  1. One key part missing. Marrone is far from "the boss".
  2. This would be a non issue if CK was a player day one. I'm not dating he won't then into a solid player for us, but as of now we would all be a little more comfortable with dropping out last 2 rather than next years first. That in top of what still looks like an atrocious offensive line. As far as immediate lay off goes it looks like a wasted pick.
  3. I would agree with you, except for the inability to use Spiller effectively. Also, and this is the big one, explain to me Woods over Hogan. Both these personnel decisions deserve FO intervention. At least in terms of explanation, because none of us can possibly find a sliver of it.
  4. The real miracle from St. Doug this year, will he if he is in Buffalo for the 2015 season. If he is, then the Bills will for sure be the first choice. The only way I see him staying us being over .500. I dont think 8-8 will cut it in terms of keeping his job.
  5. He's 1-3 against them both. Just FYI.
  6. I can tell this is very important because of all the italics. Thanks!
  7. I don't know how I forgot Kirwin in my first post. He much be my favorite. Although sometimes he sounds like a lame disc jockey with his tone. W-NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-B-C
  8. Hopefully it improves his Buffalo knowledge. I've found him almost always wrong about inside scoops in the Bills whenever he takes calls on national radio. I forgive him since he hasn't been intricately involved in Buffalo, rather the national media. He has reported the overarching information of the NFL as a whole very well. I was on the journalist page early but never checked back on it. He hasn't had his finger on the pulse of Buffalo for years. So a little surprised by that. Most likely a homer vote, not an accuracy vote. But hell, I'll always root for a Buffalo guy!
  9. I could be wrong, but didn't they struggle I. The beginning of the year with the new unotable receiving corps, but then play really well through the back end?
  10. I have satellite and I learn so much more about football and The Bills then I ever have on wgr. They take a couple calls per day on Buffalo, Ross Tucker and Polian are my favorites. Whenever Carucci comes on I switch.
  11. this board is always so smart. it is rough around here lately but i keep coming back
  12. Is this part sarcastic? Because Hackett has yet to show he is willing/proficient at running those plays. In fact, aren't those his two largest criticisms, along with exploiting weaknesses and working towards strengths. Given all that, I expect the Bills to pound CJ between the tackles for approximately 60 minutes.
  13. I would argue that you were never a fan to begin with. I don't give a shiiiite how many super bowls you went to. I stopped reading after that. Opinion no longer valid to me
  14. Can we just take a minute and take in the fact that Brandon Spikes is wearing a bathrobe. That might be an NFL first. I think I am in love. Ha
  15. I am with you brother. I have been around for a really long time, and I have almost never found this place so unbearable as it has been these past few weeks. You can't just keep running any player who isn't HOF within 18 months. You don't have to be a blind homer to see that. I really believe sometimes that Bills fans don't deserve nice things, based on how they carry themselves at times.
  16. Name one player that is openly defending others. It is generally not the way these pressers work. I understand the bit of frustration at the end of the Lions game. Guy was out there for about a quarter and almost had his head taken off due to his OL. Reports question whether he is good enough on a day where he did maybe the best of trying to stay strong and firm in the pocket, and deliver the ball down field. Dude was just trying to survive. If the presser would have gone something a little more henchmen like it would have looked like this. Tim G: Hey EJ, it looked like the O was really struggling out there from protection, to routes, to the running game, what happened. The response would be reasonable. EJ: You know we are all out there trying to win our own battles. We will take the next two weeks and try and get better at our roles. Even when the pressure is on, I have to be able to make plays, and so does everybody else. You know standard presser jargon. Can we stop the Orton nonsense. The dude seems to have lived like a frat boy the past few months. He is not an upgrade, we don't want him behind center. His most valuable asset is to help work with EJ in terms of what he is seeing
  17. I would have preferred Rex over Orton. Orton has checked out at this point in his career.
  18. The NFL is currently desperate for QB's. There isn't enough talent at the position to fill all 32 starting roles. No way his production is worth the cost, but you have to keep the commodity you have. QB contracts are starting to become really inflated. Lucks new deal will be interesting
  19. The most upsetting part about this is I would trade a 7th rounder for 3 years of the Pats playbook and no Mallet
  20. I don't think it is a log time. In fact I think any information regarding price and terms of the deal are pure speculation. I would imagine an NDA for a billion dollar transaction is air tight.
  21. Depends on if he is productive this year. If not he will want to walk.
  22. You took all the fun out of it
  23. I've been banging this drum forever and I am sure somebody will complain. Contact sport trainers generally have little knowledge of the intricacies of the body. Sammy took little to know contact on the ribs on the play a few weeks ago. Stress fracture, over use, non-contact. Also doesn't show up on extrays. Painful at fire, drastic improvement quickly, without proper stretching and strengthening it will nag anytime he increases range of motion. So if he is being treated for a bruise, and not strengthening the intercostals, which have weakened, then every time they engage they will put extra pressure back on the rib. This injury is also commonly misdiagnosed in sports that don't see it regularly. There is a chance all the work he did up to the combine, rookie camp, then our lengthened and more intense camp are the reason. It will continue to linger for weeks. Once the healing starts he is good to go, and it is just management of pain, restrengthening, and stretching.
  24. I know no huddle isn't a ToS enhancer, that is why I was curious about Peyton. The comment on Kelly wasn't ment to be a knock on him, but rather to reference if Mannings ability to manage the no huddle helps diminish that weakness at all. I totally agree on Boomer, but as I recall, they were the first to run it, and even beat the Bills in the AFC Championship game with it. More of a timeline than a commentary on the list. The overall point is that each guy has done it better than the next is all.
  25. well played sir
