  1. Are you sure?!?!?! I mean the Bills could get a load of quality players with all the draft capital, who then eventually walk in FA.
  2. Why would any self-respecting team in the top 5 trade with the Pats**? The Giants certainly don't get along with the Pats** and I'm sure the Broncos don't either.
  3. And they can afford them, the ones they deem important. They also have Goff for another 2 years after 2019 before he's due a big payday, so guys they sign next year could eat up a lot of their 2019/2020 salary cap. Then they'll have space for Goff, if he carries on improving.
  4. Not really mortgaging their future. Were they going to get a receiver at #23 with Cooks ability? Probably not. As it sits now they have $81m in cap space for 2019, which doesn't include about $8m in rollover. They could easily sign Cooks and Donald to long term contracts. Suh seems like a 1-year rental anyways and then they still have their picks for 2019. Having Goff on a rookie deal allows them to do all sorts of moving and shaking.
  5. This. Plus you aren't just going to bring in only guys you plan on drafting. If plans change they have to be ready. Whaley used to do the same thing. He brought in Watkins even though it was thought they had no shot at him and brought in guys that would be available around the BIlls original pick.
  6. The Pats trade a 1 for Cooks then flip him for a 1. Crazy.
  7. I mean it was 17 years previously... so I think you may be underestimating.
  8. Uh, what? Of course he has a financial interest, it's his reputation and getting the top QBs to come to his "camp." You think if Palmer does all this PR and puts them through this "camp" and that QB gets drafted low that that won't affect what clients he gets? And which agents decide to go to him?
  9. So bad... yet so good.
  10. Im not even sure it’s bad... it’s a hilarious movie. The scene with Justin Long in the hospital, I was crying when I first saw it.
  11. Saw it today and have to agree. Just a nice, enjoyable, easy to watch film with tons of pop culture references.
  12. I like it too, it's great. Funny thing is in a month Rosen will have a job and Mora will still be unemployed.
  13. Really? Mora says he's a millennial that needs to know why and Rosen tweets "Why", which is certainly directed at Mora while being a bit playful. He's acknowledging what Mora has said and then putting it back in his face again.
  14. Yea Mora was more of a shut up and throw type coach... as he knew his ass was on the line.
  15. Right and he's asking why... and Mora knocks him for that. Like asking why is a bad thing.
  16. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/story/_/id/23002211/former-ucla-coach-jim-mora-says-quarterback-josh-rosen-needs-challenged-reach-potential
  17. He's a prima donna cause he asks why? http://www.espn.com/blog/denver-broncos/post/_/id/13394/peyton-mannings-words-have-been-direct-and-to-the-same-points Guess Peytons was a prima donna too. He also came from a family with money and had his share of college mishaps. The character assassination of Rosen is ridiculous.
  18. Peyton Manning asked why a lot and questioned his coaches. I can't remember which of Peytons coaches came out recently and said as much in reference to Rosen asking the "whys".
  19. I’m not convinced the Broncos will take Mayfield. Apparently things didn’t go well at the Senior Bowl between the coaches and Mayfield. Not saying Mayfield doesn’t go at 5, because he might... just don’t think the Broncos are who takes him. In any case this all an opinion of a friend of John Dorseys. Kind of odd that he would put this out there.
  20. But can El Pegual own both an NHL and an NFL team in the same city?
  21. I'm not really saying the Bills wanting a QB is a smokescreen, it's more or less who they want. They have now been linked to all 5 top QBs, so all of this "coveting" of QB X is, for lack of a better word, a smokescreen.
  22. The problem I have with this is, do the Bills want this out there? They have been ridiculously tight lipped and then someone here's its Allen they covet, now its Mayfield according to Jeremys Sabres guy. Just seems too much like purposely planting it.
  23. And you failed... nice try though. The money spent on Williams didn’t limit the Bills from getting Watt or Mack one bit, so you were wrong there. Watt never hit free agency and was extended before that was even possible. Mack was drafted... what does that have to do with Williams salary? The Bills decided to draft Sammy Watkins instead and funny enough the year Mack was drafted Williams was a first team all pro. Hilarious that the list of people you could come up with was literally 2 guys.
