Ive watched 40+ seasons of Bills games. Ive never seen a game where they didnt run the ball once in the first 10 plays of the game let alone deep into the 2nd quarter. Bizarre!

Actually I would honestly say Fitz is better.

Goff is occasionally capable of some really great clutch throws but his lack of elusiveness is his main weakness. At times today he looked like Rob Johnson attempting to avoid pressure. Rams either need to surround him with a ton of talent or replace him.

I just watched the Chiefs/Texans hilites from the playoffs last year. The Chiefs found themselves in a similar position to the Steelers a week ago. Down 3 scores after a series of freakish plays and gifts to the opposition. I dont think the difference between the Steelers losing and KC coming back last year have anything to with preparation. Ben R is done and Mahomes is just getting started. Steelers also just gave up and only the Browns taking their foot off the gas allowed the game to be close. Also nothing to do with Tomlins coaching except that weird 2nd half punt.

There are two keys to this game that are intangibles as far as I'm concerned. 1. How is our defense going to react to a less than stellar performance last week against the Colts? The national media has been going on and on about this over the past week. Perhaps our players dont listen and dont care about the criticism but maybe (hopefully) the disrespect motivates them to play better and they rise to the occasion. 2. How is Motor going to react to all the doom and gloom on the Moss injury and the assumption that we have completely lost our running game? Just like the defense in the last point, is the disrespect going to motivate him to perform? Both areas are the big X factors in this game.

All the things that Simms said are true, its a good analysis but our problems vs the Colts were hardly inexplicable. The situation is now how do we fix these things before Saturday. Frazier and McD need to creating a defensive game plan that not only focusses on neutralizing Jacksons run game but messes up his reads in the passing game. But probably the most important thing besides this tailor made Plan A, is a PLAN B!! They obviously had no Plan B vs Rivers last week or if they did it wasn't very good. They must have a Plan B and adjust if Jackson starts burning us with runs or if we cannot get pressure. Most of what they tried against Rivers in the was an abysmal failure but the defense was able to stiffen and they got a few bad throws and some good luck. You cannot win on that every week, especially in the playoffs. They have to adjust if their game plan is failing. They did this really well against the Steelers and I thought we had really turned a corner but there it was again vs the Colts!
