  1. Logged in a bit late, like what I saw so far! How was the Jets first drive? Missed it
  2. KW is getting up there in age, and Dareus is young, and a top 5 DT. If we don't try to keep him, then we don't have an interest in winning football games.
  3. I see the teams as pretty equal in talent, so it'll really come down to the Jets having home field, and whichever team takes care of the ball.
  4. Dareus all the way. That's why you put clauses and incentives in the contract.
  5. Probably McLovin, he's got the most experience.
  6. Players should be getting paid, period. The fact that students get in trouble for getting some sort of compensation is ridiculous, especially when the schools and the NCAA profit so much from the sports these kids participate in.
  7. Glad he's finding something to do with his time, but those lifetime symptoms sound rough. Dealing with a limp, is one thing, dealing with head issues for the rest of your life is another.
  8. Rex wouldn't fix the only thing wrong with this team, and that's the offense. Our defense is fine, and that's all Rex is really notable for, imo.
  9. It's kinda funny, there's one side that's basically "Well, Orton is the better option right now, even though he's not great" and the other side painting that as "omg you LOVE Orton". He's a better option right now, but dear god, no one is claiming he's a top 10 QB. Just what we had was pretty bad, at the beginning of this year, even mediocre is an improvement.* So many extreme viewpoints. * EJ could still develop, this isn't the end of his career yet.
  10. First four games: 4-12, 5-15, 6-14, 5-16 (35.1% - Would put us at 28th in league) Last three games: 5-16, 8-15, 4-12 (39.5% - Would put us at 21st in league)
  11. Much like CJ, he bounces outside unless there is a wide open hole... and unlike CJ, he doesn't have the speed to succeed at that from time to time. So... here's hoping we create some giant holes.
  12. Basically the only way Indy would contemplate doing this is if Luck said "I'm never playing another down for you, ever" and sat out any franchise attempts.
  13. I had us at between 4-12 and 6-10... so, I'm on the path to being wrong, and I'm ok with it. Unless we lose out the season.
  14. I'm thinking we'll see Dixon more than Brown, and that Brown might have flashes, but overall our running game will continue to struggle. We do have a weak line afterall, and the Jets have a strong front seven. Hopefully people don't flip out after the game about it heh.
  15. I probably would... even though I don't like it. Luck has potential to be a real game changer for a team... Watkins, and Glenn are damned good, but their positions do less to change a football team's fortunes compared to a potential HoF QB. But really, it's all kinda moot and silly.
  16. We've had some success with a crappy line and EJ as QB against them, via quick passes. Hopefully we implement some quick routes and slants, and Orton can get rid of the ball in time.
  17. I like CJ a lot, in that he's a great kid, and explosive player in the right offense... but Hughes is just a monster, and helps our defense in so many ways. The fact that we can get pressure across the board with our starting DL helps out our LBs and DBs so much.
  18. He puts the statue in the Statue of Liberty play.
  19. It's crazy how intense this has gotten. EJ Pro: Can get out of pressure situations better, and protects the ball better. EJ Con: Doesn't take many chances, less accurate, and doesn't read the defense quite as well. KO Pro: More accurate, ball comes out faster, throws are harder, reads defenses better. Willing to stand in the pocket to make a throw. KO Con: Doesn't protect the ball very well when under pressure. Throws bad interceptions sometimes. I'll take KO for now, assuming he can get back into things and protect the ball better. But, EJ may very well grow his game over the next few seasons, so I see no reason to give up on him yet.
  20. I'd say Dareus, and that's about it, so far. There's been a lot of solid play, but not as much individual stand out stardom for our guys this year. (Frankly, I'll take a better record and all around solid play vs a losing record and a couple stars)
  21. Different situations, imo... the Rams are just as much an LA team as they are a St. Louis team. If he voted to move the Pittsburgh Steelers, or the Cleveland Browns, or similar, then it'd be weird.
  22. Kinda crazy just how much space he had in such a tight field.
