  1. If they are out, I don't see how we move the ball. :/
  2. I'm having a hard time, a lot of ignorance in that thread.
  3. He's been good, but phenom is something else, IMO.
  4. I'd rather him heal. As much as it'd be great to have him back and healthy this week, I would hate to see him rush it and be out for the rest of the season. It's important to win this game, but it's still only one game, and in the middle of the season... even if we lose, we still have a shot to make a run. We need Fredex to make that run.
  5. I have the nagging feeling that we are still "paper tigers", but less so than in previous years. We have a better team, but also a nasty schedule ahead of us. Currently 6 games against teams with winning records. 8-8 could be very possible, if not worse... but our team is still better than the 2008/2011 squads.
  6. - Expanded coverage, there should be a base level of coverage that includes preventative care, that everyone in the US has access to, regardless of economic capability. - Overall lower prices. For the most part, I'm ok with the quality of healthcare in the US, it's the coverage and access parts that I think need solutions. So my opinion/theory, is that a single payer system would help with this. It'd mean increasing taxes in our progressive tax model, but the effect on most citizens would be negligible, since they would no longer be paying out of their paychecks/pockets for privatized insurance. I imagine the rich would have to pay more tax, and they would also want "fancy" options, so they'd buy a "fancy" private insurance option. Yes, this comes down to a limited "wealth redistribution", which, I'm personally ok with to an extent. My taxes would likely go up in such a situation. That being said, if there's a way to achieve the above via other methods, I'm on board. And if my "theory" is wrong, I'm fine with that as well. As long as there's a way to get the results I'd like to see.
  7. If I can, I'll try to get there. I have friends in London, so it's a good excuse. Just depends on airfare and ticket prices.
  8. If an opponent is weak against the run, we'll likely pass it more. If an opponent is weak against the pass, we'll likely run it more.
  9. Fair enough. I'm welcoming the education though. Like I've said before, I care more about results. I have opinions on how to get to those results, but if my opinions are wrong, so be it. If someone else's opinions are correct in how to get to those results, then I'm all for it. I'm not the sort of guy who sticks to my guns when proven wrong.
  10. Sure, give me metrics. Convert me to free market. It might take a while to get through to my liberal progressive socialist brain, though.
  11. Well, sounds like a typical Bills second half of the season is starting.
  12. Yeah, the exchange is what helped me. I switched providers because my old provider increased their rates significantly.
  13. The only hope the Bills ever have of being competitive in the AFC East, is for Brady to retire. It's pretty simple.
  14. You can't answer a simple question without resorting to name calling. So why should I engage? You and Gatorman can hash it out (though, I don't necessarily agree with him on all things, like some assume).
  15. Well, hopefully in 2016 a Republican wins POTUS, and Republicans win super majority in Senate, then things will get done.
  16. Latter Day Saints (Mormons)
  17. I was just about to look for these stats myself, thanks

  19. I bet both would work really well in Kelly's offense, honestly. Well, if EJ was given time to develop, anyways.
  20. It's just crazy how short of a leash some guys get. We can thank Luck and Wilson for that... they both had some immediate successes, which is NOT the norm, and now, unless you put up top 5 numbers right away, consistently, you suck. Why don't QBs get time to develop anymore?

  22. Never said that. I have Tasker on ignore, so I generally don't view his posts. I did ask for metrics, and he ignored it, so conversation over. I've said time and time again, that I'm not a big fan of Obamacare. It's going ok for me, but it clearly isn't for anyone else here, which means something needs to be changed. I'm generally not a fan of the major profit driven medical industry here. It makes it incredibly challenging for poorer Americans to obtain quality care. That doesn't lie at the feet of Obamacare solely, as prices were rocketing up before it's implementation, and since it's implementation. For all I care, repeal it, destroy it, go to a fully free market solution. I don't care what the solution is, as long as the results are there. As long as people from all walks of life have access to medical care.
  23. Congratulations guys, hopefully the Republicans can convince Obama to get on board, and they can fix the wrongs with this country like the Democrats couldn't.
  24. Not saying he is Tom Brady, just saying that the old "outlier" method doesn't work with this limited of a data set.
  25. Yes, take away 50% of Kyle's stats to make a point, while not taking away the same from the other players. Do you sit and sharpen your pitchfork at all times? Tom Brady's first 8 games this season - 18 TDs Take away best two games - 9 TDs Take away worst two games - 2 TDs End up with 7 TDs over 4 games - averaging less than 2 TDs per game. Tom Brady sucks.
