    Hopefully the coaching staff realizes this when we are mathematically eliminated. Orton may be better right now, and give us a slightly better chance to win, but if we are missing the playoffs either way, might as well try to develop the young guy.

    Penalties are usually the result of undisciplined players, which come from undisciplined/bad coaching. I doubt the league is all "LOL LETS SCREW THE BILLZ HURR HURR" In fact, a Bills Cinderella story this year would be huge ratings.

    KO is a veteran. EJ needs to develop. It's fair. KO is playing a bit better than EJ in the same situation, but we need KO to play significantly better, otherwise the W-L results are about the same.

    Ok, we're realistically out of the playoff hunt before December. We aren't good. Better?

    We already know how we respond to pressure, and it's a complete folding. Every important game this year, we've completely choked. So yes, start EJ for the rest of the year. Figure out what you have. So you know if you need to take a QB in the 2nd round or not.

    Yup, at the time we expected EJ to take a step forward, so why not get the best WR possible to team with him? It made sense at the time... but now with hindsight it's a "doh" moment.

    Yeah, I think it's clear we overspent on Watkins, considering our QB situation, and the WR class seems to be very strong. But... hindsight is 20/20 and all. Sammy will be stuck here for 4? more years while we bring in mediocre vets, and draft busts, then he'll go play for a real team.

    Two guards, a quarterback, a running back, a linebacker, a head coach, an offensive coach. By the time we get those settled, we'll develop holes elsewhere, so it's all kinda moot.

    Hell if I know, I'm an ignorant fan. So the fanboy in me wants Reich, because why the hell not. As long as we keep our defensive coaching staff.

    4-6 years is plenty of time for lobbyists to buy a politician. Especially if said lobbyists are giving money to campaign efforts.

    Yet. As we've seen with Tannehill, development might take a couple years. Orton is better than EJ at the moment, but we're out of the playoff hunt basically. So why not play EJ and see if he can develop?

    Our biggest problem is our offense. If it's Hackett's then fire him. If it's Marrone's, fire Marrone and Hackett. But we need to keep our defensive coaching in tact.
