Composed thoughts?! I'll give it a try. This is what I expected, considering what we have lost talent-wise over the last year1 or 2. I am not mad, though. This regime explained their 1st major goal was to get their QB. Then work on the cap issue(dead money too). Guys, this is a rebuild and was going to be from the get go. This was to be expected. My only hope is that we see it through. Give them a couple of more years. We have 10 picks coming up and we will have a ton of $ for free agency. My only concern is that we seem to do well with FA/traded defensive players brought in vs. FA/traded offensive players. The offensive players are just that: offensive, WR's more than anything.

After seeing what happened to earl thomas, I would sit. I am assuming what Bell has made in his career so far is enough to retire on(12 or 14 million last year alone). I'm confused on something, did bell sign the franchise tender? If not, he's not under contract. How does he get fined? Or is he just giving up the $. Just curious cuz I keep reading he is being fined $800,000+ for every game he misses. Can't fine someone not under contract.

I'm 51 yrs old and I HAD to learn that football isn't life. As bad as we've been for the last 2 decades, that was the healthiest thing I've done. Root, but live your real life. Now, I did miss the game because I felt an ass whooping coming and didn't feel like wasting an afternoon watching crap football. Boy, was I wrong! Now I'll end up watching the GB game. Should be fun.
