Very sorry Guffalo. Dogs are members of the family. Losing one is devastating but you can take solace in the fact that he loved you and your family unconditionally. The time will be right to look for another dog and you'll start over again. In the interim, very sorry for your loss. (Incidentally, my 13 yr old lab did the same thing. Used to come up and wake us up every morning. He doesn't anymore and can hardly get up. No problems with heart and xray normal but vet said he is just old. Giving him anti-inflammatories but doesn't seem to be helping. Already preparing for what might be happening later this week. We have another lab here and he'll be lost without his big brother). Stay strong brother.

Did Whaley lie to us (the volunteer fans who have every right to go do something else on Sundays)? Did Shaq tear his shoulder ligament rowing a boat along side the Buffalo Harbor cruise last week? Will Cordy Glenn be able to play having lost another kidney and will the Bills provide dialysis for him during halftime? Will the Shah of Iran require another appendectomy? There's a lot of **** goin' on here.

I would think a hot water tank, or emergency boiler repair, or a large hole in your roof....but those aren't really even emergencies as much as they are "inconveniences". The truth is, the article should have increased the amount of an "emergency" for inflation (say $20,000). I agree, $1,000 doesn't rise to the level of emergency when some guys could rack that up in dinner and entertainment in one 12 hour span.
