  1. For this scenario, Sal has said that everything financilally is released immidiatelely, so no amortizing. I'm not exactly sure how it would practically happen.
  2. Well said and I agree. It's almost as if the producers heard about Lord & Miller, did no background research on their abilities and what they had directed/wrote, and said "Yea! Let's get those guys in here!"
  3. Yea I'm not sure it's sustainable. Stafford had 8 last season and Carr had 7. If you look at Rodgers and Brady, they had 1 and 2 respectively. I think I put Carr in that Stafford type category.
  4. Yea, I'm with you on that too. Why not let Lord and Miller make the movie you hired them to make? Or if you are worried about a movie becoming too comical don't hire guys that are known for directing and writing comedy films like The Lego Movie which was one liners after one liners. On a side note I love Lord and Miller for Clone High, such an underrated show.
  5. Nope, sorry he didn't... And besides that Kurt Warner wasn't drafted, so there's that.
  6. Yea and so was Kurt Warner, who the OP mentions. So it really should read, besides Kurt Warner and Tony Romo...
  7. Tony Romo? Yup just checked, he made $127 million.
  8. I wouldn't say he had an angle, when the ball went off Nelson's hands A. Williams was about even with Nelson and about 6 yards away (picture for reference). We will never know but it's possible Nelson could have run away from him in a foot race, he had the room. Btw, Corey Graham completely blew the coverage on that play and A. Williams had to come all the way over from the other safety position.
  9. And if they did, the Bills would say "thank you very much" and drop $66m of the Salary Cap.
  10. Yea, it's a tough one because of Han Solo the character. I could see where the directors would kind of want to make it a bit more comedic but for me Han Solo is more cocky than comedic. I think the first Iron Man is a good example, Tony Stark is cocky which has humor to it because of how over the top he is.
  11. It's a weird one that's for sure. McDermott had remote Training Camps with the Panthers. McDermott's protege Reid with the Chiefs and Eagles has/had remote training camps. I'm pretty sure McDermott his entire career, while an assistant coach in the NFL, has had remote training camps.
  12. Yea, pretty much this. He seems like he's saying all the right things but is he a conservative coach? Is he progressive? We have no idea.
  13. I've heard the difference between the directors and Disney has been about the humour and tone of the film. Disney execs have thought the movie was getting to comedic and not being serious enough.
  14. Seriously? His comedy definitely changed... he went from characters like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and Little Nicky which were all very crude and immature to RomComs like 50 First Dates, Just Go With It and Blended. His characters became less crude and his comedies like Grown Ups and Funny People had more serious undertones. Yea I guess Jack and Jill and That's My Boy are attempts to be crude/goofy again but the characters are just awful and the story is horrible. Adam Sandler '95-'98 I don't think would have done the RomComs he does now or the comedies. The characters just aren't good and are different. Just my opinion though.
  15. I'm wondering how much the outcome of that game changes if Jordy Nelson doesn't drop that wide open pass, it probably would have resulted in a TD. In fact, Rodgers receivers were doing him no favours that game.
  16. Sal has said 2 from each team, to help them get to 90.
  17. Yea I agree with that. Sal's pick of Dawkins, who will play RT and hasn't played a down in the NFL, is a bit of an odd choice.
  18. I think the thought process is because Dareus's contract is so bad, financially, with cap hits of $16m for the next 3 years the expansion team wouldn't select him. And if they did it would clear $66m off of the Bills cap. Do you believe Dareus has played up to the contract he was given?
  19. I like that list better than Sals. He was exposing 3 out of the 4 starting DL, all the LBs and still wanted to remain competive. The expansion team, if running a 3-4, could snatch up Hughes and Dareus and the Bills would be left with a starting DL of Kyle Williams, Shaw Lawson, Adolphus Washington and ?
  20. Haha, that's the one on Lincoln Blvd in Venice. Used to live right around the corner from it and only ever went in there 1 time in 6 years. And yea the parking lot is ridiculous.
  21. Used to really like Sandler and the gang he used in his films like Dante, Allen Covert and Nick Swardson. Who all went on to make a hilarious movie Grandmas Boy. His best comedic films were Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Wedding Singer and Water Boy. Big Daddy, Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds were ok. He's good in Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish. Unfortunately his comedies now are money grabs and he hasn't had a funny new character in I can't remember how long.
  22. My favorite Bills memory with my Dad is "The Greatest Comeback Ever" game. My Uncle has had season tickets in section 131 for 30 years and will get up and walk out when the game isn't going well. He usually just goes and sits in the car and waits for my dad and I. My dad refuses to leave games early and has always been like that. He always says "You wouldn't leave a movie early would you?" And if I ever see a crappy movie at home I do turn them off before they are done, I've honestly never left a theatre early. It's a game and experience I'll never forget. Thanks Dad and hopefully I can share the same experiences with my daughter.
  23. Such a good, underrated movie. Christopher Lloyd is very good in it too.
  24. Fact: I knew that. So hopefully he's the backup QB by the end of this season, just like Brady was in his rookie year.
