  1. If Shaq is injured I have the answer in three words: Eric !@#$ing Striker
  2. Why did I do that?
  3. Yeah, I get to Asia quite often. . Shoot, I'd be happy if they comped me an extra bag of honey roasted peanuts.
  4. I remember when I got my first job. On numerous occassions, my boss called me "dumb", "what are you stupid?", "this is horrible", "what the !@#$ were you thinking?", etc. It kinda sucked at the time, but I brushed it off and moved forward. Granted, I am somewhat thick in the head and make mistakes, but I don't hold it against my old boss. It's the way some people operate. There are a lot of Richie Incognitos in this world...the trick is to deal with them with a head nod and get back to business. Unfortunate that Martin couldn't do that, but to point the finger of blame at RI alone is misguided. He's wired a certain way and we've all met "those guys". Just have to push through it.
  5. Does DCTom have kids?? Just curious.
  6. This thread is a microcosm of the entire Incognito-Martin event: people taking comments out of context, people speaking their minds and others taking moral high ground. Richie has turned a corner and some here can't stop talking about his words and texts (banter which Martin participated in voluntarily for months giving back as much as he took). His comments in this article are fine: basically saying "I don't care about Richie or what he is doing now". Maybe that is the approach he should have used when he was playing football.
  7. Hopefully Ritchie doesn't tweet, talk, or comment on this at all. Martin may be baiting him to comment.
  8. LOL. Bandit has twins...and a wife.
  9. FireChan - His ex-girlfriend once asked him if he would ever consider settling down and starting a family...his response included phrases like "who the hell do you think I am" and "I'll marry you but I'm always right" or "if we get married, you will agree with whatever I say". She was last seen in the Bahamas sipping rum punches with the locals.
  10. Depends on the temp inside the car. 84 degrees and under...sea bass. Anchovies work well if you expect interior car temps above 84 degrees while your car sits for one week.
  11. BuffaloBarbarian - any guy who can comment on the 3 technique vs 5 technique at 5am has no wife or kids. (Side note: Gugny uses the 3 finger technique due to his....ummmm....limitations) CountryCletus - He's in the woods too much. He's a carrier of tick borne illnesses and eats possum. No way he's married.
  12. Sorry I didn't see this before. Here is a little trick I learned awhile back. Sea Bass have a higher moisture content than any other salt water fish. The saline composition also bodes well for starchiness and self-leveling conditions. Go to Wegmans or a local seafood retailer and buy 2 lbs of fresh sea bass. Make sure it's fresh, thawed (not frozen). Then, place the sea bass in a brown paper bag with 1/2 cup parmesano reggiano cheese, one Decaf tea bag (not regular...has to be decaf) and a 7" long peppermint stick. The idea is the tea bag offsets the fish and the cheese offsets the tea making a perfectly neutral odor environment. But the saline content creates a moisture bubble that keeps your suit wrinkle free and ready to wear. I've done this 10 times and never had a complaint. Good luck on your job interview.
  13. I bet it felt good to go buy new clothes on your way down...it was worth it.
  14. McLovin had problems tracking the ball. This could be the new curse....the curse of McLovin. We need a new stadium.
  15. I think I started using MFP when you said you used it. It's a nice way to keep eating healthy (because I don't want to see my 2000 calories/day go red in the negative territory). Down from 204 to 193 since April 5. Congrats on your 53 pounds. Fantastic.
  16. Record by Under Armour - Exercise Smarter, Feel Better, Live Longer, connects with UA HealthBox by Under Armour https://appsto.re/us/J1Xx1.i I use "My Fitness Pal" by UnderArmor to track my diet, exercise, weight loss etc. I like it a lot. I just checked and they hVe the above app which I think you are looking for...it syncs to your Heart Strap. Check it out.
  17. Even Lou Piccone...amazing video. The deflected/tipped pass into Butler's hands for a TD at the 7 minute mark...I'll always remember that.
  18. Dante - It sounds like you want to start a "fleet" of trucks (i.e. as your business grows you plan on buying more trucks). With that in mind, I'd buy the trucks. Just my opinion but here's why: 1) When you buy a $20,000 truck, your accountant will depreciate that truck over the course of 10 years or so. As you accumulate more trucks, you will continue to depreciate each of those vehicles over the course of years (some years you'll see more of a depreciation deduction than other years). 2) If you sell your business, you'll have assets that you own (as opposed to leased vehicles that carry no value because they have to be returned). That gives you a better value having a fleet of trucks. 3) Insurance might be costlier with a fleet of leased vehicles (as opposed to owned vehicles). 4) You may want to create a separate LLC for the truck fleet ("Dante's Transport and Trucking LLC") separate from your business LLC. Then your business can rent the use of the trucks from the trucking LLC. Can't do that if they are leased . 5) If you have a really good year and want to buy a truck outright, you can expense the truck cost in that one year (Section 179 deduction...so if you make $100,000 and you don't want to pay taxes on $100,000, you can buy a truck for $20,000 and now you show $80,000 as income). You won't get to depreciate the truck over years (because you expensed it all in one year) but it will save you a bigger tax bill. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, those are my quick thoughts (and I'm not an accountant).
