    Embarrassed. When I heard he died, I told my daughter "The Green Grocer" died...the guy that used to be on tv when I was a kid showing off nice veggies. I honestly thought he was an ex-baseball player who was a paid spokesman for fresh vegetables back int he 70's and 80's. I'm so confused. RIP Joe G. (and Joe C. who died in 1988)
