  1. I'm a Noles fan and can't argue wth you on that point. No to Burns.
  2. And the Bills signed a stud today: Olof Pilar
  3. If White is available at #9, I would be very happy taking him over a DL. Even when we go to a nickle or big nickle, Edmunds can play outside, cover te's and even rush the passer opposite of Hughes. Plus, I think a healthy Milano has some untapped pass rushing potential. The fact that Edmunds can do so much makes it easier to take White and put him in as the mlb. Edmunds, White and Milano would make for a helluva LB corp. Sure Edmunds was our MLB last season, but he would be just as good, if not more valuable outside, if we took White. LB and pass rush is more of a pressing need than DL imo and white being there at 9 would be a match made in football heaven. IMO, the only DL I would take over White would be Q. Williams. https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/04/26/buffalo-bills-nfl-draft-picks-selections-grades He has the range to go sideline-to-sideline as a traditional middle linebacker, and the length and fluid athleticism to match up with tight ends in coverage. And despite it not always being in his job description, he’s an explosive edge rusher with star potential if asked to play the edge on a regular basis. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/04/27/2018-nfl-draft-buffalo-bills-tremaine-edmunds-versatile/ It’s expected that Edmunds will start for the team at middle linebacker. However, the rookie doesn’t really have a preference on where he plays. “Well, in my opinion, I’m an athletic guy,” Edmunds said during his introductory press conference on Friday. “Versatile player. I can move around, so any of those linebacker spots I really feel like I can play.” http://www.espn.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/31598/buffalo-bills-2018-draft-analysis-for-every-selection Where does he play? The biggest question for Edmunds is where he will be play in Buffalo’s 4-3 defense. At 6-foot-5 and 253 pounds, Edmunds had 5.5 sacks in college and was projected to play on the edge in the NFL. He could contribute in that area for the Bills, especially once outside linebacker Lorenzo Alexander transitions into retirement, but he is more likely to immediately contribute as a middle linebacker in the defense. "He's a versatile athlete," McDermott said. "He's got size, length. He's played inside. He's played outside. He's played on the line of scrimmage, he's played off the line of scrimmage. ... That is what attracted us to him."
  4. I was thinking the same thing. There was no guarantee we would have beat the Bucs if we tried.
  5. Jim Brown and then OJ.
  6. Maybe we should wait til after the draft. Drafting a rb and maybe a udfa will lower our average age for rbs?. Plus learning from 2 potential hof rbs will help develop the youngster(s). I am assuming we draft 1.
  7. Boo, hiss. Boo, hiss. I just picture Brady, Brees, Mahomes and the like getting defensive holding or pass interference calls to make the game more "exciting". Plus, why give a team an extra offensive play? Just giving them that extra play coukd kill the momentum the opposing defense has worked hard to establish. And you know certain qbs would have an unfair officiating advantage.
  8. Gulf Coast is called the forgotten coast. I live in Tallahassee. Geographicaly, I say I live in the armpit of Fl. Check it out on a map. No summer breeze here, but from Nov-March we have a change in seasons. It is sometimes colder here on a Jan. night than Buffalo. My mom never believes me when I call. Aug. Sept and Oct are muggy.
  9. They wanted to break up into 2 or 3 separate states. What a difference between so cal and northern. Kinda like here in FL. South fl is way different than n fl. N fl is called south ga.
  10. Yep. $5 mil in Cali is definitely not the same as $5 mil in TX or FL.
  11. I'm trusting Beane on this one.
  12. What are they thinking?! It's potato chips that should be inside of sandwiches.
  13. I think Bennett would be awesome in today's NFL. Don't forget, he played olb in a 3-4 defense. Not really a fit in our current scheme though.
  14. "Now I’d take the penalty to knock the $?!+ out of him on a hit." If you're gonna do it, do it right. ?
  15. Like KellyToTasker said " take that voodoo back man, take it back!"
  16. listening to him on WGR 550 right now.
  17. You're right about the key point you made. The title of your thread makes some feel you're going to talk about the pats demise(I did). To me the title and content don't go together. Especially if some people don't even read your post and just go by the title, and it seems some have done that.
  18. Just had a couple of beers with a buddy who's a dolphin fan and he is pissed with the fitzmagic signing.
  19. Living in Tallahassee for over 1/2 my life now, I've become a Seminole fan. UB and FSU can meet in the elite 8. I wouldn't know who to root for. Would love to see it though. I have FSU beating UB in my pool. Also got to see Canisius play FSU here early in the season.
  20. If anyone is watching the VA. Tech game, I swear the refs called a charge on the St. Louis player driving to the basket AND a block on the guy who drew the charge. WTF?!
  21. Same here. Maybe at his new weight he can help out on special teams. Fb in heavy sets to lead block and also split out and take advantage of matchups in goal line situations.
