  1. I really hope Rex's '16/'17 season was contingent on him releasing Thurman this offseason. This is very bad for appearances.
  2. haha ok Bucky. I read this on the BN and laughed. Sabres are on the upswing and the Bills, well....we'll see but I'm not worried. Terry made moves with the Sabres to find competent coaching. he'll do the same if Rex proves further that he is not the man for the job. Neither team were contenders when Terry took over. Well, the Sabres made it to the playoffs that year and got eliminated R1. Things do not happen over night.
  3. aw, this is so cute. an "i told you so" thread. anyway, GO BILLS!
  4. hm. glass half full kind of guy. I can respect that, but after 15 years, going on 16, come on haha GO BILLS!
  5. the pro bowl is a popularity contest. i don't put too much weight into it. the fact that McCoy is going over Darby is a prime example of that.
  6. this team hasn't had "average" talent in quite sometime. NO team in the NFL is comprised of 100% elite athletes. call me what you'd like, but I think the "talent" overall on this team, exceeds average. now, the coaching, that's another story.
  7. a defensive scheme extends far beyond being 3-4 or 4-3. the type of 3-4 that Rex has this personnel playing is nonsensical.
  8. oh we're still talking about Kiko/McCoy trade?
  9. do what needs to be done. Just no more self proclaimed "gurus".
  10. why would he be mad? he all but took obj out of the game with the exception of a couple of plays, and his team won. yea...he's mad. hahaha can't wait till that phrase dies like the Bills season.
  11. what a difference, a scheme makes!
  12. haha I find it so funny how people are fawning over fitzpatrick. he is the same QB, only with competent coaches who know how to win with the talents they are given. Something that he never experienced here, in Buffalo, and would still NOT experience if he were still here, in Buffalo.
  13. oh yea, I forgot we're all supposed to speak Ebonics. Thanks for reminding me. Cus yous no. Uh, sometimes, I's fo'gets amazing.
  14. interesting read. in light of all of the leadership speech recently. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/16/aaron-williams-tries-to-plug-bills-leadership-gap/
  15. Elite or not, he will flatten the Browns this week. Russell is really developing as a pocket passer. Something a lot of analysts said he could not do.
  16. haha it's always good to start the day off with a decent chuckle. thank you!
  17. I don't understand how anyone who watches QB play, can sit there and make that statement. so are we going to argue that WRs who have a better and more accurate (catch-able) ball thrown his way is a better receiver? the same logic can be said if Watkins were receiving passes from one of the members of TSW as opposed to Manning. I mean, for honesty's sake...QB play plays a HUGE role in a WR's career. Can you honestly say that if Watkins had Big Ben, Cam, Dalton, or Brady throwing to him that he wouldn't have MORE receptions, MORE yards and MORE TDs? You can make an argument that his is all hypothetical, but...I think it's a safe bet. If you actually watch Sammy run his routes he typically always beats the defender, and you'll see him waving to like a madman to TT, to signal he's open. It also helps when you have an OC that knows how to design and utilize his receiving talent. Roman focuses on the run game and designs plays to cater to that offensive "scheme", or lack thereof. Watkins get lots of separation. ODB consistently catches the ball...? I've seen some dropped passes from him as well. For a Bills fan, the grass is always greener. I didn't know there was anymore room left on the ODB bandwagon.
  18. Karlos is a beast and was on his way to a breaking a league record.
  19. especially when we made a major move to obtain him. it just doesn't make any sense. I don't understand how some members here don't see that.
  20. even machines make mistakes. that's fact. nothing works perfectly 100% of the time. nothing.
  21. aww this thread is cute.
  22. so everyone must have been diagnosed with "emotional disabilities", including last year's Jets.
  23. Mario Williams was very effective when he has a decent DC and defensive scheme. you cant expect your most influential pass rusher to do his job when the scheme is forcing him to drop into coverage. how is this on Mario? last season vs this season. ONE important element has changed, and it isn't Mario. Rex's approach and scheme are bad, not Mario.
