemed like we were being attacked by the refs in the early going of the season. I called it Operation Demoralize. #1 REX using the word BULLY #2 Bills cancel Toronto series #3 Bills turn down NFL twice for Hard Knocks Its time to listen when the NFL asks us to do something its time to mend the fences. LOL
  14. Sign Ryan Mallett for cheap seems like he's cleaned up his act. Has played very good for the Ravens these last couple of weeks. This can be a low risk high reward type of signing
  15. i would love Mike Williams WR Clemson 6/4 220. If he checks out medically i would definitely consider him in the 2nd or 3rd round. this dude is a stud hopefully he declares. I also love Tyler Boyd from Pitt
  16. This is what we need, mentally crush them for next season.
  17. If u add in all the injuries we suffered this season we are nowhere near as talented as last season.
  18. Rex needs to take responsibility for this mess, at some pt this off-season he needs to announce that he's taking over the D this coming season meaning he'll be the defacto HC/DC. Game planning , play calling , substitutions all on him. Rex needs to realize that his ship is sinking so to speak and he the Captain has to take control or watch it fall. His job is at stake can't have another season in 2016 be lost due to his D. I realize some people on this board might not like this idea because of the added responsibility HC/DC but some of the best coaches in the NFL pull this off on a week to week basis. Rex being in full control of the D is the most realistic option we have . Face it fellas we're not changing this D nor is Pettine or anyone else walking threw those doors at One Bills Drive anytime soon.
  19. This Offseason Whaley will direct his scouts and other pro personal people to find young hungry bargain basement players in free agency. With that being said players to keep an eye on for the Bills. #1- WR Brain Quick - This kid intrigues me he's big, fast, strong 26yrs 6-3 218lbs. In 2014 BQ was on his way developing into the Rams #1 WR until he suffered a season ending knee injury in week 7. BQ missed training camp and otas and wasn't healthy until bout week 4-5 of 2015 season. Since his return BQ hasn't been a factor in the Rams offense. Possibly due to him missing all off-season activities and still not being 100% healthy or confident in his abilities. Most times players take an extra yr to fully return to form. This kid fits the mold of what the Bills will be looking for this off-season and I hope he BQ and the Bills find common ground as the Bills will have an opening at #2-3 Wr and BQ will be looking for an opportunity to get in a rotation somewhere on a 1yr prove it deal for near veterans minimum. #2-TE Ladarius Green- Big 6-6 250 lbs Fast seam stretching TE with ball skills also a competent blocker. LG would be a great fit in Romans offense and even better complement to Clay as #2 TE. LG has some injury concerns also so his price tag would be on cheap side but idk if we can get him unless we overpay. The Pats would actually be a perfect team for this kid if he chooses to go somewhere that gets his career on track. #3-TE Dwayne Allen - A powerful in line old school type of TE with ball skills and very athletic DA will not be a secret in free agency. After seeing what Lee Smith got from the Raiders last yr DA can command that and even more. I hope the Bills take a hard look at him even if we have to pay 5mil per season.
  20. let some other team have him then. He'll be cut in 2yrs and we can bring him by for veterans minimum. I'm tired of middle pack players getting paid and not performing. Cordy ain't worth a single dollar over 9mil per season and that's at the highest. Bills need to keep doing what they've been doing recently with there free agents draw your line in the sand and stand by it Whaley
  21. It's not the end of the world that the Bills don't have much money to spend. I'm looking forward to us looking for value guys. I've been watching football for a very long time and correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like when u pay these guys or bring in big name free agents for big bucks they hardly ever live up to there end of the deal. So with that being said let's find the diamonds in the bargain bin. We need some hungry players that want to eventually get paid. Ala Taylor, Gilislee, etc etc
  22. Kelvin Beachum and Keleci Osemele are my favorites on this list
  23. No way we pay Cordy that much 11-13 mil per season. He's not top 12 either more like 18-20 range. He's a solid middle of the pack guy. For 12mil I'm letting him walk and I hope the Bills have enough sense to do this. In my opinion I think he should get a Veldeer type deal which is good money 5yrs-40-45 tops 8-9per. If not have a nice day. It's a good yr for tackles in the Draft I rather go that route
