  1. Normal response? IIRC this wasn't even an interview, Beane proactively called to mother fork them on the air. All Beane had to do was yell at his radio alone on his car like a normal person.
  2. Yeah, but have they: 1. Graduated from the University of Phoenix ONLINE! 2. Run a local hockey rink?
  3. I am higher than most on Knox. I think he has a place on this team. We've seen a couple of guys take pay cuts over the years in Miller/Milano. I'd like to extend Knox at a much more fair value.
  4. Agreed, I have been watching a bit of Chicago this year. I am constantly going ugh/whoops. The odds weren't really in our favor, tough task for an undersized LB corp hold up year after year. Also I think the league is becoming a bit more smashmouth compared to 5 years. That certainly isn't helping.
  5. But also our void years for 2026 are nearly 2x Tremaine Edmunds 2026 cap hit. I'm not necessarily saying Edmunds fixes anything/everything. But we do seem to be struggling with both starting LB positions. 2x Edmunds would be super helpful right now. So when you borrow from the future and then get it wrong it really compounds the issue.
  6. Whose the Buffalo Bills version of Kevyn Adams? Any former players or low level assistants, interns, etc that Terry is having secret meetings with?
  7. A little off topic, but if Miami is trying to get one last squeeze out of Tua they may go the Daboll route since they were both at Bama. I'm low on Daboll, so I am rooting for him to go to Miami.
  8. I sit directly opposite this in my tickets and we notice this often. On one hand were a 5 win team without Allen. On the other hand he seems super out of sync with the offense this year. He's not theeeee problem but he he's not playing on time either. This feels like 2018 Allen without the aggressiveness.
  9. I mean Beane says that Allen sends him loads of mock drafts in the off-season, pays attention to the senior bowl, etc. Allen confirmed all that. He also said Josh sat down and went through WR film with all the coaches, and then called Beane the morning of the draft to talk WR. So either Beane is making up it all up and Allen is nodding his head, or the truth lies somewhere well above "company man" and well below "Josh Allen held a gun to Brandon Beanes head before making the selection".
  10. "Something, something, something, Cap Hell, something something" - Brandon Beane, 2017
  11. Sorry, I said TD's but I was using total points. He has only had 2 seasons of his 12 years as OC/HC where he was top half in both points and yards. Of those 12 years, 6 were with Allen, Jones (current leader in passing yards), and Barkley...again, only figured a way to be top half in yards/points twice. That is bonkers. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/DaboBr0.htm
  12. I will say it for like the 4th time in this thread. In Dabolls 12 years as HC/OC in the league, his offenses have only been in the top half of scoring and yards twice. TWICE. in his entire career. 12 years 4 years with Josh Allen 2 years with Jones (#1 in Passing Yards) and Barkley.
  13. His personality is the worst part about him as a HC/OC. Lol
  14. It wasn't even off of the bye. It was totally dependent on who we were playing. The sales pitch was that we would attack defenses at their weakest points. So if they struggled with zone we'd man up and visa versa. It's a move by somebody who fancies themselves the smartest guy in the room. Not move made by a guy whose actually the smartest guy in the room. Not shocking he only has two years ever as either a HC or OC where his offenses were ranked top half in both yards and points.
  15. What if I told you that Brian Daboll has only ever had two season as HC/OC where his offense finished in the top half of the league in both yards and TD's. Just 2. Mind you he had Allen for 4 years ...
