  1. That's not the point of this exercise. The point which was proven in another thread, regardless of which position is picked very few teams picking in the top 10 have yielded Super Bowls over the past 15 years.
  2. Yea because picking OL in the top 10 has yielded tons of Super Bowls. In the past 15 years at total of 1 OL picked in the top 10 has contributed to a Super Bowl and only 1 team that picked an OL in the top 10 has even been to the Super Bowl.
  3. Wheel route to Frank Summers with Lee Smith out front blocking.
  4. If anything it could entice FA QB's or players to come here knowing a player like Watkins is on the roster.
  5. Against Miami, Yes. He was injured the first 4 games. Unless you wanna play the imaginary game of "maybe he doesn't get hurt if he is on the Bills". And probably Detroit as well because he didn't come into his first game as a gang buster.
  6. We aren't talking championships. You said "individual players don't win games...." You said nothing about championships. But even then, I'd say you were wrong.
  7. Soooooooo then QB play doesn't matter. QB's don't win games or carry teams, right?
  8. You only know that because of hindsight. Tell us all who the next best players will be in the 2015 draft that the Bills will be missing out on.
  9. Fact is every year 32 teams pick in the first round and of those 32 picks 1 or 2 may possibly turn into elite talent. Five might turn into very good and maybe 5 more are just good/serviceable. That's 20 players that probably won't be any good. So I think the real fact is the draft is a crap shoot, there are very few guarantee's. Sammy Watkins is as close to a guarantee as it gets and if given the chance to pick a "close to guarantee" teams would choose to do that every time. EDIT: And the reason why they are so valuable is because it increases the chances of landing a very good talent, it does not guarantee it. Just ask the Browns about the picks they used from the Julio Jones trade.
  10. Yea man look out for all those 1 handed amazing catches because only elite talent can make those plays...
  11. How many games has Beckham won for the Giants? I'll wait.
  12. Three players? What are you on? The trade for Watkins is for 2 players. You can't count the #10 pick this year as giving up a player. The Bills still picked a player. Watkins. You can compare him to who they would have picked at 10, which was apparently Ebron. The Bills essentially choose Watkins OVER Ebron. And what does having a franchise QB have to do with acquiring elite talent? So the Bills should never get elite talent because they don't have a franchise QB? What has AJ Green done for Dalton? What has Megatron done for Stafford? Franchise QBs don't grow on trees, there were arguably none to pick from for the Bills. There were none in FA. So the only way to improve the offense and a position that the Bills were severely lacking in was go get Watkins. Could you make an argument for Evans? Sure. But they would have had to trade picks to get him. Beckham was never going to be the pick and if he was he misses the first 4 games and the Bills possibly loose at Chicago.
  13. Vikings/Giants game that got moved in 2010 got 45k. They gave the tickets away for that game for free.
  14. Going off of precedent, when the Vikings played the Giants in 2010, tickets were free. They got 45,000 in attendance. Maybe they do something like that again.
  15. Well if I had to guess, I would almost guarantee they put it out to their digital subscribers as well. But in the off chance they don't, you might get lucky with your local CBS affiliate. john_kucko‏@john_kucko Here's #Bills TV deal. CBS offering game to secondary markets. It's up to those stations whether to air it. Buffalo/Rochester WILL air. I can't see anyting on Monday night on CBS that would generate as much viewers as a NFL game.
  16. I was pretty sure as well. They did it last time.
  17. @DIRECTV Great News! NFL will allow Jets-Bills to air via Sunday Ticket live Monday 7 ET. In New York/buffalo, check CBS. Official tweet.
  18. Mike Rodak ‏@mikerodak 3m3 minutes ago Bills TV MT @john_kucko: CBS offering game to secondary markets. It's up to those stations whether to air it. Buffalo/Rochester WILL air.
  19. Why is that? What about that post makes it seem like I have a screw loose? Shall we talk about what wonderful inaccurate contributions you've added to this thread?
  20. But they let it happen last time. So why would that change?
  21. ESPN has done it before and the only stipulation was that they were able to show updates from the other game. But if they want to be a bunch of complete jerks, that would be a very poor choice.
  22. I think DirecTV would want to show it, if not they are loosing a game and also CBS is loosing loads of viewers. Ultimately it's up to the NFL, which in the past they have shown the game on Sunday ticket. It would be beyond stupid if they didn't do that again.
