  1. just sat him. the game was over.
  2. direct message. basically a private message to that user.
  3. yes! it should! it's hard....it takes acknowledgment. it's a 2 way street and we can ALL improve. but first you have to recognize that there is room for improvement.
  4. you just proved my point. you just stated that in your opinion, I am lesser than an officer simply because he took a 16 week course, and an oath? haha you thanks for making my case. ....and as far as your little YouTube comment, nah. like I said. I am well educated, articulate, and I RESPECT the individual...their profession has zero to do with it. thanks for playing.
  5. who said anything about ego? I simply expect to be treated with the same respect and decorum that my father (whom is white) is treated when he encounters police. he can tell you first hand, as can I, that's not always the case. college educated, well employed, very articulate but that doesnt matter. in the end some cops just see a black dude from the east side and that is our point. just equality. I don't hate anyone. that is not in my nature. I respect individuals as individuals, not a symbol.
  6. Rather I think you should. That applies to branches of government
  7. I dont even know where to begin. police are people, not god. they make mistakes, they can be corrupt, bias, violent, unstable...you name it. they deserve the same respect I would give a teacher or a garbage man. that badge does not make you my superior, nor does it make you void of error. you took an OATH to protect and serve the people. you are a civil servant...unless of course this is a military state. oh... the "law" is subjective. it can be used to target individuals based on appearance, religion, even fear. "I feared for my life..." is a statement that should NOT free one from murder, intentional or otherwise. certain demographics are impacted and severely disproportionately targeted, and arrested...because of said "laws". stop and frisk? funny, they never really left the brown neighborhoods to enforce that. " And personally if you're atupud enough to resist or fight an officer you're better off removed from society..." ^ this is astonishing. haha ever hear of the revolutionary war? that was a revolt. a fight. I guess by your logic this country that is sooo great and can do no wrong (even though it was founded upon genocide, slavery, and subjugation) wouldn't exist. "They do not bear arms, and do not know them, for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of cane… . They would make fine servants…. With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want." - Christopher Columbus Go Bills!
  8. these threads are becoming cringe worthy.
  9. oh another "I told you so" thread... dude isn't even a Bill anymore. he didn't want to be a Bill anymore. yet and still we are dedicating threads to him haha
  10. wouldn't that be his knee area then... I remember that whole event haha I was about 8
  11. mmm no you are reading comments of morons behind keyboard speaking on behalf of BLM... but before this thread becomes anymore divisive, have a great day! Go Bills
  12. hahaha I am sure you think you have. But then again, any minority group grasping for justice is deemed "racist" by the "majority". Remember, the Panthers were formed as a RESPONSE to the Klan, but oddly, only the Panther party was labeled "racist" and seen to be threatening. It was later dismantled by the U.S gov't. It wasn't until AFTER September 11th than the Klan was looked at as a domestic terrorist group. they've lynched, they've burned, they've bombed, they've shot...beat...I could literally go on and on. Tulsa, OK riot of 1921 - bombs were dropped on black communities and churches, killing more than 300. But a group asking for militarized police to stop killing unarmed citizens... that's racist? BLM even protested for Jeremy Mardis (white child killed by police). "All Lives Matter" group was silent...funny...but BLM is racist anti white there is a GREAT book written by Howard Zinn - "A People's History of the United States". It's a wonderful read, and offer tons of facts that are omitted or altered in general textbooks seen in high school and even college. History is the only scholastic sect that faces this sort of distortion and leads to awe inspiring disconnect between cultures. "I do not know if there is any other field of knowledge which suffers so badly as history from the sheer blind repetitions that occur year after year, and book after book." - Herbert Butterfield.
  13. wow, he's right http://talkingbiznews.com/2/coverage-bass-pro-shops-banks-to-buy-rival-cabelas/
  14. maybe to some. but again this impacts a group that you likely do not belong to, let alone relate. a group that get very very little representation as it. the only thing I find embarrassing is the lack of understanding and empathy. other countries try to change and learn from past transgressions. here in the states, people revere them, no matter how archaic or bigoted. embarrassing.
  15. he's a key player in the Bills' defense. really hope he continues the pressure and energy. penalties aside, I love watching him.
  16. people really hopping on the TT is garbage train? I thought that been left the station...
  17. "There is no Carol in HR!"
  18. if so, very very interesting.
  19. damn, another one.
  20. especially since Hughes was the only one to even touch Fitz
  21. Helps when he's facing minimal pressure. Fitz was on our teams for years, so we know what he can do. Hughes was the only one last night to even tough the qb. I place part of the blame on the fact that the defense was just gassed. the offense could not stay on the field.
  22. ^ I never understood this struggle.
  23. precisely.
  24. this is what really deflates me. game ONE.
