Referring to your poll, since you've apparently shut down all replies, I'm going to go with "Not religious, but don't really care if someone else is, and finding it hard to figure out how people can be offended by a name that is defined as 'a person acknowledged as holy or virtuous,' so that the New Orleans Saints are 'the virtuous people from New Orleans.' Also, the logo has its roots in slavery and colonialism, but in today's day and age is generally considered to be more a symbol of unity, so still having trouble why people are offended by the symbol.  Still willing to listen if people care to explain, though."
