I absolutely love when you trot these posts out and right on cue you do. THE BILLS FELL BEHIND. You can't keep running the ball playing from behind. No amount of coaching is going to make Orton throw more accurately. He's missing wide open guys. Hell, he's choosing not to throw to wide open guys. His 4 best games are when the OL played the worst, his 4 worst games are when the OL played the best. He is a mess. With average QB this team is an 11 win team.

Not going to happen. Trading for him would certainly cost a fairly high draft pick and then the trading team would be on the books for $13MM. He's good, but he hasn't proved himself enough yet for that kind of money.
-
They would owe him something like $13MM and his cap hit is something like $16MM, they could save the $13MM if they cut ties with him. No one will trade for him for the $13MM.
-
Oh yea? And how would you prove someone wasn't or was running a route? So, you are wrong. In fact most pick plays occur when to receivers run crossing routes. Unless of course you believe they break the huddle and tell one receiver to run a route and the other one to just "run around" and hope you run into someone.

Pack Bills Predicion; Please include score
Wayne Cubed replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like I said above, Green Bay averages 22.5 pts on the road, I don't think they put up 40 either. Not saying the Bills win, but they did just hold the 5th best scoring offense under their average score at home of 33.7. -
Pack Bills Predicion; Please include score

The pack don't score nearly as many points away from the Tundra, they average 22.5 points on the road, which includes playing a horrible Bears defense. Still the Bills would have a tough time putting up 22.5 points and only average 22 points at home but the defense holds teams to 16 points on average. If the Bills are going to win it'll be something like 20-17 or 21-20. -
And that is a pick. Once the ball has been thrown towards a player, other players who the ball wasn't thrown at cant run their routes and impeded the progress of a defender. If said other player has caught the ball sure, they can block the player so long as it's not 5 yards or more downfield from where the ball was caught. They don't call it everytime but the "paranoia" all the refs are against the Bills crowd doesn't realize they do in fact miss calls the other way.

I've watches it four times.. It's a pick. The ball is in the air, Sammy impedes Talibs ability to get to Hogan while the ball is in the air. That is the definition of a pick. He ran his rout purposely toward Talib but the timing was wrong. If the ball hadnt been thrown yet it's defensive pass interference or illegal contact. But the ball is in the air.
-
Also Seattle and New England* are ahead of the Bills.
-
So scoring TDs isn't a stat? And by saying very solid production, your words, how would you gauge that? Yards? TDs?
-
Right, so stats matter and are not stupid for Mike Williams but they don't matter for Chris Hogan. There's nothing wrong with that statement because at this point in time MW has better stats. It's the basis for why you think he should be playing.
-
On the Hogan TD, Sammy Watkins could have been easily called for an illegal pick. He ran right into Talib, who's responsibility was to contain on that side of the field. He ran into Talib while the ball was in the air to Hogan.
-
Yea I did. Which is why I think your statement isn't accurate. If Williams didn't score TDs or put up yards in TB would you be defending his "right" to play? His previous TDs, which is a stat, is stupid?
-
I think that may have been where the blow up on the field came from. I don't have any inside info but in my mind it makes sense. Whaley says he's signed Palmer, Marrone is unhappy and says its not good enough.
-
Unfortunately there is one position, the most important, where there is a glaring hole in talent. Is that Marrone's fault? Very few coaches are "QB whisperers" and I think with even a competent QB this offense looks a lot better. That certainly does not mean Marrone is without fault. His in game decisions are frustrating beyond belief.

Dudes a beast.

Yup. 8.

Sorry but I'm gonna call you out on this. Stats are often stupid? So how is it that you know Mike WIlliams is better than Hogan? Could it possibly be that Mike Williams put up good "numbers/stats" in TB and that's why you think he's better? Otherwise putting stats aside their measurables are fairly similar: Chris Hogan: Height: 6'1" Weight: 221 40 time: 4.5 secs (10 yard split 1.57) Bench press: 28 reps 3-cone drill: 6.75 secs Mike Williams: Height: 6'2" Weight: 221 40 time: 4.53 secs (10 yard split 1.53) Bench press: 8 reps 3-cone drill: 6.9 secs All of this matters very little if the QB throwing the ball can't throw it accurately. So you can argue until you are blue in the face that Marrone is leaving the "better" player on the bench, although he was injured, but I think you are almost certainly using past performance (stats) to make that judgement.

Johnny Football. Meet the Meatball.
Wayne Cubed replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do see where they think he is trying to throw it but then the ball AND his arm come back in towards his body. He was trying to tuck it. He knew. The refs on the field knew it. Terrible call in that there isn't conclusive evidence to overturn it. -
Report: Harbaugh very likely gone [update: now gone]
Wayne Cubed replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah yes, Harbaugh will come in a fix the Bills offensive woes with his 32nd ranked RedZone offense. The guys a cultural changer but is hardly the offensive genius people build him up to be. His schtick gets old after a couple years ala Rex Ryan. -
Why I think Marrone should be fired...
Wayne Cubed replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The scoring percentage I listed is TDs only, so again they are not the worst in the league in TDs inside the RedZone. That belongs to SF who is coached by Harbaugh, whom some want here. -
Official 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' thread

Yea I would say it's more footage than I expected considering priciple filming just finished but obviously way less than a trailer. Surprised by the amount of CGI that's finished as well. I remember during the Super Bowl the Dark Knight teaser was just the Batman symbol with flashes of light breaking it apart and Michael Caine doing a voice over. That's it.
