Ideally yes we would have produced more yardage (and thus points), but we have major problems on our line, our play calling is questionable, and we still weren't too far from average... so I'd say our results fall under reasonable.

Oh, you want a real answer? I consider 20 reasonable, slightly disappointing, but reasonable. Especially with our terrible line, and the Jets strong front seven. But I mean, c'mon, it's way more fun to be unrealistically outraged.

We should have scored 48 points off of those 6 turnovers. Anything less is a disappointment!

It seems like a lot of folks are arguing in favor of EJ right now, because he might develop in the future. But maybe I'm misinterpreting things. I'm of the opinion that Orton is playing well enough to win us football games, our biggest weakness is our offensive line. EJ should have been behind a vet from the beginning, hopefully this all helps him and he develops in the future. But, he'll need to develop within the next couple years if we want him to be successful on *this* team. If not, he might find success elsewhere, or simply not get a second chance.

If we were Chan Gailey, we'd go 1-7 to close the year out! What does Saint Doug do?

Orton's QBR is higher than EJ's, so again... why isn't he the best option for the Bills right now?

Fwiw, my post was a little tongue in cheek. It is interesting though, that we have about the same superbowl percentage as a team that has just about no chance to make the playoffs. You'd think by the fact that we have a chance to make the playoffs, we would have a better chance of winning the superbowl.

Objectively, I think we have a chance, but it's a relatively small one. We have some really tough games, along with some really tough competition for the playoff spots. Needs: - For us to perform at the same level, or better - NE to stumble - AFC North team to pull away, and the other two to stumble - KC, Houston, San Diego to stumble That's a lot of needs there in order to have a shot... I have our chances at like 10%, but I also have our chances of finishing with a winning record as pretty high.

If we finish 8-8 or better, I'm ok with giving the coaching staff another season... though I'm still really not sold on Hackett. We'll need to shore up the offensive line, and figure out our running back situation, though if we are to improve further.

I was holding out hope that he could play towards the end of the year, helping a playoff push, but it sounds like they are on a time table of missing the season... womp womp.

As much as I hate Brady and the Patriots... I admit that I appreciate getting a chance to watch Brady and Manning, and their respective teams be great. There's very few as good as they have been over their careers. Kudos to them... now retire already.

I've been lazy about the flu shot over my life time. Been lucky in that I never get the flu, but I'm pretty sure I've given it to others... Getting it this year, after I've been educated by multiple folks the necessity in creating a safer environment for those with weakened immune systems.

Re JW's All-22 My big problem is the play calling in the 2nd/3rd quarter (which he doesn't break down) when we had a bunch of three and outs. I really, really, really would have liked to see us throw a play action in there somewhere. Other than that, I was pretty happy, especially what we did early and late in the game, and obviously, the result was we won the game, so... woot
