People seem to forget we lost Wood and Incognito. Pretty tough to replace a pro bowl center and pro bowl left guard that were part of this year's plan. Ritchie signed a new contract for less, then lost his mind and Wood retired unexpectedly due to a neck injury. Dawkins, Incognito, and Wood from left tackle to center would have been one hell of a left side of the line. But I'm sure you had a plan for that. We must have been typing at the same time regarding the oline. Didn't copy off of you.

I am curious to see if Pittsburgh rallies around each other even more now that Bell is history. I wouldn't count them out either.

The more I think about it, the more questions I have on the rams d. Is the personel(sp)l really a fit for wade and his 3-4 concepts? I always thought suh was a better fit on a 4-3 defense. My initial thought was the front 4 should be able to pressure brees without much help from lbs and db blitzes. Now a 3-4 front would need help from olb or safety blitzes. Fowler might make a difference. That's why I will check back in a week or 2 to change my vote. Is that cheating? You are right about the rams secondary being weak.

He was a big part of my fantasy team too. Big loss. Definitely makes me think twice about my vote. Going to give the rams d a couple more games to see if they can turn it up. Saints would be my next choice.

After 2 games, no. But like coach, I wanted him to sit most, if not all season. JMO and coach's. Again, that's how I read it. If you don't, kool.

With a better qb situation, he would have sat most, if not all year. From what I have read, that's the feeling I get. They definitely drafted him with thoughts of sitting him and bringing him along slowly. Done.

In case you missed it, he explained the purpose he sees in starting Barkley over Allen. Just read and you might understand where he's coming from. I am pasting what he explained below. Again, just read a little. Barkley is better than Allen at this point.Let allen watch a QB who knows at least the basics of the game----How to throw a short pass with proper timing...how to throw without getting your receivers killed...how to move his feet and not look like a wooden indian...and doesnt lock in forever on the primary.Allen will have his time. Up til today all Allen got to see was crap. Let him watch a real QB for a while.
