  1. It's condensation you knucklehead. Follow me here: moisture in the air will transform into a solid form when the temperature rapidly increases from below 32 degrees to over 60 degrees. A glass bottle will retain cold temperature even when the room temp rises above 60. When this happens, moisture in the air will be drawn to the cold bottle and form water droplets around the side of the bottle. Another possible explanation: your roommate is using the long, narrow end of the bottle to pleasure himself while you are away and has the common decency to wash the bottle after he finishes (leaving water residue around the opening). Lesson: ask your mom to keep the temperature in the basement at a constant 64 degrees and buy Beerball his own bottle so he stops using yours as a sex toy.
  2. Thanks for your comments Bill. Look forward to reading your posts in all different threads. Go Bills!!
  3. Players want more money to play under current CBA. Owners want new stadium to make more money and meet the salary cap. Players want more money because it's unfair that the owner's have so much money. It's a viscious circle. The answer has to do with the next CBA: Roger needs to come up with a smart plan to slow outrageous salaries (e.g. $70 million to Osweiller) so the owners don't feel the need to build stadiums that will be used for 10 years until it is deemed "outdated".

  11. (not that there is anything wrong with a romp in the hay with a bovine as sultry and thick bodied as Martha) which reminded him to text Chef Jim and tell him about Martha...you see, Chef Jim really gets in to beef,...and lamb...and
  12. Actually it can. Wrestling coaches get to slide wrestlers up or down depending on the match up they want. Believe it or not, wrestling is 30% tribal and 70% brains. It really is. But I'm not here to argue that point. As far as basketball goes, it's a kick in the butt to lose by 100...should the coach for the team that was losing just quit at halftime and not go on the court? What kind of a message would that send?
  13. I saw my son get manhandled by Sectional champ when he was about 15. The other kid was built like a brick **** house and was an amazing wrestler. Afterward, my son was ok with it because he knew the kid was dedicated to wrestling and my son was more into acting/studies/fishing, etc. But as my son grew into wrestling, he had matches where he was the aggressor and was able to dominate someone else. Similarly, the kids on the losing team in this article will remember this game and will beat up on some other smaller team some day. I hate to say it but it's "the circle of life". It does suck, but it has been happening for years and years.
  14. Looks as though the Amish Rifle is hanging over the mantle collecting dust. Let's get this over with...
  15. Yes, but people have a habit of confusing the seed division of a company with the chemical division. The seed division spends millions of dollars hiring geneticists, constructing labs, greenhouses, etc. and creating a genetic sequence that is "unique" - if a farmer has to buy that seed and pay a premium for it, he does so because it yields a larger crop than standard seed. Intellectual property rights aside, the costs for the company are huge to get to that point. Believing the company should just give the seed away for free is left leaning IMO.
  16. A lefty will never admit they were wrong or confused. They will vehemently maintain a position even when science proves their stance is grounded in rhetoric and emotions. The GMO debate is just such an instance where people in small towns are buying into the "anti GMO" cause because their affluent/artsy neighbors boast about it at cocktail parties and lecture others on the "poisons" caused by GMO (not realizing that if you take one untreated seed and borrow certain superior genetic traits for another untreated seed, you are not creating poison...you are creating a superior seed that can tolerate drought, moisture, sun, shade, sand, winters and a large variety of slugs and pests). To actually discuss this in a logical way with an anti-GMOer is the challenge. They will not reconsider the science behind it because they are convinced (based on their indoctrination into the Church of All Things Left) that GMO = the end times.
  17. Very sorry to hear this. Not sure if he was racing or just didn't know how to operate a fast bike. Was he drinking? Drugs? Did someone follow him on another bike? Etc. Knowing the press and Schefty the Twit-terer - we'll find out much more in the days ahead. Hopefully the mainstream press guys respect the family before they start their "investigative" journalism.
  18. Last I saw PSU was at #1 and Iowa at #3 I think.
  19. Izzo...loved by the analysts for mediocre coaching. I don't get it. He's a choke artist...same with their football program.
  20. Those were some decent matches tonight. I only saw 160's through heavys but a lot of talented young men. Should be some great final matches tomorrow night.
