  1. This team takes years off my life game after game, yet I watch every moment like a hopeless drug addict!
  2. Just get it to 4th down and the defense folds
  3. The amount of grief that Duke Williams got from the Houston incompletion and we have bonafide NFL pros like Sanders dropping passes like that, WTF.
  4. Its like Spencer was somehow channeling 80s hair band metal videos ! He should have crushed that can against his helmet after finishing!
  5. You can worship the Titans all you want but to me they look as inconsistent as the Bills have been. In addition, I didn't say that they lucked in all 10 wins but certainly into at least 3 of them. They beat us on a slip by Josh on a play that would never go the same way 99/100 times. They beat the Colts in OT after being gifted two horrendous INTs in that game from Wentz. They beat San Fran last night despite being dominated in the first half and being pinned deep right at the end. Also the Titans barely beat the Seahawks and the Saints. Finally the Titans have been blown out twice by the Pats and Cardinals and lost to the pathetic Jets and Texans. I dont think they are much better than us but as I said they have had more luck this year. In the Words of the late great Dennis Green though, if you want to "crown their ass" then go ahead and crown them.
  6. Im getting so sick of the Titans and their horseshoe up their butts. That game should have been over early (at least 21-0 at halftime). Instead the 49ers and overrated Jimmy G just let them hang around. It was nice that they almost pulled out of the fire by tying it late but the subsequent Titans series and the defensive collapse on that long Tannehill scramble was a total choke. By contrast we havent had 1 iota of luck in any of our close games that we have lost (except bad luck).
  7. Strange game overall. The Pats played very unpatslike and were undisciplined and sloppy. Surprise, Surprise Mac Jones isnt the 2nd coming of Brady. Even the refs seemed to call most things against the Pats and omit a few penalties on the Colts. On another note, I think the Bills can beat either of these teams in the playoffs with the right game plan and execution. The Bills have way more offensive talent. Had the Bills got up on the Pats two weeks ago that game would have been theirs. In addition, had the Bills even done the slightest effective game planning for the Colts run attack it would have been on the piss poor Carson Wentz to beat them. He is awful. Once again though it irks me that the Bills blew both of those games vs these teams!
  8. yes, but, is it better for the Bills playoff chances if they do?
  9. I think the reason its even more embarrassing is that it appears that Meyer had lost that team even before the Bills game. In fact it may have been that he rubbed so many people the wrong way (LITERALLY) that he may not have EVER had that team on his side at all. I think the Bills losing to the Jags is a testament to the Jags players getting mad at maybe some barely concealed disrespect that the Bills had for the Jags that whole week before the game and playing for each other and not their coach, who it seems like they actively despised. The Bills loss to the Jags is still tough to swallow even if they were facing an angry motivated Jags team because of the talent disparity. The Bills looked sloppy, unprepared and not properly motivated to take care of business and that unfortunately is on McD.
  10. I'm glad this ahole is gone, but losing to him is even more embarrassing now.
  11. I find it hilarious that someone else beyond me actually remembers the Eddie Robinson "get faked out of his shoes" play. What a forgettable team and era for the Bills. That play epitomized that team as the fraud joke they were. As for Obada, his whiff on Brady might be more embarrassing because Brady is 42 years old and at least Robinson was fooled by a much younger Pennington.
  12. Ball Spotting could be easily fixed by a chip in the Ball. I dont fault the refs for not seeing it in real time when the guy jumps into the scrum. Tennis knows exactly when a ball is in or out so it should be quite easy to do this in a football if you want accuracy. The rest of the fixes are much more problematic but some are doable. NFL just has to get their heads out of their butts and stop with the excuses for incompetent officials and not implementing Tech.
  13. When another poster mentioned this, I have to admit I had no recollection of this (like a few things pre covid) but was there even one instance where a Bills coach used this challenge? I dont remember it being used at all. I found this article but like many on the subject, they say the owners "didnt support it" but it doesn't really explain the reasoning that deeply. https://www.mlive.com/lions/2020/05/pass-interference-challenges-are-dead-for-the-2020-nfl-season.html Personally I think like some have suggested it might be better to have the officials throw a flag when in doubt and then have the booth official quickly review it to confirm the call. However the CFL have kept their rule in place and it does work, so for the NFL to claim that this kind of rule was unworkable is just stupid. Reminds me of the old days when the CFL allowed 2pt convert attempts yet the NFL resisted it as if it was some sort of outlandish idea
  14. Make PI a coaches challenge. It works in the CFL and is limited to once a game if you have a timeout. Had the Bills had any timeouts they could have challenged the endzone pass play. But the Big time NFL cant possibly poach a good idea from the two bit CFL can they?
  15. Yes thats a good question. Unfortunately as I said an offensive player has to embellish a hold just to get the officials to notice. And even then they dont seem to notice!
  16. Bills players need to do what soccer players do looking for a penalty in the box. They need to feel the hold or the interference which is definitely there (Obviously a lot more times than it is called ) then collapse like they have been hit by a sniper. They need to literally oversell the foul. Otherwise these idiot officials, who in some cases are staring right at the illegal contact or hold, wont get the message. It seems like cheating or faking but if Diggs had done that in the OT on the 3rd down play where he was held by the jersey, we would have got that foul called and the drive would have continued. The play near the end of regulation I think he did enough to get the officials attention but they STILL didnt call it.
  17. I agree. I saw a several ghosts of Bills teams past in last nights game. It was very SBesque in parts of the game. Unfortunately the huge gut punch as we lost in tragic fashion was all to familiar. My wife questions why I dont get a new team (after 40 years of heartbreak).
  18. This game in the first half reminded me of the 2nd SB vs the Skins and the 3rd SB vs Dallas. We were getting blown out, dominated and playing scared and nervous. All of course on national TV. The 2nd half was a bit reminiscent of the 1st SB vs the Giants and unfortunately just like in that game we should have scored a TD at the end to win it but failed. Year after year this damn team rips my heart out. Can the football gods throw us bone for once?!!
  19. You are absolutely right. If The DB doesnt look its PI, However, Why is the NFL's new interpretation of appropriate pass defense seem to be you can smother a receiver and have you hands all over him as long as you are looking at the ball. In years past its PI all day long.
  20. Diggs was literally held by the jersey on that play in OT. Watch the replay. The holding was clear and obvious
  21. Diggs was interfered with on the last play before the tying FG and then held on the incomplete pass in OT. TOTAL BS officiating. I swear on the overhead view that the TB Rb didnt make that first down on the run either.
  22. No thats not even close to what happened. Jackson just dropped it
  23. OMG jackson you choked any possibility away
