  1. These are two bad football teams.
  2. This is a great quote. Nice read.
  3. Calling out a RB hitting the 1,000 yard mark is sort of like predicting a QB hitting the 3,000 passing yard mark. It was great in the 1980's, but in today's game it doesn't really mean anything.
  4. I did. I thought he performed well but I just don't think highly of the Giants' D at all. He had a nice drive to end the game but that was only necessary because he threw a pick on the drive before when trying to force the ball to McLaurin. After a loss to the Steelers the Bills have been handed an amazing gift -- not only are we healthy but we are in the midst of facing 3 backup QBs in a row. Possibly even a 3rd string QB against Houston. Good teams, playoff teams, don't let these opportunities slip away. No excuses.
  5. He's a 28 yr old journeyman backup QB on his 4th team. He had a really nice game in the playoffs last year. It's fun to hype up guys like this because they're easy to root for, but they rarely turn into anything at this age. He's a flawed QB and Washington is a flawed team. I know a lot of fans are going to hype the WFT into world-beaters, but there's no excuse to lose a home game to these guys.
  6. Heinicke is not a good QB. Past the front 4 their defense is very suspect. There's no excuse to lose this game.
  7. In that situation if you're playing against Mahomes you go for it. If you're playing against Jacoby Brissett you kick.
  8. He's a replaceable player.
  9. No, of course not. We aren't winning any rings with QB play like the last 2 weeks. This narrative that the fans "only want stats" is completely misguided. We want elite QB play, and what we saw today was....eye opening to say the least.
  10. Bass hitting 45 in a row kicking in our stadium in Nov/Dec/Jan just isn't going to happen. I was thinking Prescott could challenge the Flying Dutchman's single game record though.
  11. Man, you are going to have a rough time on these forums if something this frivolous gets you so bent out of shape.
  12. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/jim-kubiak-josh-allen-reverts-to-old-ways-but-steelers-defense-deserves-credit/article_67b9ad0c-14ff-11ec-a026-dfbc223dbc13.html Jim Kubiak wrote an amazing breakdown for the BN on the Steelers' gameplan complete with video. They didn't just confuse Allen but the entire OL as well, with rotating fronts, shifting Ingram to standup LB, bringing Tre Norwood to the line, etc, etc. he does a great job of explaining how they created the confusion.
  13. No impact. Despite what the tantrum-throwing minority are saying, there won't be empty sections at the stadium, the ticket market won't change drastically, and the Pegulas won't have to sell their yacht. The stadium noise will be as loud as ever and the Bills' season will go on as normal, the only primary difference will be the guy sitting next to you won't be an advocate for horse deworming pills.
  14. Brian Daboll is the happiest person in WNY today. Nobody talking about that 4th down play anymore.
  15. Losing to the Dolphins next week clearly would be a DOUBLE blessing!
  16. Through hindsight we now know the reason Moss was scratched - because the gameplan had us running empty for ~45% of the snaps. Also through hindsight we now know that this was a terrible gameplan, one that Pittsburgh clearly spent weeks planning for and rendered those empty sets ineffective to the tune of ~4.3yds per play.
  17. Rams are 38-0 when leading at halftime with Sean McVay
  18. I stand corrected, that game was wildly entertaining. I did not think the Dallas offense could do that to a defense that just shut down Mahomes. Dak was on a pace last year for 6,700 yards. If he stays healthy, with a 17 game schedule he's a shoe-in for 6K and may challenge 7K. Crazy.
  19. So you're saying you're not buying a jersey? I'd like to see Dallas get blown out and completely embarrassed. A 6-10 team shouldn't be playing in the opening game.
  20. So the clear star of this season was Stefon Diggs' nephew.
  21. Steelers' T.J. Watt: Could hold out
  22. Who cares what Peter King thinks? He's not even a real analyst. This guy is constantly wrong. I'm not even going to give him any clicks. Wait
