  1. If they fire Granato who is interim HC? I don't think they can possibly promote from within. Is Ted Nolan available to come back for 6 months and then get fired again? Power had an absolutely brutal night. As did Tage, Tuch, and fourth line. That was one of the worst performances I have witnessed in this era of futility.
  2. The Chargers had little to lose last week and they got beat 63-21.
  3. The principle of only watching the NFL on network TV or streaming services you already subscribe to or offer free trials and oh yeah, I'll be back next week...is a hell of a cause. Keep up the good fight.
  4. His window opens up now. Bills have 21 days to add him to the roster beginning today, I believe.
  5. The point is you are actively choosing not to watch the game. For the first time in 27 years you are choosing to miss a critical game and your protest is totally in vain since you'll be back in week 17 and 18 and every week after that until your outrage consumes you.
  6. Miami hasn't beaten a winning football team since Buffalo lost half their team to dehydration last September.
  7. Show a little respect to Turk Schonert. The William Henry Harrison of OCs.
  8. The defense has found its footing again after reeling for a few weeks in the absence of Milano, DaQuan, and Tre.
  9. The Bucs are not a pushover but I agree, seems unlikely. The Jags are on a 3 game losing streak with losses to the Browns and Bengals featuring backup QBs. I don't have a high degree of confidence in Jax.
  10. Pick the rest of the season for the contending teams in the AFC: Schedule Team Wins Losses Week 16 Week 17 Week 18 Baltimore 11 3 49ers Miami Steelers Picksburgh 7 7 Bungles Seattle Ravens Bungles 8 6 Steelers Chiefs Browns Browns 9 5 Texans Jests Bungles Miami 10 4 Dallas Ravens Bills Buffalo 8 6 Chargers Pats Miami Colts 8 6 Falcons Raiders Texans Texans 8 6 Browns Titans Colts Jags 8 6 Bucs Panthers Titans Kansas City 9 5 Raiders Bungles Chargers Denver 7 7 Pats Chargers Raiders Template: Team Wins Losses Week 16 Week 17 Week 18 Wins Losses Ravens 11 3 Picksburgh 7 7 Bungles 8 6 Browns 9 5 Miami 10 4 Buffalo 8 6 Colts 8 6 Texans 8 6 Jags 8 6 Kansas City 9 5 Denver 7 7
  11. Promoting the league's hottest offensive coordinator to lead your defense is some out of the box thinking.
  12. I don't think its learning. Last year, we couldn't run on a 3 man box. The OL got no push. With some upgrades to the line we have some push and Cook is seeing big lanes opening up. Now defenses need to choose how they want to get beat.
  13. In fairness, so does Tua. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cupc6i4IDpv/
  14. Hard to "keep hold" of something you never had.
  15. They estimate the super bowl brings about a million people to town over the 2 week spectacle. Its not just players, media, and fans. Everyone who is anyone is there. Queen Latifah? You bet your ass shes there. Steve Guttenberg? Hell yeah. Ringo Starr? Quite possibly. There are parties all week, events, concerts, pop up clubs and restaurants. The NFL has an interactive experience near their media setup that claims multiple city blocks. Uber drivers come in from all over the nation to work. And the whores! Good god man, the whores, they're everywhere!! I love you, Buffalo, but you're just not ready for primetime.
  16. There is nothing of any significance within 40 miles of Buffalo. Look at a map. https://milesofme.com/buffalo-ny/40
  17. What are these populated areas within 40 miles of the Buffalo metro area you speak of?
  18. Batavia, Lockport, Medina, Pembroke, Corfu, and Lewiston have at least 30 more rooms between them. Whats that take us to? Attica has a lot of housing.
  19. The same thing the locals do. Find a warm place to get stupid drunk and wish you were somewhere else.
  20. We HOPE it explains a lot. He was already sliding down the depth chart before he was injured if I recall correctly. McDermott doesn't make IR decisions. That is Beane's responsibility.
  21. An off night cannot be 50% of all nights. Its not like its been good effort and a few mental lapses to give up soft goals like last year or the old script where they give up a goal and then the wheels come off for 5 minutes before composure returns. They are so flat coming out of the gate that they're getting shelled and the game is essentially lost in the opening period. Dahlin and Peterka played one of the worst shifts I have witnessed on the second goal. Dahlin is far too experienced to continue to be giving up these WTF type goals. He turned the puck over like 5 times on that shift and Peterka tried to outdo him.
  22. It was the standard script. Go down early and give up a nearly insurmountable lead. Then decide to start looking like an NHL team after going down 3-0. Make it a game with a nice goal and start to give fans hope that an inspired comeback is taking place. Squander a few prime scoring chances, do nothing on the PP. Give up a goal early in the 3rd period to put the game out of reach. These starts are so consistently poor that I don't even know what to take away from strong second periods. The game dynamics are totally changed once a team goes up 3-0. I doubt they are playing as hard up 3 as they are up 2 or less. Do you get credit for making some games interesting after not just shooting but totally blowing your own foot off in the first period? Its like mounting a comeback against prevent defense after the game is basically out of reach.
  23. Pretty sure we ran one to Cook last weekend. Pressure slid through, blocking was all setup, and Cook took it for an 8 yard gain. 6:18 remaining in the second half, right before the interception. It did not look like a dump off to me but I could be mistaken.
