  1. The difference is in acceleration after the handoff. He’s able to hit the hole, when it’s actually open, instead of being a step or two slower and missing it.
  2. It's odd because last season, they did run a more traditonal 4-3 against the Pats**. It's either arrogance or they don't trust their depth.
  3. I'm surprised they didn't even give it a shot. On the first couple drives seeing Taylor run over the DBs wasn't very good and the DBs just weren't in good positions to make tackles either. Guess they REALLY don't like Dodson on the field.
  4. GunnerBill and I talked about it in Game Day thread. It's really about not having Edmunds. Not having 3 good/healthy LBs may is what forced it. The Bills coaches preferred to have Johnson on field to Tyrel Dodson. Think it says more about what they think about their LB depth.
  5. The Colts can just run the ball and control clock. We got 3 possessions in first half. The defense needs to figure something out.
  6. I literally just rewatched it.. it wasn’t 50 yards. He throws from the 17 yard line, it’s caught at the Cowboys 46. That’s 37 yards in the air. 30 yards, statistically.
  7. I agree they are solid. Well coached, with a very good defense and offense that limits mistakes. Saying that they are an overhyped solid.
  8. Sell out to stop the run. Come out of the base nickel defense and go with 3 LBs. Taylor can beat the Bills, I don't think Wentz can.
  9. Yea I get that. They've attempted to run 20 personnel, I-formation kind of plays and it just hasn't worked either. When players aren't executing it's really difficult to say a change of formation/personnel is going to do anything. Plus in the previous week, they went to more 11 personnel in the second half against that Cover 2 and beat it. They even went with 6 OL in 11 personnel, taking Sweeney off, and the play was still blown up.
  10. I don't really find it that weird. The Bills ran 11 personnel something like 75% of the time last year. It's their bread and butter personnel wise and what they should be doing. I guess it's weird that it was every single play but it's their strength on offense. They did run 11 with an extra OL instead of TE on a couple occasions.. which didn't work, so there's that.
  11. I mean there is a video going around and it’s her threatening to take her gun out and shoot Dalvin… no idea when it happened in the timeline of events.
  12. This!! They are massively missing YAC from their recievers, minus Diggs. The short passing game isn't working because their literally is no threat of YAC. It was massively apparent on Sunday vs Jax. Allen was passing underneath but Beasely, Singletary, Moss and Sweeney were not hurting the Jax defense with the YAC.
  13. And you may be correct, that's why I said maybe it's something to do with what they are asked to do in their run blocking within this scheme. The point still remains this current OL can't run block. And I think it's highly unliking at this point Daboll or Johnson is going to completely change how they've been teaching the OL to run block. I just don't think they have the time to do it in season. Also, I'm wondering why Feliciano was allowed to lose weight.
  14. So, give up trying to win the game? I don't follow. They were in FG range 2 times and Josh fumbled the ball on one, when Singletary would have picked up the first down. The other one Josh threw an interception on a short pass toe Beasely. On 2nd down in FG range they did run Moss, for no gain. Sounds like what you really want is for Josh to do a better job protecting the ball.
  15. Not being funny but we have tried a couple 21 and 22 personnel and it just does not work. This OL, certainly the one playing yesterday, can not run block. Or maybe they can't run block the way the offense is designed to run block. I'm not sure. Daboll needs to figure out how to punish teams in that Cover 2 shell with 11 personnel. And maybe Knox coming back will help them because it was obvious Josh doesn't have a lot of confidence in Sweeney.
  16. They didn't really run 10 personnel that much last season. Only like 15% of the time. They ran 11 personnel the most, nearly 71% of the time. Gabe was getting Browns catches last year, that's really nuts and bolts of it. Also, it makes more sense to run 11 with the emergence of Dawson Knox. They can attack the seam.
  17. Gab Davis was getting the balls that John Brown was meant to get last season. With Brown not being healthy, he saw more of the ball. Now, Sanders is getting those balls.
  18. Or the OL is awful and Daboll has to question what he can and can't call. If your OL is so awful that you aren't sure if they will hold up or not, how are you meant to know what you can call? You can't run an organic sequence of plays when on one play the Bills OL actually holds protection and then on the next play it's a jail break. And to the previous poster, the Bills offense is not a screen game type offense. Odd for Wood to say that. @GunnerBill put in another post that the Bills ran 15 screen plays against Miami, to little or no effect.
