  1. Really liked seeing how amped up he gets during the field goal block/TD. He strikes me as an all around selfless team-first kind of guy.
  2. Seems like a nice guy.
  3. I love this and agree completely.
  4. 100% agree with this. It always seems to be the much devoted fanboys that can't handle criticism of their favorite players. I enjoyed the win and celebrated every touchdown with the LA Bills Backers, but it doesn't mean that I must worship everything Rex or Tyrod have done. It also doesn't mean that magically I think we're a 10+ win team. 16 years or whatever it's been have made me an expert at apotting mediocrity and that's what we have here. I'm pretty sure that the cheaters will force Taylor to have to make throws to win the game on Sunday. I'm not being overly critical when I say that we lose the games when teams make him throw.
  5. Out of curiosity... how do they regulate banned fans? Couldn't you just go and be on your best behavior?
  6. The funny thing is, until his 5th INT that went for a touchdown, they were still in the game. In fairness to JP...I don't believe he ever threw 6 INTs in a game.
  7. Why couldn't he be just Fitz last week?
  8. Generally speaking you should stand on third downs and important 4th quarter defensive stands when the game is close. Anyone standing on offense will be sure to get a heckle from me.
  9. I think if had a different last name you would never make the comparison to Jim Kelly. Sorry.
  10. Post of the year.
  11. Blaming the wide receivers in Buffalo is like blaming the firemen when a house burns down. They came, they did the best they could, but someone else already lit the house on fire.
  12. I honestly don't know who hired who anymore.
  13. He could've broken it in his last year if he could figure out how to beat the 3-13 Raiders and their rookie QB. I'm glad he walked.
  14. How could such specific information get accurately leaked?
  15. I see the similarities as well. Fred was criminally underused in his early years here and this is the problem you create when you pay one running back above the average salary. Now there's too much pressure to use McCoy, and we aren't using the fresh legs that are ready to go.
  16. Seriously, I got really excited for a second there.
  17. I think he has some similarities to Fred's style. He's very balanced and seems to get that extra yard easily. As someone mentioned earlier, he's simply hungrier than McCoy is right now. McCoy is definitely more talented, but I'd like to see them both get some action in the games.
  18. Cool. The deflate gate crew.
  19. He has 0 carries, 2 catches, 1 touchdown. No one has made the most of their chances, but he has. Maybe bump him up the food chain a little? Well said. His running style seems to be the type that just takes what he's given. I'd like to see him used as a change of pace back and I think he'd e great in the red zone.
  20. On Thursday, Tyrod Taylor threw his easiest touchdown of the night in "garbage time." A little 4 yard dump off that turned into a 17 yard TD scamper by Mike Gillislee: I thought the touchdown was very impressive. The Jets were still essentially running a prevent defense, but there were two defenders in the high flats and a safety to beat. They all had good position and he just split the first grouping of defenders and bulldozed the safety. I thought it was a fantastic example of having a nose for the end zone. Last season, in very limited play time, Gillislee had a 50-yard TD run and a 60-yard TD run. In 47 carries, he averaged 5.7 yards per rush and scored a respectable 3 touchdowns. This season he has zero carries after two games. Gillislee passes both the eye test and the stat test (with albeit a small sample size), and so I ask you...what do we have here? Should Gillislee spell McCoy more often? Is he a hidden gem capable of being a much cheaper full-time starter should the team move on from McCoy after this year?
  21. No, those are your answers. I think most good quarterbacks are allowed to go through growing pains. This one wasn't. Out of necessity, I'm ready to move on because at this point the damage has been done. I'm still going to blast the team for their mismanagement of the player, and I'm going to mock the fans that thought they'd seen enough by his 14th game with a nearly .500 record. What you said might be true, but his (lack of) development as a player is germane to the discussion. There's still a lot of season to go, we'll see what happens and what the team's needs are come week 17.
  22. Eh, he's got a point. A lot of fans act like EJ is the worst QB in the NFL. A rational fan understands that he was QB that was never afforded the chance to develop and pulled in year 2 with a 2-2 record. I've seen a lot worse QBs get a lot more opportunities than EJ Manuel.
  23. If you don't think EJ Manuel is getting an offer in free agency you are absolutely clueless.
  24. I genuinely think they will have a solid gameplan defensively, but I also think that the Cardinals and Arians will figure it out in a couple drives and we will make no effort to adjust.
