The fact that Belichick has picked his brain a bit has me a bit makes me hesitant as well about Chip. If it were any other team that the Bills didn't play 2 times a year it would be fine. But that means Belichick is studying Chip and figuring him and his style out. Is that really the best situation to bring Chip into? Huh? This years top QB huh? If there was a definite number 1 QB this year he certainly wouldn't go outside the top 5 and even losing the best the Bills would have picked would be at 6. Now they are at worst picking at 10, maybe at 8 or 9 if they are lucky.

While normally I might agree. This draft is completely different than the last 2. There is no clear cut number 1 QB. In fact I'm doubtful a Qb goes number 1 overall. Maybe not in the top 5 at all. The Bills might be in the perfect position to get the 2nd best QB in the draft. Who knows?

I think a lot of "rationale" posters point the blame at multiple places. Some weeks it was the defense, some weeks it was Chan's decision making and some weeks it was Fitz.
