  1. Browns are exactly like the Jets. Have been all year except for Watson's 2 good games. They barely outscored the Stillers.
  2. The Browns beat Baltimore with Watson at QB. The Browns are playing their 3rd string QB. I don't see a lot of wins in their future.
  3. High powered? That has not been my observation. They are 16th in total TDs scored this season.
  4. Back in the day you could buy a house and a few acres of land for a bushel of huckleberries. We didn't have to live right on the street. A man could support a family of 13 on a single unskilled manufacturing wage. People were much tougher back then. This generation is soft.
  5. Its barely a story today even with 24/7 digital media. In the linked article no player even complained or discussed the cold shower. The Commanders spokesperson reported the stadium malfunction. You are simply looking for an opportunity to launch into a well rehearsed rant about the downfall of western society. These guys sit in ice baths and cryo freeze themselves to recover. Back in your day they smoked a pack of Marb Reds and drank a 12 pack of Billy Beer. You really think they can't handle a little cold?
  6. Deriving your self worth from your ability to withstand cold temperatures as a child is an interesting perspective and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
  7. We are falling behind to cold water countries!!!
  8. Nice day for Buffalo sports. Cozens needs to get it going. He and Tuch will need to pick up the slack left by Tage's absence. It would be nice to get anything out of 4th line. Krebs, Jost, Girgs, and Okposo getting outproduced by most of our defenseman. https://www.espn.com/nhl/team/stats/_/name/buf/buffalo-sabres
  9. And if the pressure gets there quickly that is usually a good outcome for the defense...sack or no sack. Weird, I know.
  10. Frazier is a class act. He was never going to trash McD or the team.
  11. Most of them took the jab and its no surprise. As always DYOR YMMV IMO just sayin
  12. A chant strikes me as more mid positive. Lets not risk it. Maybe a slow clap?
  13. By as many as 2 points or as few as negative 3 points.
  14. Are you suggesting that NFL coaches aren't democratically elected officials?
  15. I would say hes a football coach. If the rest of you nutjobs want to see him tried at the Hague that is your prerogative.
  16. Teams that miss the playoffs universally experience adversity. Maybe the secret ingredient was bad football all along! We'd already have a few lombardis if losing bred success.
  17. The only business decision Moss ever forced was trading his ass outta Buffalo.
  18. JP Losman, naked bootleg right. A first down ends the game. Running 3 times and punting might win most of the time, or gets you to OT. Bills are gashing NYJ with the run. The only thing you can't do is fumble. Losman fumbles and the Jets scoop and score to win. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/281214020 Also, the Hail Murray
  19. If the offense starts clicking, all will be well in the world. Maybe not the middle east, but whatcha gonna do?
  20. Players aren't focused and executing. Major undisciplined mistake to lose another game. Diggs drama to begin the year, wondering what will be different. There were rumors last year that going into the Divisional round the defense had no faith in the game plan. Nobody looks like they are enjoying football this year. This team used to have fun. Evidence is mounting that whatever McD's message may be, its not being received and players are discontent.
  21. In general, I agree with much of this. But that was not the story Monday night and one look at the drive chart for Denver shows how badly the offense ***** the bed. 1st Half: Offense gifts the Broncos points on first play of the game. Defense holds Denver to a field goal. Offense at least flips the field before turning the ball over again on the next possession. Defense allows 30 yards. The offense manages 18 yards on their next two possessions. You want better field position? Maybe move the ball a bit before punting. Two opportunities to help themselves and the D and they did nothing. Defense begins another drive with Denver at or inside the 50 before allowing a TD on the most improbable completion since the last Russ Wilson ridiculous completion. Offense finally responds with a Td. Defense concedes a field goal. Offense gifts Denver another 3 points after another brutal turnover. Offense is basically +1 net points at the half. 2nd Half: Defense forces 3 and out. Offense goes 4 plays and turns it over on downs at the 50. Defense asked once again to defend a short field and comes up with a huge turnover granting the offense field position. Offense actually pulls their weight and scores a TD. Game tied. Defense forces a punt after 6 plays and 8 net yards. With a chance to take their first lead of the night the offense turns the ball over at the 50 again as Allen can't execute the most basic of QB responsibilities. Defense forced to defend a short field for the 4th or 5th time of the evening. Defense forces a 3 and out punt. With another chance to take a lead the offense punts after a 26 yard drive. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/401547537
  22. When we lead a game for 90 seconds out of 60 minutes and the Defense is continually handed short fields, its really hard to say the defense is letting Allen down. He's allowed to do something before 5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The offense has done nothing to take the pressure off the D.
  23. reuben sandwiches
  24. Because it was the only thing that worked. Cook and Murray gashed Denver all night. Even Dorsey won't leave the run when its averaging 7.5 yards per carry. Anything else?
