Inordinate Amount of Focus on Quarterback
Wayne Cubed replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’ve just listed 3 defenseman who haven’t won a Super Bowl and haven’t lifted their teams past the first round of the playoffs. Amazing. Yes let’s get one of them ? instead of QB. -
Inordinate Amount of Focus on Quarterback

I just can’t believe these threads. What is with all this fear? The Bills have filled holes, drafted can’t miss prospects and where has that got them in the past 20 years? You know what they haven’t done,? -
Does your company close under real bad weather?
Wayne Cubed replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The company I work for let’s department heads decide if employees need to come in. One department head didn’t allow their employees to bring their laptops home but has promised an “executive lunch” for all those that show up. Unfortunatley the head of my department hasn’t said employees can’t work from home, I don’t have a laptop, but if you don’t come in you have to use a vacation day or forfeit pay for the day. -
Not at all. Apparently this poster seems to think completion percentage is the same as accuracy. Qb 1 throws 5 passes, all 5 the WR has to extend himself to catch and isn’t able to run after the catch. He completes 4. Qb 2 throws 5 passes, all 5 are right on the numbers and hit the WR in stride. The WR drops 3. He completes 2 passes. Its really not hard to see.

Kind of surprised that he's come in bigger than Darnold. Always thought Darnold was the bigger of the two. -
Yea, the speed of light is only slightly less through air, warmer air, and is slightly lesser through cooler air. I guess my coment was more a comment on how a guy like Rowbotham who didn’t account for these differences and thus concluded the Earth was flat, when in reality he was seeing a mirage caused by Total Internal Reflection.

So much wrong with your "experiment" where to even start... - The Sun isn't a flashlight or a spot light for that matter, the Sun emits light in all directions. You can't use a flashlight, which is brightest in the center, to emulate the sun and then conclude that there is a spot that is bright in the center your "moon". - Light is traveling differently in your living room when compared to how light travels through a vacuum, like space. - Your scale, the size of the Moon compared to Sun and distance of the Moon from the Sun, is way off. How you can perform an (flawed) "experiment" in your living room and conclude that Earth is flat because a flashlight bounces light of a balloon which makes you think the Moon is flat, I think(?), is beyond me. Let me ask you, those phases, you know ones caused by the Earths shadow, whats causing that if the Earth isn't spherical and is in fact flat?

I’m not defending Goodell here, but I’m sure you understand that Jones threats did in fact cost the league and it’s owners money. Jones hired a lawyer and was ready to sue, which in turn then caused the league to hire lawyers and prepare to defend itself. I’m sure that pissed a lot of the other owners off. And it’s not a fine, it’s rembursement. Almost like a being an !@#$ fee.

Oh and I don’t either. If they can find an UDFA QB, I’m fine with that. The amount of depth they need, I just can’t see it happening this draft year. There are starting holes AND depth that need filling. I suppose if the teams depth looked better, I would be opposed to a 5th or 6th round pick.

Not that it was 2 draft picks but the Bills did it in 2013. EJ Manuel and Jeff Tuel.

Eagles Use Fake Walk Through Before SB
Wayne Cubed replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apparently it is a tough one, for you. It’s a walk through. The names in the title. They aren’t doing excercise. They can’t, per the CBA. So every SB team who’s faced the Pats since Spygate is just out there for gamesmanship? They are all just doing walkthroughs, when they certainly don’t have to, just to maybe fool the Pats? And their time couldn’t possibly be spent better doing something else? It couldn’t possibly be that after Spygate some teams believed that video taping and watching was over, you know since the NFL fined them for it? And therefore they did actual walkthroughs, like they do every other week when they arent playing the Pats? -
Eagles Use Fake Walk Through Before SB
Wayne Cubed replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know what the long snapper said, I get that they were trying deceive the Patriots. That’s not my point. If this is SOP, then the Pats have to know that they are being deceived at this point. And if other teams have done it, and the Pats know it’s for deception, why do it at all? Why waste the players times? Unless, the Pats didn’t know they were being deceived because it has actually worked before. They've gotten real plays from it. -
QB's... Where they land... Story on NFL.com

Feels like punting from the Bills 37 on 4th and 1 down 6 with just over 3 minutes to go... -
Eagles Use Fake Walk Through Before SB
Wayne Cubed replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And as Dan said previously, why do a walk through at all then ? What purpose does it serve if you aren’t really doing plays you’ll use? You’d just not do the walk through. No reason to march you team out to the field just to have them wander around doing plays they’ll never use. There are much, much more effective uses of the players time leading up to a Super Bowl. -
Josh McDaniels Withdraws from Colts' HC Job
Wayne Cubed replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your last 2 points, he knew these 3 weeks ago, when he accepted the job. And he knew them when he was packing his stuff up Tuesday morning. QB Controversy? If the Colts know his shoulder is bum, they've accepted that they need to replace Luck. The pressure to replace Luck? Please. How about the pressure of taking over, if that what was promised to him, for the greatest football coach ever AND replacing the best QB ever? Yea he obviously chose the situation with less pressure -
Josh McDaniels Withdraws from Colts' HC Job
Wayne Cubed replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could easily be that or he knows he'll have the Pats** job in a year or something. He's an idiot for staying though. He won't have Brady when he gets the job, he probably won't have the #3 pick. Yea, maybe the Pats** are a better run organisation but man is he going to have a tough job following up the greatest football coach ever. -

Not buying the Andrew Luck narrative. The Colts have the #3 pick. If Luck shoulder really is bust, he still could have picked one at #3. And if he can't win without a QB in place, that says all you need to know about him.
