  1. Just went through DirecTV's feed don't see anything where they tweeted @ someone about the game. I went back 4 days.
  2. I see what you are getting at, nationally televised, as in Fox show's it themselves. I doubt that would happen.
  3. Again, they said the same thing when Vikings/Giants game in 2010 was moved to Monday night: http://blogs.courant.com/roger_catlin_tv_eye/2010/12/no-giantsvikings-on-local-tv-t.html "Fans in New York and Minnesota will be allowed to see it, but everyone else in the country will have to wait until midnight, when it will replay on the NFL Network. If you get the NFL Network." But then they annouced it was going to be played nationally: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2010/12/12/vikings-giants-game-to-air-in-teams-home-markets/ "It will also be available nationally through DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket package." I'd say there is precedent and there is a pretty good chance it gets shown.
  4. I would suggest that means very little. http://blogs.courant.com/roger_catlin_tv_eye/2010/12/no-giantsvikings-on-local-tv-t.html That first came out saying it wouldn't be showed nationally... Then it was showed nationally.
  5. Can it be on DirecTV and Terry Pegula own the Bills?
  6. Again, not true. http://minnesota.cbs...s-home-markets/ When the Vikings played the Giants in 2010, the game was moved to Monday night. DirecTV Sunday ticket broadcast the game.
  7. They haven't announced that they aren't putting it on Sunday Ticket, so why are you pissed?
  8. It seems like there is some confusion about which games were moved in 2010. There were actually 2. So lets break it down: On 12th of December 2010, the Metrodome's roof collapsed. Game was scheduled for Sunday afternoon on Fox. It was moved to Monday night in Detroit against the Monday Night Football game Ravens/Texans. Fox/ESPN came to an agreement whereby ESPN could show updates of the game while the game was going on. http://minnesota.cbs...s-home-markets/ Then Philadelphia had a huge snowstorm Sunday 26th of December. The Vikings were scheduled to play the Eagles Sunday night. They moved the game to Tuesday night. Now, these games are 2 different scenarios. I imagine on this short of notice, they weren't able to get the stadium in Philly cleared out by Monday night so Tuesday was probably the only option. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/27/sports/football/27eagles.html?_r=0
  9. Doubt that, they'd have to come to some sort of agreement with CBS. I don't think CBS would want to give up the rights.
  10. Incorrect, it was a Monday night game. Went up against Ravens/Texans game on ESPN. http://minnesota.cbs...s-home-markets/ http://scores.espn.g...ameId=301213016 http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=301213034 Both played on the 13th of December, which was a Monday. There is precedent for this happening and I'd say there is a pretty good chance this gets shown on DirecTV. Funny that the Vikings/Giants game took place in Detroit as well. The game was played on a Monday, went up against a Monday Night Football game and was still shown on Directv.
  11. Not true at all. Take a look at what happened to the Vikings-Giants game in 2010. Moved to Monday night after a snow storm. http://minnesota.cbs...s-home-markets/ "The game, originally set to air regionally on Fox on Sunday afternoon, will be shown on the networks’ affiliates in New York City and Minneapolis, as well as Mankato and Rochester in Minnesota and Albany in New York. The game will start at 7:20 p.m" "It will also be available nationally through DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket package" EDIT: Obviously that isn't a guarantee but there is precedent and I'd say unless they want to piss people off, they'll do the same thing they did then.
  12. Agreed. I've often gone back and watched games after the emotions have run their course. When he had time to sit in the pocket he rushed his throws or was way off target or took the check down. He made the occasional nice throw, but they were very few and far between. He just didn't have command of the offense. The best thing for the Bills would be if EJ somehow turned into a good QB. But the worry is the accuracy. I think that's tough to fix and may not be fixable at all.
  13. I saw all the posts but missed the meltdown in the Box O' Shout. Bummer.
  14. I'll just leave this here as well, for all those who have to believe what Sully is saying.
  15. Again, the word expected versus would. And who said I ignored it? The poster said Whaley guaranteed the pick would be low. Whaley never said such a thing. He completely misquoted his meaning. I have absolutely no problem with Whaley expecting it to be a low pick and didn't ignore that at all. That equivalent to expecting the playoffs. Every team has lofty expectations like that.
  16. I'll just leave this here: "The Bills should have cut Dareus on Saturday and been done with him...." http://www.buffalone...ten-up-20140603 oh and this too: http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?aid=/20121003/sports/121009696/1082 Jerry Sullivan would make an excellent GM.
  17. He's conveniently ignored that and moved on to another point. So basically he didn't say what you said. Thats not twisting words because the 2 statements have different meanings. Would (past tense of will) - expressing inevitable events. Expect - to look forward to; Nice try.
  18. To the bold: Where did he state that? And if the Bills finish 9-7 it could put the Browns pick low first round, so thats a bit premature saying it didn't work out.
  19. A big game against a terrible secondary. One of the worst in the league in fact. QB's have a 65% completion and 7.6 YPA. Add to that he's usually matched up against the #2 CB. To be fair to Evans though he has had 3 really great games in a row. It'll be interesting to see if he can carry it forward. The Bucs have Chicago coming up this week, so he could have another big game.
  20. Because of 2 things, first Cleveland came out and said if they didn't trade out of the spot Watkins would have been the pick. Meaning Evans would still have been the pick for Tampa. Second, Whaley has said that if they stayed at 9, Ebron was going to be the pick so Benjamin or Beckman wasn't ever going to be the pick. They clearly didn't have those 2 players rated at 9 and either did any other teams.
  21. Gotcha. So I'll say 8-18
  22. The only problem I could see is a lot of players jog across the field. So it depends on where the other teams locker room is located and how the other team needs to get there. The players tend to cross the field if they have to, so you'd have scenario where there would be too many men on the field, which is a dead ball foul, so you wouldn't be able to snap it.
  23. I'm sorry do I know you? What exactly am I wrong about?
  24. Sounds like a Raiders move all the way. Suppose it depends on the Coach if they do or don't do it but I could certainly see a new coach wanting "his guy".
